If you had accessibility issues this place would not be appropriate as there are quite a few steps around the resort, as well as access to Long Beach which is down a steep path. The water pressure in our bathroom was a little weak.

We loved the location of Viking Nature Resort it is slightly away from the main madness of the town centre, but walkable within 25 mins along footpaths parallel to the beach. We walked the route day and night and felt safe. Breakfast and the main reception area is right on the beach and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast whilst looking at the water. The private cove is a really lovely and relaxing, with small clusters of coral for snorkelling. It was great seeing monkeys walk across the beach in the evenings and we even had monkeys on our balcony one morning. Our room was incredibly spacious with sea views and very clean with a TV that had access to Netflix and Youtube which we enjoyed in the evenings. The bed had a mosquito net surrounding which was great for the bugs. The staff were helpful when enquiring about checkout times, and friendly during meals.

Check in was overly long and there appeared to be a trust issue. Perhaps this was because we were only staying one night, I wouldn't hold it against them.

Excellent location and value for money. The only downside was it had mosquitoes which the rest of Thailand seemed to lack. I would absolutely stay again.

The rooms had a lot of steps to it and so did moving about the resort, thankfully my mum was bale but i could see this being a challenge. The bugs at the time of year, lots of mozzies The walk to the centre of town-more like a hike

The villas were so traditional and unique inside. They were spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly too. The food was out of this world so fresh Seeing the monkeys (but take care)

Breakfast should be better. Not many things available. They should have more free shuttle to town.

Very nice people as always in Thailand. Super clean, super comfortable bed. It was a very good stay.

All properties are up steps /stairs, so if you have walking problems this could be an issue. The property didn’t have any space for clothes. We just had 6 coat hangers.

The huts were clean, with hammock out on the front porch.

Beautiful bungalow with hammock on balcony overlooking the beach private as not attached to another room. Staff where very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good. You can walk into town takes about 7 minutes and about 5 minutes to Long Beach. We stayed 2 extra nights.

Cleaning staff doesn’t speak English at all, better ask at the reception; most of the dishes from the menu (if you have lunch or breakfast there) are really spicy (ask before order); starting from 10am the water at the beach becomes dirty from the diesel they use for long tail boats; the cockroaches sometimes appear in the bungalow

Private bungalows; everyday cleaning and water; private beach (we’ve found it much better than Long Beach); clean water in the mornings so you can snorkeling and watch many spices of fish; market is nearby (10 min of quote dangerous route- there are 2 and both are similar by difficulty); there many animals in the wild (not sure if it is an advantage or disadvantage) and also cats (I like them); variety of food for breakfast is excellent (hot & cold dishes, fruits, cereal, plant based milk and a few juices, coffee and tea bags, croissants & local desserts, omelette and pancakes)

However, there were a few drawbacks. The tap water had a slightly salty taste, making it feel like you couldn't quite get clean after a shower. Additionally, the soundproofing in the rooms was quite poor; we could hear boats passing by, which was a bit bothersome at night and in the early morning. While the staff were friendly, their English was sometimes difficult to understand. The food from the menu was not particularly impressive, and we were disappointed when the resort ran out of fresh coconuts during our stay.

The resort boasts a stunning private beach, which is very close to Long Beach. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with drinks and cold towels, which was a nice touch. The staff at Viking Nature Resort were lovely, attentive, and very dedicated to making our stay comfortable, although their English was sometimes hard to understand. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The resort also features its own restaurant, offering a variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices. We particularly enjoyed the evening BBQs and the breakfast buffet, which had a good mix of Thai and Western options. Additionally, the resort offers massage services, which were very relaxing and reasonably priced.

The tap water had a funny smell, and also the shower. The connectivity to the other restaurants and cafés is only by foot or longtail boat . When it rains it gets difficult to reach the main part of town

Tucked away in one corner of phi phi islands , location is really what we liked . The food was great at the hotel , the villa we stayed in was amazing

If ANYTHING - it’s quite a hike to and from reception/restaurant. It’s 20 minute walk to town. Just be prepared to walk or take boat taxi’s to town. It’s nice to be away tho. And room is kind of small but has all you need.

What a vibe! Loved the private hammock with the view! Quiet area. Not crazy partying anywhere! Comfy bed! Staff greeted me with a cold scented towel, and ice drink, and carried bags to and from room upon check in + check out. Good restaurant.

Noice from the boats passing by at night or early morning.

Very remote, beautiful views from the rooms, surrounded by the jungle and nature, great beach. Rooms are fabulous, felt like a fancy tree house. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed there 2 days. You can easily walk to the town, there is a path. Pretty good breakfast, especially coconut pancakes. :)

The taste of the water in the sink while brushing the teeth felt a bit off, but it was similar in another resort on the island as well.

Booked a Deluxe Room for one night with my partner, the room and the view exceeded our expectations. It truly feels like a nature resort with the hike upto the room. The breakfast was decent, and another bonus about this hotel is that you can walk to Ton Sai Pier / main town from here. From anywhere north of here you'd need a boat taxi. The massage team is excellent, do not miss out on that. Overall, the value for money was excellent and we would definitely consider staying here again.

    Nothing.

The rooms are little huts in spread over a big area, so it feels like having your own house in the jungle and not like a hotel. They are very highly equipped and the hotel is far from the party place of the island, so ideal if you want to escape the crowds a bit.

Some basic maintenance is needed. AC didn't work the first night which was mayor no-no, but they did fix it the next day.
