Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesPool closes too early (7:00) The bedroom floor was super polished and slippery. Even my 25-year-old son who is a rock climber and very sure-footed commented on this. There is no elevator which didn't bother us but if you have mobility issues it could be a challenge.
Wonderful location just a minute walk to the exquisite Wat Chedi Luang which was having a festival that was fascinating, and a close walking distance to many other gorgeous temples. A minute off a main road but quiet and lovely. I would stay here again. We liked having a balcony to sit out on as well.

Beautiful property feet away from Wat Chedi Luang in the heart of old town. The room is stunning, with teak details throughout, a beautiful view of the courtyard pool.

AustraliaShower pressure was good but its a hit & miss with temperature, no smoking in the balcony, wifi is weak when too many ppl in use, wall insulation is no good, the floor board is very slippery. Repairing room in off season was very loud & stinky.

An Oasis of calm in the old city, rooms were huge and the pictures on the web don't do it justice Brilliant location. Great pool to chill after a day's sightseeing. Staff very friendly and helpful, Hotel was very clean and we would have no hesitation in going back here.

United KingdomThe ground floor rooms were a bit dark, even in the daytime with the curtains drawn. For some reason when we asked about the first floor rooms to get some more light we were told that they were more expensive than the executive room we had (for clarity executive rooms are their top price rooms).
Staff are lovely and always willing to help. Rooms were spacious and well presented and the location is perfect for exploring. The pool area is "cosy" but there's not a lot of noise as there are only 8/10 sun loungers.

Beautiful small hotel with lovely palms trees and timber finishes, the rooms arranged around the pool. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms & bathrooms are lovely and all in nice Thai style. Easy walk to restaurants and local attractions in the centre of Chiang Mai.
