Staff were so welcoming and friendly. They accommodated anything we needed with a smile. Restaurant served delicious traditional Thai dishes. Beach and pool area were beautiful. Close to ferry and town. Had a great stay in V-View and would highly recommend for a relaxing break.

The restaurant/cafe had a self service fridge for beers and cold drinks and you can get on demand food during the day which was all good, but the whole hospitality area was shut down by night fall and not open untill at least after 8am, so we had to go our for breakfast and when we got back after dinner the whole communal area was pretty dead. The beach is very tidal, so not great for swimming at low tide. There was a building site next door when we were there, again not a big issue as we were out most of the day, but the banging and drilling started up from 9ish.

Beautiful beachside location, down a quiet track on the edge of town away from traffic and noise. Small pool is great to cool off in, and the hammocks and swings set under a large tree on the beach provide a wonderful relaxing view of the sea and Samui in the distance. The huts are traditional, simple and not fussy, but clean and cool, with a private porch and hammock. Beach hut V1 is on the beach, the higher the number the further from the beach you get. We were in Hut V5 and facing the pool.

It is approximately 2 km to the pier and the tuk-tuk equivalent is rather expensive (150 THB per person, also kids).

Very nice resort at a picturesque beach. Staff is just great - they supported us renting a car, played football with the kids and kept the resort tidy all the time (scattered leaves were cleaned away within 30 minutes after every thunderstorm). Breakfast is great.

All the smoking in the tables to the right of the restaurant, even though all tables of the left side had no-smoking signs. The staff should really stop the guests from doing this, it shouldn’t be left to the others guests. There were also people smoking by the pool, although they had signs forbidding that too. No enforcement of regulations, in essence. Not the reports fault, but there was a large group of German guests who were incredibly loud and chain smoking, which were at the bar/restaurant from opening time until closing. The beach also isn’t the nicest, with looong bouts of low tidal water. Take note in case you expect to be able to swim in the ocean and not the pool.

Close to lots of restaurants, easy process to rent a motorbike from the resort. The Burmese guy working there was so kind and helpful. Excellent value for money, nicely decorated cottages.

We accidentally booked a cabin that didn't have air conditioning. They told us when we checked in that we were in a "fan cabin" and gave us the option to swap to a cabin that had AC, but we thought it would be fine and just stuck with it, but we definitely wished we'd taken their offer. If you have the option to stay in a cabin with AC I definitely recommend it!!

Such a charming little spot right on the beach with the cutest little private cabins. The on site bar/restaurant had delicious food and drinks on a very cute covered lanai with beanbags. The staff was incredibly friendly and even though it was a slow week you could see them busy making improvements to the property. We were there right after the full moon party so it was very quiet and peaceful. Really lovely and refreshing pool. Wish we could have stayed longer just hanging out in their beach hammocks!

The only minor issue is that they built a day club next to it so it can be a bit noisy during the day. But we had no issues sleeping and my couple has a very light sleep so you won't have issues with noise at night.

The views from the beach are amazing and the service we got from the hotel was super good. They speak good English and offer you tours and bike renting which is convenient. The hotel is conveniently close to a local supermarket where you can get anything you need from food to toiletries. Outside the supermarket you also have a small local market with food and clothes to buy. The food at the bar is quite good too.

This was our favourite place to stay when we visited Thailand. It was that little bit of pure prace we were looking for. The staff were super friendly and smiling all of the time, the food was made with love and tasted delicious, and the location was perfect for us for some quiet time. We will definitely return

Overall nearly perfect. However, the pool was highly loaded with chemicals, and the skin of the children got quite irritated by it. We assume, it was probably needed due to the heat, we don't know. Don't expect your room to be cleaned while you are there - for us, no issue. And there was an unpleasant "canal"-like smell now and then, when the wind was gone. The sea water is super shallow, hot and not super clear - not really good for swimming. Remember to wear shoes when going into it, there are lots of coral pieces and rocks that hurt the feet. The bungalow was a little pricey compared to surrounding places, but for us it was worth it.

The whole V-View area was one of the prettiest around: nice plants, little bungalows hidden within the green and sandy resort. The family beach bungalow was literally 10m from the water. Stunning view, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom and a clever design for storage! No mosquito nets, but due to the wind we had no problems with insects. The restaurant was quiet and relaxed, the food was good and they also had some "western" things on the menu which was nice for the kids. The cappuccino was also quite good and they opened the restaurant at 8am! The people were super friendly and helpful! You could call a very talented massagist on the beach. The surrounding resorts had also nice bars and restaurants. A short walk and you could reach a few supermarkets, 2 pharmacies, 2 clinics. And the kite schools just walking distance on the beach - more then perfect! We would definitely try to book it again if we are around.

I had a room with a fan it was really getting too hot. (First days of April) So I don’t recommend this room in April or May. But in generally everything was ok. They have rooms with AC too.

Everything was great, very calm and well kept location, cute huts, nice pool and restaurant area. Rooms were clean with a small balcony. We had a room without aircon (fan only), can be a little hot especially in the mornings but if you plan to be outside a lot, it's fine. Easy scooter rental available as well.

Nothing but there was a noisy bar next door but it didn’t go on too late.

The location was right on the beachfront. It was very clean and the staff were helpful. The cabins were very original and the patios had hammocks and furniture. The pool was especially clean. We loved this place and stayed an extra night.

Bungalows was comfortable, had an hammock right outside. Location was good as well, close to the main road with restaurants and shops, and right next to the beach. Motorcycles available to rent which was a plus. Overall a very good value for money.

This resort is beyond my expectations!!!! It is really good one, first the environment is excellent, close to the beach, the room is super clean( I am surprised), very tidy and comfy! Even it is a fan room not hot at all, they have a hanging rope at balcony to hang your clothes after washing, the location is very convenient, due to the weather is too hot I didn’t rent scooter to go anywhere but only stay at resort and reach to town by foot is enough, besides, the resort has a restaurant, I think it is tasty, I don’t know why so many guests didn’t comment, I tried the restaurant in town , but the resort restaurant is also good choice if you don’t feel like to go out. Like to sit there holding a drink and enjoy the beach and see people kite surf ! I wish I could stay longer , hope next time can go back, btw, the owner is also fast responding to your request. Thanks for the hospitality!

I wouldn’t call didn’t like but in the beginning I booked a room with a fan and then upgraded. The first room they put me in was considerably uncomfortable and I wouldn’t be able to stay if I didn’t upgrade to the AC room. The difference wasn’t that much.. so maybe they should make all the rooms with AC and same furnitures ?

Nothing! It was just amazing!

It was a small bungalow hotel. It is a family company we really liked it. The owner organised everything for us. He booked our boot trips, he got us a motorbike. He organised us a cheap taxi to full moon party. The whole team was so nice. The food was very good and the room was so lovely and clean. Everything was perfect we even prolonged for another 3 nights because we really liked it! They were fully booked but managed it that we could stay in our room. Around you have some restaurants and bars and also food markets. We will come back for sure! For us it‘s the best hotel ! We loved it!

No kettle or fridge but lovely cheap restaurant with nice breakfast on the site you can get drinks and lovely food Aslo we got a kettle for 199 back in the supermarket at he top of the road.

This is a gorgeous resort on the beach front . It's got a lovely pool and restaurant relaxing lounge on the beach . It's got other hotels and bars next to it also 15 min walk from thong sala . The staff are very friendly and helpful . It is very clean and we loved our stay here will def b back ..
