Potential for bugs to get in room due to gap in door, but didn't ever get bitten! Room fairly small for two backpacks.

Good social areas outside the rooms, great pool table and bar. Jerk food was nice to have on site. Staff were friendly. Room was a little bungalow/cabin which was fun!

The bed was a little firmer than I personally like but totally fine for a couple of nights. To nit pick, the bathroom could do with a shelf and a couple of hooks

It was on beautiful grounds just outside of Pai town (15min walk) so we had a view of the mountain area and also made it a nice quiet spot. The staff were really great, relaxed and helpful . It also conveniently has a jerk chicken restaurant which was especially handy when we were stuck at the hostel because of the rain. I very much reccomend the pancakes for breakfast, soooo fluffy. The accommodation was as expected clean hut with a good amount of space .

Could do with some more facilitaties such as a hairdryer in the room (with lots of rain during rain season this would have been nice). Difficult to dry clothes inside or outside the bungalow because of humidity/airconditiong. Rooms could be cleaned more often (now once in one week).

The view from the bungalow, the bungalow itself and the surroundings were truly magical. Extended my 2 day stay to a week! The hostel is not very social (no planned activities) but it was still possible to meet some nice people who were also solo travelling. The quietness was also nice and suitable to its environment.

Not applicable or I did not stay long enough that is all I will say haha If you do not have a scooter it might be a bit of a walk for you but a majority of people have scooters and they are super easy to ride so not really a negative in that manner.

I absolutely loved my stay at Butterfly Hostel in Pai, everything was amazing and the private bungalow was a little paradise. I was so high one night and the bed was so soft I felt like I was sleeping in the clouds of mt olympus with the gods, one of the best sleeps I have had in recent memory. The whole hostel and Pai in general attracts like minded and open minded people so it is super easy to meet people in the communal areas and the surrounding neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend getting a scooter or sharing with a mate as its so easy to get around and explore town plus is super cheap and they deliver straight to the hostel. The team there are also so funny and kind and can help you with anything you may need. The only problem with my stay was that I was not there long enough but I am glad I know for when I come back next year! Thanks Jade and the rest of the team! Remember I am a Man 😂

Great location not far from town, staff were extremely helpful and genuine! The rooms were clean and beds soooo comfortable. Chilled and peaceful stay! Free water, tea and coffee also added bonus :) able to check in early too

Of you without a bike its a bit far from the city, But I was with a bike so it was 5 minutes drive

Part of the charm is that it’s a bit outside the main area but you can rent a motorbike through them

There was an ant and roach problem the first two days I was here but after I used a can of bug killer that I got at 7eleven there has not been one living bug found in my room or bathroom.

The staff was always checking on me and making sure I had everything I needed. They communicated well and everyone was welcoming and very friendly. It's just outside of town so it's quiet but has easy walking access to everything and each room is surrounded by beautiful plants.

BEST STAY HERE! This is an amazing find in Pai, and I would absolutely go back here. The staff are amazing, really friendly and they go the extra mile. We had no problems during our stay, and the staff really made us feel welcome. The rooms are of a really good size and super comfortable beds. Everything was clean, with fresh comfy linen. Very good value for money. One of our best stays in SE Asia. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Unfortunately, we woke up during the night to suspected rodents scurrying along of the outside of the bungalow. They woke us up ~5-10 times through the night. The place smelled musty/moldy. Not conveniently walkable to walking street with no sidewalk and a moped is recommended.

Loved jerk pit kitchen! Enjoyed having animals on the property. The staff were friendly.

helpful staff. it was nice to have free coffee in the mornings. the rooms were decent for the price and clean. not that far from town - easy to walk in and very quick on a bike.
