The staff were not around, they did not speak English but we were able to communicate with them using google translate they were otherwise very friendly. The breakfast was delivered to the room so you cannot pick the quantity, no resting in the hotel.

There was no one on reception when I wanted to check in and no one there when I wanted to check out. I tried the reception line and whenever someone answered they hung up on me multiple times. I managed to get through to Nan instead and she sent someone who immediately came. So, it wasn’t a big issue I just think for 5 star hotel, the reception shouldn’t be abandoned.

Staff were so friendly and lovely and welcoming. It was very tranquil and relaxing, if you want to majorly chill out this is perfect. It’s beautifully presented and modern. Good facilities in room and the view of the beach from the pool was stunning.

The bad: 📌 There are no dining options in the resort and outside the resort neither. Next door Shiva has a beach club but it's not very good. Luckily the Grab or InDrive taxi app works well (THB 200 to go to Lamai where you have a lot of dining and wining options). 🥐 The resort is under construction. There are no services. They have breakfast but its very poor and they don't serve coffee. 🚿 The shower has virtually no cold water pressure. Hot is better but who takes a hot shower in Thailand? 🌐 Wifi was good but would be good if they give you the Wifi password in advance. It's listed on the check-in counter as we later discovered. 🧹 Friendly staff, but the cleaning could be better. Especially the terrace was never cleaned although they promised to clean it every day when we checked in.

The good: 📺 Big ol' smart TV with Netflix. 🛏 Very cosy, big bed, mini fridge and safe in the room. 🙉 Very quiet inside the villa and outside on the terrace.

We found the resort being a bit neglected. There is no path to the sea or the neighbor beach, unfinished cafe/restaurant. We had stayed for a week and our room was cleaned only once and after we asked for it. Accumulation of litter was a problem as there were only very small bins available. We didn't have any drying racks so had to spread swimming suits on the chairs.

Cosy, quiet and stylish. Little paradise for 2 people. Villa had good shower, bath and litter kitchenette. Having own little pool was a godsend. Amazing!

Restaurant was closed for refurbishment and no other on site facilities which was disappointing (but temporary). Location fairly remote which required taxi service to most amenities.

20 mosquito in the Villa at check in . Breakfast not much choice and mostly missing items. Gym , can not even call a gym . No restaurant in the Resort . No restaurants around the hotel . Hotel is not on Lamai beach . Beach cant use for Swim .

The villas are amazing and everything was luxurious. The property has everything you need and the service was amazingly nice and helpful. We needed to rent a motorcycle and they gave us the best deals and ordered them to the property ready for you. When you need taxi or anything regarding the villa that you stay, they make sure that is done as quick as possible. The property have amazing pool area that is shared and is very clean and luxurious. If you fancy a privet beach you have it there and is just next to the pool and the water is very clean. Totally book it don’t think about it.

The stay at Tolani Resort Koh Samui was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we entered the resort we were enveloped in an atmosphere of pure serenity and beauty. The location of the resort is simply breathtaking. Nestled in lush tropical vegetation, it offers spectacular views of the azure sea and the pristine white sandy beach with a great offshore reef that is particularly easy to explore at low tide. The sight alone is a reason to come here. The staff at Tolani Resort deserve special praise. Nannie and Amira in particular were always courteous, friendly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Their professionalism and commitment went above and beyond the usual and were instrumental in making us feel at home. A big thank you to both of them for that. The room at the resort was very spacious, tastefully and very practically furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure. The private pool was the absolute highlight and offered us the peace and joy we wanted to unwind in isolation. The amenities and leisure activities at the resort left nothing to be desired. Although the resort is currently under renovation and its own areas such as the spa and restaurant are closed (mentioned very clearly in the booking form), we had everything within walking distance, from the relaxing spa area to exciting water sports, there was something for everyone to experience and enjoy enjoy. All in all, our stay at Tolani Resort Koh Samui was an unforgettable experience that we would highly recommend to everyone. We look forward to returning soon and once again enjoying the paradisiacal atmosphere of this wonderful resort.
