Anyone who is not confident riding a scooter or walking up and down lots of steps may struggle here but this was totally irrelevant to us.

Staff were immediately welcoming and really friendly, nice peaceful location, great views, good shower, free taxi to the pier at set times throughout the day, scooter hire available on site.

We stayed there for 2 nights, but this place was so amazing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and did everything to make us feel welcomed and happy. They should get a medal and a rise for carrying all this luggage back and forth from these stairs.

The room is not functional. The bathroom too small, the mirror not good positioned, the light too dim to shave. The toilet seat was broken and also not fixed after we had asked to fix it. The beds were stone hard. The kitchen sink had no warm water and was not fixed properly. Far away from everything The way down to the sea is dirty and not taken care of. The sea is dirty down there as well. There is a pier but not easy to swim there eighter as the boats from the diving center of the hotel next door are docking the boats there. No real coffee at breakfast, just powder coffee. For this kind of place that is very poor. Breakfast was good but not amazing, the breakfast is delivered to the hotel and not prepared on the location. also for this location and price I would have expected fresh juice, coffee, etc Bear in mind that the location is a little bit away from the next town. You need a scooter or taxi to go everywhere. Not suitable for small children as the fences in the lobby and breakfast areas are very low and kids could fall over.

Amazing place with stunning views. Pool is lovely. We stayed in room 20, a Hugh suite with enough place for 5 persons. The room above can be connected, this makes it possible to stay there together as friends or family. House made Joghurt and banana cupcakes for breakfast was very good.

Very beautiful! Gorgeous views, clean rooms, so tranquil. A very wonderful place to stay. The staff were so kind and helpful - I accidentally left something behind and they found it and posted it to my house within a few days! ❤️🙏

As other people have said, there are a lot of stairs depending on which property you book. We were fairly far down the cliff but they weren’t a problem for us. You are also amongst the trees so lots of nature noise! We heard some scratching our first night which scared us in the night but you quickly get used to it! I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for families with young ones due to the stairs and the limited pool space.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and is just like the pictures of not better! Everything is really clean and the staff cannot do enough for you. The views are absolutely stunning and town is just a few minutes drive or a 20 minute walk down hill. We got a scooter which was great for seeing the island. The hotel also does a shuttle down if you need it. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

Bar/restaurant facilities were not brilliant. The hotel offers a free taxi service into the town instead which was very helpful!

The most amazing setting for a hotel. Breathtaking views of Kohtao. A beautiful pool and the room was very unique. Great air conditioning and the shower/bathroom downstairs was a nice.

The stairs... located on a mountain slope, you have many!! Stairs to get from one place to another... The resort is in a distance from any restaurants or center, except for breakfast. The resort does not provide any meals, which means you need to go out to eat. In some of the rooms, the bathroom is external to the room, which means that you need to get dressed any time you want to use it. The hotel has access to the sea with a tiny beach that many stairs lead to, but the beach is not maintained and is dirty and with no services. It would have been nice if the hotel would be able to provide kayaks or paddle board for the use of the guests.

The place, just like its name, is a real hideaway. The rooms are hidden beneath the mighty trees, and the resort is beautiful. The pool is in the best location, and the hotel serves a rich breakfast with a magnificent view of the sea. The staff is lovely and helpful The hotel rents scooters at a decent price for 24H.

My three friends and I had a great time at Heritage Hideaway! It is a 15/20 minute uphill walk back from the town or 15AUD taxi but we didn't mind this too much! The rooms were nice and the view is beautiful. The staff were all very lovely and accomodating. Thank you!

We had termite eggs fall into our bed, and a mouse one day, and other small animals enter the room during storms. Sounds worse than it was, but they cleaned the room thoroughly and it stopped after a few days. Look you’re in a jungle what can you do!

I liked the setup it was beautiful, lots of stairs so you want to be a little fit, but the staff were so helpful taking our massive backpacks down when we arrived and back up when we left. They take you to Sairee for free anytime between 8am and 8pm which is fantastic. To get back it’s usually always 300 baht taxi unless you go further than sairee which adds up. I loved the room and view, pool was great also

No night porter or number to contact hotel staff. A squirrel got into our room one night and we couldn’t contact anyone but we managed to get him out ourselves. Would definitely need a moped to get around as hotel not very central.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are so peaceful and pretty. The stand out for me was the staff, every single member of staff were so so friendly and polite and helpful.
