Our one and only complaint was that it was difficult to sleep due to the weather. The bed was very comfortable and the room had good AC, but the thickness of the comforter made it so that you were too hot with the blankets on, and too cold with them off, no matter what the AC was set to.

Everything was amazing! The room was very clean and large, and we had a fantastic view of the beach from our balcony. The breakfast buffet had anything you could want, and it was all delicious. Both pools were clean and kept at the perfect temperature, and both had great views. And I can't say enough good things about the staff, everyone was so friendly and provided the best service I have ever had at a hotel/resort.

Nothing. It was as we imagined. It was a relaxing resort so if you wanted to party this is not the place to go. I also would not recommend for children but these are my own opinions.

The staff were amazing friendly and courteous. We used the fitness classes and loved them . The breakfast was awesome and the fresh fruit was tasty . Barista coffee was available at breakfast which was great. The room was just like the picture on the booking.com website. The little touches were appreciated cold towels at the pool fresh cookies in the room daily. Well done Manuel and your team of too many to mention . The breakfast crew were especially great.

By far the best experience I’ve ever had in my whole life. It’s me and my wife honey moon We didn’t know what to expect before we came to garrya tongsay bay we noticed that its was rated 9.5 on Booking.com and we were sceptical. Well guys this resort is definitely not 9.5, its 10/10! The staff, the service, the food, the cleaning, the vibes, the relaxing its all 10 levels above every hotel that we’ve been before, even better than 4 seasons ! Manuel the lovely manager is so so professional, with a perspective of always putting the gust in priority! No matter what he and his perfect staff will make sure that the guests will feel like a king/queen! We are so sad to leave this resort as we know that now every next hotel that we will booked will never come close to what we have experienced here. Thank you tongsay bay manuel and the amazing staff, we will never forget you ❤️

There’s nothing to dislike, simply be aware it’s on a hillside so plenty of steps, although buggies will get you most of the way; resort is also in a very quiet part of the island so transport is essential. Observational facts and absolutely not negatives :-)

Amazing property nestled on a hillside amongst the vegetation. You have to look very carefully to see villas so the privacy is superb. Wonderfully attentive staff, every conceivable breakfast choice and a superb lunch menu. Small secluded beach, two swimming pools and plenty of lounging in the sunshine options; highly recommended.

Some of the floor boards were old and flexible and uneven. The TVs in the room were not smart and could have benefited from having netflix or sceen mirroring. The breakfast and lobby area should be air-conditioned as some of the fans were ineffective.

The privacy of the sea view suite was second to none. And the view was stunning. The buggie service to the rooms was appreciated too.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. It is a little bit expensive but the service is really exceptional and we had a private pool which is not the case in lower priced hotel on the island.

This hotel is really beautiful and the staff is super nice and helpful. I really liked the private beach of the Hotel. It is very quiet. Definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in Ko Samui that I have seen. The hotel provides free kayak and paddle board during the day. The room was very clean and very well furnished. The breakfast was delicious.

- location, not easy to get tuk-tuk or taxi by your self. But it is easy to arrange transportation by hotel or by using grab app.

- fish tales restaurant ( sea bass coconut rice dish is good ) - wellbeing seafront pool villa ( perfect large private pool ) - bathrub in the villa is gorgeous - friendly staff - friday movie night - tennis court for free

Location is not really walkable to anywhere. Have to get a taxi anytime you want to leave so not the most convenient but again the hotel were great in organising. Ideal location for a relaxing holiday where you don’t leave the resort. However, the prices in the restaurants etc are pretty high so grudge eating and drinking there. Room service slightly sloppy where they forgot to replace certain things each day etc.

Gorgeous resort. The staff were so lovely every single time we saw them, and were very helpful. The resort itself was lovely and you were treated like royalty when at the pool and restaurant etc. Our room was lovely, and a gorgeous view. The private beach and the pool are fab. Hotel always organised taxis at a very fair price, not ripping us off like other hotels. Best part was the cold towels they give you when you go to the lobby, a very nice touch when it’s very hot!!!! Breakfast had a great selection and was very high quality. The BBQ buffet was AMAZING. Definitely recommend.

probably the hotel would consider the waiting space when you are not able to do early check in or late check out. you can stay beach side and/or restaurants, but sometimes very warm with arrival or departure day. if there are the space with air conditioning/ with sofa, bed, the guest may relax a bit better

The hotel is located very quite area in Ko Sami, beach has a lot of privacy which is not likely in other area in Thailand. Spa, wellness activities and restaurants food is focused on wellness. the resort is very natural colored and environmental conscious. If you like quiet, private place with hospitality, i would highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning location and beautiful resort! We booked a Seaview Pool Villa which is absolutely huge well furnished and modern. Breakfast was excellent with every conceivable food on offer, separate egg, waffle and juicing stations & well spaced out seating area. The main pool is very big and a welcome relief from the heat Restaurants are excellent with friendly staff who can’t do enough for you I enjoyed testing my phrase book Thai on the staff Aroy Mak Mak ka (very tasty) Big shout out to Thunder on reception and Ice in the restaurant in fact everyone was fantastic We also met the general manager Manuel at breakfast who was genuinely interested in our stay The Gym is compact and well equipped with modern equipment Previous to the stay at Tongsai Bay we were based in the sister hotel Banyan Tree resort for a few days I can honestly say both resorts are flawless with Tongsai Bay taking the edge on breakfast and general mobility around the resort You can actually walk quite easy around Tongsai Bay whereas with Banyan tree resort is very very steep and buggies were essential I would definitely come back and recommend You won’t be disappointed

It is just a detail that I didn't mind at the end and is the blokout curtain, I am used to have the darkness for sleeping but the bed and pillows make me feel and sleep like at home.

Everything at the hotel was amazing, the staff organized everything what I requested with detail, I would definitely come back to you next year, thanks a lot for the impecable service.

The power went out a few times in our room but never for long and staff was very responsive.

We loved everything- the food was delicious, the staff was extremely friendly, the views from every location on the resort were incredible. In terms of service, Tiger and other members of the staff went above and beyond to help us secure excursions and make sure we have a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day ourselves
