Some aspects dated and felt the outside space in the rooms was poorly utilised and needed updating.

Beautiful pools and grounds, super clean and staff were absolutely fantastic, Nirin especially at the bar!

The hotel is situated far away from the main attractions. Commute to and from the hotel is a bit of a problem. If you are staying here, it is advisable to hire a car / motorbike. The restaurant food was a bit pricey and the quantity was not the best. Quite tasty though!

There are 3 swimming pools and all are excellent! Very good for spending a chill day with one's family. The breakfast range is also very good. The beach is right next to the resort with excellent access!

Restaurant food not very tasty and sometimes over-cooked and over-greasy, some room facilities a bit dated (water in shower didn't work in the first 2 days but they fixed it, AC too dry)

Beautiful resort, great location on the beach, bikes for rent to go around the island, friendly staff in the restaurant, very nice and clean swimming pools, nice sunset view

Few maintenance issues - aircon broke down so had to move villas, no hot water but they fixed that quickly, pools are lovely but slightly cloudy water which is a bit of a shame

Great view, quiet and peaceful, food at restaurant was great, lovely spa, one night there was amazing saxophone lady playing live music at dinner, beautiful sunsets

I think you would need to get a taxi to get anywhere other than the few places you can walk to on the beach. As taxis are cheap this wasn't too much of a problem. The hotel villas were clean but tired looking. They could do with a complete makeover with new shower rooms. Our shower didn't have hot water on a couple of occasions and eventually we were moved to a different villa.. As we were in the poolside villa, the pathway from our villa to the pool was in need of re paving as the tiles were lifting and the grass was growing through. It just all looked a bit tired.

It's set on a beautiful beach. The pools were lovely and clean. The restaurant had a lovely view of the beach. The food at the hotel was excellent, always very fresh and there was always a great selection on the menu. The waiters and waitresses were lovely and the service was good. The hotel entrance was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and would call for the taxi for us. The equipment in the gym was good. The spa was calming and I enjoyed a good massage. The garden areas were lovely and the gardeners were constantly cutting back the hedges.

It is further out from the downtown area. Next time I will stay else where for a few days (closer to the fisherman village ) then come back to this resort when I don’t Plan on leaving. Theres no night entertainment and everything shuts down at 10ish. There were no menus in the room and every time I would bring one to my room, they would take it back the following day. Plumbing is an issue. Can’t flush toilet paper and the water pressure was weak. Also mine never got hot. Warm at best but I loved my room so much I didn’t care. Since the resort was very quiet I thought I would have meet the general manager but no sign of him. The spa operations / etiquette needs some work but again staff are great.

Mona and the staff were excellent. They really went above and beyond to accommodate. They definitely made my stay amazing. The food was really good but it would be nice to have a half board all inclusive option as I spent a lot on wine and food. The free breakfast could use some work but it was good. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. It really is a slice of heaven - stayed in the Pink Pearl and I will stay there again for sure.

Breakfast was nice but full of sugary things (even the yoghurt); tough to eat healthy, especially for vegetarians or vegans. A/C took very long to cool the room down.

Beautiful spacious villa. Comfortable bed and great bathroom. Wonderfully decorated. Location is great, right on a quiet beach and removed from the livelier parts of Samui. Staff extremely friendly, they even tried to secure me a copy of a book that was provided in the room.

The housekeeping can be improved. Dirty Towels were not removed and replenished until it was requested. Was told that the tibits bar will be replenished daily but on the 3rd day ,it was not.

It is a nice quiet resort with a private beach. Very windy and calm area. The staff were friendly especially one of the counter staff Algen who was very helpful and was very approachable through the stay there.

Our stay at The Passage was relaxing and very quiet. The staff were always pleasant, attentive and showed great initiative. Ram at the restaurant was also always around for us and great fun to have around. We appreciate especially the lovely towel art on the beds and how the resort was very responsive to every request and feedback given. Best of all was the amazing beach and breakfast view from the restaurant.

Facilities are a bit dated and could use a facelift, however grounds and pools were clean and gym and sports equipment were new. Breakfast menu a bit samey after a few days but probably due to the low numbers of guests at the time we went (it's not high season). If you have special needs (milk alternatives, gluten free bread), bring your own - it's an island after all. Drinks at the bar and restaurant food were quite expensive. In the evenings we enjoyed walking down the beach at low tide and having dinner at one of the beachside restaurants if we did not want dinner in the restaurant. In all, nothing to complain about. We'd be happy to come back.

Great location at the quiet end of the island, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the private beach strip free of boats and hearing the wind and exotic birds. Family friendly atmosphere. Manager Axel and his staff were very friendly and helpful in meeting all of our needs. Khun Art will make you a great omelette with fresh chili in the morning - he's also a great info source if you plan to travel to other parts of the country. Ask for the coconut shake! Plunge pool villas were great for cooling off in the abnormally high temperatures. Fantastic views of the sunset every evening!

no shade at the main pool. food was only average. a long way from any shops. no entertainment and very little onsite activities. there was broken glass in the sand outside the resort - thought someone would pick it up - but didn't. private pool didn't get cleaned while we were there and the algae build up could be felt on the bottom and sides of the pool. The atmosphere was very thick with smoke and smog - not the resort's fault, but I definitely won't be visiting Koh Samui again in January.

private pool was great. Thai massage onsite was superb. Kayaking was great. Staff were very friendly, but not very knowledgable about things to do at Koh Samui.

Location was not the great. You have to get a taxi or scooter to leave and there isn’t much around. The town nearby closes early as it’s not busy. Quite a drive to Chaweng which is the main area.

Grounds were very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size. Full length mirror. Rent scooter from reception. Two pools very good size. Beach beautiful. Best hotel for sunsets!
