The pool could have been in a better state and a bit cleaner. From an eco hotel we would have expected to have a mainly vegetarian/vegan menue, however the menue is very carnivore and one has to ask for vegetarian options.

The location, the setup and the architecture of the resort are very appealing. The bungalows are very nice as is the restaurant and the café. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We spent only one night at The Mud and enjoyed our stay very much.

The water in our room was quite salty, so it was definitely necessary to buy bottled water in large quantities for making coffee and brushing our teeth. The tree house is close to the main road so it was quite loud due to traffic. There isn't really anything nearby, so you have to take a taxi or drive to the cafes, restaurants and shops.

We stayed in the tree house with sea view. The property is well-kept and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was quite good. Nice view from our room. The live music a few times a week was nice. The pool are was very nice with a bar, loungers and palm trees.

There are a lot, I mean, I lot of mosquito that I ever saw in my life...they should spray or do something it was really too much

In low tide it‘s quite difficult to reach deeper water to swim (take after shows with you). A pier to the deep water would be perfect.

this was hands down the best stay in Koh Samui, the small villas are amazing! they have everything u need, the ac works perfect, its clean and modern yet it has that exotic vibe, the place is super chilled down, we were able to bring in our own drinks and snacks, breakfast was decent, fresh and tasty (selection smaller but enough for everyone), the views from the huts the sunset my oh my, and super amazing staff at reception and in the restaurant, thank u!

The only thing I would say. Were we were- the home on stilts (which was the best room in the house I would say) it was a little noisy as it was above a farm. So could hear the chickens etc. To improve: water- To improve the hotel would be to offer more drinking water. each day, we were given x2 small bottles of water in our room but that was not enough for the day or night, so had to buy extra. It would be good to offer guests drinking water on tap, or bigger bottles The pool- slightly disappointed by the pool area- there were only 4 sun lounger cushions available for the whole site., meaning unless you had use of the 4 sun loungers, the others were unusable, I asked at the bar area for more cushions and was told there were not anymore available. This is a beautiful site, be sure to keep it maintained.

The mud hotel was the first place we arrived to in Koh Samui after a 13 hour journey from Bangkok. It was as they say a sight for sore eyes. The love, care and detailing of this hotel is amazing. There is an organic feel where it has used natural materials but with a flare of inspiration and playfulness The rooms have everything you need from, dressing gowns, to umbrellas and dressing gowns, and even a pen and paper.. The staff were beautiful and attentive and the breakfasts accommodate pallets of all kinds whilst also celebrating Thai cuisine. . The musicians were also out of this world good

Nothing about the hotel - it was really great. Wider things the hotel can’t change - the sea goes out a long way and is not for swimming (very shallow when it does come in). The beach either side of hotel has a lot of litter on it. On a busy road which is sometimes noticeable when in restaurant.

Beautiful accommodation (we had a family villa which was over two floors and was fantastic). Restaurant is lovely with excellent food. All staff really friendly and helpful

As others have said, breakfast is a little disappointing for the price per night, particularly in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in Koh Samui. Drink menu very overpriced, likely due to the more isolated location. Not all sunset view rooms can see the sunset, so misleading.

The "Eco" in Eco Hotel feels very authentic and all the staff are very welcoming, professional and supported all our needs immediately. The whole place feels like a Family and we spent a wonderful time here with our baby girl. The breakfast Buffet and the Restaurant with its live music was very unique. You can taste the freshness and quality in every bite and sip while enjoying the wonderful visual design and music of this place.

The tap water, so if you are fussy about water taste buy big bottles from 7Elevan.

The property itself has so many things to do around. We found the coffee shop towards the end of our stay. I would highly recommend to chill there and try your hands on painting.

The bathroom for each hut is not completely indoors (Instead of windows it's open air) so we had bugs in the bathroom. It wasn't too big of a deal, but we'd have to open and close the bathroom door quickly so bugs wouldn't come in our bedroom. We used the mosquito net around our bed at night.

The resort is very beautiful with a great view. Staff go above and beyond for you.

The place was absolutely stunning- views were gorgeous, the rooms were very clean and well appointed. The food and drinks were of excellent quality and not too expensive either. The buffet breakfast included in our booking was phenomenal!!! And all the staff were so kind, welcoming and lovely. It made this a really special stay.

The aircon had a bit of a musty smell and was right above the bed so we all got a cold from the air con from our stay there Also the food at the restaurant was pretty expensive. It was good, but didn’t necessarily feel like value for money.

Loved that we had a room right next to pool and kids could run down while watching them from there. The hotel staff were so helpful and kind. This place is great for a two night stay to try something different and plenty of restaurants walking distance from hotel

The road is a little bit noisy and certainly when you have a room on the top side of the hotel.

The staff was kind and very helpful. I really recommend this hotel. We had a calm room on the sea side. Spend our last days in Thailand relaxing and we will definitely go back on the next trip.

Nothing, it was wonderful!

We loved the hotel! We stayed in the beachfront villa and it was so lovely. The vills was right on the sea front with chairs and hammocks outside so we were able to sit on the veranda whilst looking at the sea! Food in the restaurant was excellent and staff were wonderful, always happy to go the extra mile.

However the breakfast was a major letdown. The food was cold and looked like left overs from the night prior. We agreed it was the worst breakfast we’ve had since our stay in Thailand and did not align with the price we had paid for our stay here. We also hired a bike from the reception in which was a massive inconvenience as the company they had recommended and hired a bike off for us was broken and extremely dangerous to drive ( with broken wing mirrors) and was extremely expensive (£10 a day). When we asked for some money back considering the inconvenience they blamed us for not noticing the problem sooner ( however we noticed the issue when we had driven south of the island and was not willing to sacrifice another hour or two of our stay as we were only staying two night). The receptionist was unhelpful. When we went to the bike shop to complain about the issue, we noticed the same bike was a lot cheaper at the shop and felt like they had tried to steal our money.

We appreciate the beautiful birthday gesture in which balloons and flowers were displayed on the bed. The property itself was beautiful with modern interior and a beautiful sea view. We also dined in the restaurant for dinner and had an amazing meal with reasonable pricing.
