We planned to stay here for 1 night before moving on around the island (for a well earned relax) at the end of a 5 month long trip round SE Asia…We extended our stay for 15 night in total! 😆 And we’d love to visit again in the high season for a different vibe of the place. Very clean (huts, towels and sheets) and super comfortable beds! HURRAH! 🎉 If you know, you know! The resort grounds are incredibly well kept with lots of plants, flowers and coconut trees to boot. Swimming pool with sun loungers and beautiful breakfast/dinner seating area. Perfect location being central on the west coast of the island - giving easy access to both the north and south of the island for the beaches, and across eastward to the Old town. Everything and everywhere is within easy access. Scooter hire is available at the property for easy self-discovery of all that this beautifully laid back, rustic island has to offer. *there are also trips and tours available at the resort*a 1 minute walk to the nearest beach where you will find many rustic vibed bars and great sunsets, via an older resort/cat, geese and chickens haven (shall we say) which makes for a fun route and photo opportunity 😃 Nowhere else have I seen all three of these species sit amongst each other harmoniously. We were helped along with friendly locals pointing us in the right direction too 🙂 (I love Thailand) Although it was the start of low season when we arrived and breakfast was more of a set menu rather than the high season buffet set, it was delicious! as was lunch and dinner. Home made jams, yogurt and other foods was an extra touch we sometimes miss from back home with the more traditional Thai dishes with the ‘Lanta’ twist are equally yummy! Spicy pineapple salad! The owners, their son and team were always around and able to answer any questions about the island etc that we had and were the most wonderful hosts. Not forgetting their two cats who are also adorable.

Very nice pool, friendly staff, comfortable bed, spacious rooms, good location near the beach. I definitely recommend staying at the Mellow Mango. The owners are also very friendly and will give you lots of recommendations about Koh Lanta/Thailand in general which is amazing. I loved sitting out the front of my bungalow and saying hello to all the staff/other guests in the mornings. The Mellow Mango is full of good, laid back vibes. Would stay again.

A little oasis, what a gem, beautiful maintained and cared for resort. Comfortable stand alone bungalows, tastefully decorated and very comfy bed, great A/C and shower. Our rooms were cleaned and towels refreshed daily. The staff at Mellow Mango are very friendly & the owners Sabine and Johan were very helpful with local attractions, scooter hire and the best places to eat. You can see in the small details all over the resort how much effort the owners and staff put into you having a stay to remember- we ( family of 5) booked for 1 night but soon decided to add another 4 nights to this. Their breakfast are excellent especially the pannenkoekjes. The beach is a short walk away and has the best sunsets, the pool is lovely too esp. after a day exploring the island. We all loved our stay ( best in Thailand) and will be back- thank you Sabine, Johan,Dante, Chum and Loef

We planned a 1 night stay, but it was so beautiful that we booked another 5 nights. Resort centrally located on the island and we could rent scooters from the very friendly and helpful owners. We had a very nice bungalow (cleaned daily) with view on the garden (every morning well maintained) and lovely swimming pool. Breakfast and lunch is fresh and tasteful. Sabine recommended Pad Kra Pao and a papaya salad which was delicious. Compliments to the cook, she’s amazing. Don't hesitate to book this resort. We will definitely come back to stay again.

The owners Sabina & Johan were amazing!!! Jum behind the bar! All of the staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable, nice beds, ac, fridge and hot shower. Nice landscaping to view as this is my profession in Atlanta, USA. Clean pool What more could you ask for with the value you pay and the kindest staff!

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The owners take great care about all the guests. In the resort you find everything you need - great breakfast with many fruits and homemade jams; long pool; trip recommendations; laundry service; bike rental and much more. We had a really great time in Mellow Mango. If we ever come back to Ko Lanta we will visit Mellow Mango again.

We fully enjoyed our stay! The Mellow Mango staff was always very friendly, polite and helpful!! The room was perfectly clean and super cute and modern equipped. Decor was detailed to perfection. The owners had great food recommendations and even helped us with our next trip within thailand. We felt comfortable and welcomed all the time. The beach is near by and you can also rent scooters directly in/from the resort. Breakfast was super delicious, especially the homemade jams and juices. The perfect place to stay in Koh Lanta! Loved having my own little hut. The bed was comfortable, warm showers, good air con, cleaned and free water every day. I loved the yogurt and mini pancakes at breakfast. The pool area is lovely, and Khlong Khong beach is a 2minute walk, sunset massages, cool acoustic music and great food right on the beach. I rented a moped from here and the location is perfect for exploring both ends of the island. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL. I needed help during a boat tour, and the main Thai lady on reception answered the phone and translated to my tour guide for me. And the owners helped me sort out my tourist SIM card too. As a solo traveller it makes so much difference to have a safe and friendly place to stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!! 10/10

Everything was perfect. We felt so welcome and the owners were great and helpful. They cleaned our room every single day, provided new towels and two bottles of water. The smoothies are delicious, and the pool is well kept and clean. I highly recommend this place 🥭

There was not much space to hang clothes which wasn't a huge problem for us as we only stayed for 3 nights but would help for longer stays. I found it strange that there was no hand soap in the bathroom as you generally wouldn't carry this around and some privacy blinds/net curtains on the windows would be a nice touch as we had to shut the curtains every time we wanted to get changed which made it very dark in the room

The hosts was friendly and helpful. The location was great, only a few minutes walk to the beach and close to lots of nice restaurants. The swimming pool was a little tropical oasis and much needed in the heat. Breakfast was reasonably priced and there was a good selection of food. The rooms was large and designed beautifully and the bed was comfy. We hired scooters directly through the hotel and the process was quick and easy.

The juice and cold cloth on arrival were absolutely needed and a lovely touch. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and plenty of it, particularly liked the yoghurt and grenola. The pool is perfect and shaded which is what we needed during 35deg++. The rooms were nicely furnished, with a great little porch to sit on and the gardens really well tended. Proximity to beach is good and the very nearby bars and restaurants were all good.

The Mellow Mango is a beautiful resort that feels like a retreat. The grounds are completely beautiful, a lush tropical paradise (early days so will only get more lush). The super maintained gardens/green spaces seemed to attract lots of nature. Super clean and tidy….you really are transported to a lovely haven. The pool is small but perfectly formed….the only pool during our travels that was cool, cited cleverly under palms…..this resort always felt serene and never over booked. Very comfy beds. Privately owned and run by a lovely Dutch couple with a young son. Staff are always helpful and polite. Resort food (lunch) was great, we didn’t get to try breakfast but it looked good. The beach is a short walk away. A very enjoyable stay.

Thank you for the wonderful stay at the Mellow Mango in Koh Lanta! The owners are great people who are building their own dream on this beautiful island. Very helpful and they organised everything for us. The resort is a gorgeous garden with a nice refreshing pool. Bed was comfy and breakfast just right. It's located perfectly on koh lanta. With a scooter you can easily reach the south and the north of the island. Beach just 50m. Supermarkets, really good restaurants, ATMs are all in walking distance. We stayed for 5 nights at The Mellow Mango with our two teenage boys on a recent trip to Thailand and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a small, laid-back boutique resort with a beautiful pool set in gorgeous gardens, 2 minutes walk to Klong Khong beach. Bungalows are spacious and serviced daily. Sabine and Johannes, the hospitable and attentive owners, assisted us with trips and taxis, etc. We ate breakfast at the resort a couple of times, which was decent - we didn't eat there in the evening but the menu looked good and was very reasonably priced. We did, however, sample a few cheeky cocktails by the pool, which were delicious! We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Sabine, Johannes and the Mellow Mango 🥭 team for a wonderful time in Koh Lanta 😊
