Room was amazing, on the upper floor with high ceiling. Very comfy mattress and bed linen was of a great quality. Microwave in the kitchen. very clean room. Bathtub on the balcony is pretty private despite being outside of the room, and water pressure was really good. I love the territory of the hotel and often visit Grove Cafe, chill vibe and can hang out on the beach for hours. Pool is also good. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, great location in Cape Panwa, I loved the room, all was perfectly clean. Great bathtub on balcony. Staff was friendly. Second time I stayed in the hotel, and will be back for sure.

Dusts and mold in bathroom. Big challenge for walking uphill.

The hotel thought beyond and did provide everything such as umbrellas, flipflops, microwave, beach basket, private beach, kayaks, live music, playground….and even free cat! The location is good for those having cars or motorcycles, easily connect to the main road for traveling to different places

The location is a little far away from Old Town and the beach but getting a taxi or grab is very easy and the location is quiet and peaceful.

We had trouble with hot water in our room (staff did their best to fix/accommodate). We had an early flight and got a 'breakfast box'. Well let's just say that it was far far far below the standard you'd expect from a place like this.

Nice feel, spacious rooms, nice waterfront and option for kayaking.Tasty breakfast, and the cereal was the best I've had in Thailand.

Not much at all - only thing would be location, it’s about a 10-15 min walk to closest restaurant and limited options in terms of what we could eat nearby. However, very easy to get a bolt/grab to Phuket town or Rawei.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! The view was stunning our stay was so relaxing. All the other guests were friendly, it was a really nice atmosphere. The room was also super nice.

Hotel is located right by the mangrove beach in a secluded area. Beautiful and peaceful with a lovely pool open until 10pm each night. Nice cafe and restaurant right next to the beach which provides a wonderful vantage point to watch the sunset over the Big Buddha on the far side of the bay. Access to free paddle boarding and kayaking when the tide is in.

My original booking was for a room with too many stairs for me to comfortably handle. The staff did a terrific job finding me a ground-floor villa, which I loved, and even approached me when they found one a day earlier than we thought. Wonderful, proactive customer care.

Lovely design and wonderful staff! Pool was lovely with great beach view, and I always got a lounge chair. Enjoyed my stay -- I'm a repeat customer.

The breakfast could be served at least from 6:30 and not 7:00, since a lot of tours start earlier and the pick is always before breakfast time since The Mangrove is a bit further away from check ins.

The Mangrove had everything we needed for our first few days in Thailand. We needed rest and to recharge our batteries and if you are looking for the same then I recommend The Mangrove. The location is a bit secluded but you can see that when you book, so for us the isolation was a plus. The staff is wonderful, very welcoming and helpful, they do their best to accommodate guests in the best possible way.
