The front desk staff was ok but not as helpful as the rest of the staff. It is called Leaf Oceanside but was not actually on the ocean. Had to cross the street and cut through a narrow alley.

Very modern, clean and well looked after. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The staff were so helpful and friendly the setting was so beautiful and grounds were landscaped and cared for with an amazing eating area overlooking the river . It’s a little gem of a place and would recommend to anyone .

Great hotel, staff, food and area. Room was always clean, pool was always busy and luckily guests and staff were great with us and our toddler. Really helpful staff in all areas. Beach not far off and Alive markets round the corner. Seeing complaints about the beach but there is main access further along and you can walk to some pretty lovely sandy parts.

My wife and I rested at your hotel October 10-22, 2023, room No. 7494. We have previously vacationed in Khao Lak several times, in different hotels, and we can say with confidence that “The Leaf Oceanside by Katathani Resort” is a wonderful hotel, one of the best we have ever visited! Our impressions: Rooms: large, clean, equipped with everything you need (TV, refrigerator, air conditioning). The air conditioning worked great, no noise. We had a huge balcony overlooking the garden and pool. Large clean bathroom. Service: Every day room cleaning, replenishment of bottled water, tea and coffee. Bed linen is changed frequently. Every day replenishment of shampoo and shower gel, toilet paper, change of towels. Territory: large, well-groomed. Beautiful green lawns. Lots of palms and tropical trees. In the evening, treat the area against mosquitoes. Two swimming pools with fountains, sun loungers and umbrellas. The houses and grounds are quiet, calm and comfortable. Breakfast: served in the restaurant from 06:00 to 10:00. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, with many European and Asian dishes. Fruits, juices. Staff: beyond praise! The staff is very friendly, very responsive, very professional! They helped me find a bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday. Thanks a lot, everyone! Location from the center of the village – 600-700 meters. Restaurants, shops, massage parlors - all within walking distance. Beach: 150-200 meters to Nang Thong Beach. Excellent sandy beach with a gentle slope. Palm trees, magnolias, cassowary trees on the shore. A lighthouse in the sea diversifies the landscape. This beach is influenced by the tides. Deeper beaches are located 1-1.5 km to the right and left of Nang Thong Beach. Vacation impression: EXCELLENT! Our rating: 5 points out of 5! I recommend The Leaf Oceanside by Katathani Resort to everyone for a relaxing, measured holiday. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.

Breakfast was excellent. However, my dinner tasted quite light, still authentic but more suitable for foreigners.

Not the resorts fault but the inconsiderate people who insist in smoking in the non smoking areas, but full credit to staff who rectified it, but really why should they have to. thoughtless people.

The Staff at this resort are exceptional, they do everything to accommodate you. It is an older property, but that is not to say its lacking, it was wonderful stay, quiet, although we were in low season. Possibly a resort for more mature people, and that is us, there are no water slides, but 2 beautiful pools, no swim up bar if that's your thing, but the sit at bar is right next to the pool and the service delivering drinks to your pool lounge was great. The Green space and garden areas are beautiful and very well kept, we had many meals at the restaurant and all were great, overall a great stay, walk to Main Street in a few minutes, walk to massage 2 minutes and beach the same.

Very nice hotel. We stayed for 3 night in the bungalow room. The air conditioning works perfectly, the room was clean and the staff was very kind. The breakfast was perfect, they offered eggs, fruit’s, bacon, coffee juice lots of options. The diner menu is also good but more expensive than local restaurants. This hotel is not directly on the beach the access is great, only 2 minutes walk. 5 minute walking distance to the Main Street where you can find plenty of restaurants, places to rent scooters, etc. You can easily book day tours with the hotel or with the tourist stands to go to many places!
