Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyI asked for double bed but got twin.
The property consists of multiple bungalows and multiple houses. It is surrounded in a very nice and well maintained garden. The rooms are of different standards. The rooms with big promotion are located in an older building on a small hill. FYI there is caddy transporting provided on the property. There are no elevators in the building. Showers are great. The light in the bathroom is a bit dark. The breakfast is covering wide variety of choices. The beach is clean and nice to sit at, the mattresses could need some replacements. The fitness room is sufficient even so the equipment is not really maintained. The 3 pools are clean and nice to swim. All the stuff are smiling and friendly. Property is organizing transportation to various markets. They also organize a market on the beach sometimes.

NetherlandsIt’s all a bit old; the beds and mattresses near the pool and the beach, as well the way the beds are placed on the beach. It’s a great large beach and all the beds are just tucked away underneath a tree… Our room was spacious however; old furniture and it smelled moldy. We had the option for 2 other rooms but there were even worse. The coverage of the lamps beside the bed were broken. Pools where cleaned but still could have been cleaner; a lot of dead bugs in the kiddy pool for example The surroundings (the neighborhood) is very poor. All and all it felt as if we where in an all in resort in a not so cosy neighborhood
The breakfast is nice, and is the restaurant area; it’s remodeled in a nice way. Same for the gardens. The golf cars are very welcome! Saves a lot of energy and sweat ;) The viewing from our room was gorgeous! Wide and bright and we could see th beach. Also comfy beds. Pearl from reception is was the most welcome host we could have wished for.

United Arab EmiratesCant complain.
I love that I felt like I was in a tropical forest. The grounds are beautiful with loads of trees. The sounds of the birds and insects was amazing. The room was neat and very clean. Breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from and great coffee. The swim up beach bar was perfect, overlooking the ocean and beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants Friendly, helpful staff. Loved it there!

United KingdomThe family rooms are in a block which is up a steep hill and so is the reception. You get a golf cart to take you around but with a young family and a pram a golf cart isn’t practical as you have to take the child out, fold down the pram and then take it all out again when you arrive. Also, we requested a cot. Their cots are awful as they are very old and rickety. It also wasn’t great that they then put us on the 3rd floor with no lift. The pram needed to be carried up a lot of stairs.
Great pool especially for the kids.

United KingdomRestaurant/cafe prices not really competitive with prices in cafes/restaurants in the adjoining streets. A shame, because all of the restaurant/bar staff are very attentive and service minded….
Clean, well maintained public areas. Nicely landscaped gardens, excellent pool facilities for all ages…..baby/toddler pool, more private/sedate lagoon-style pool, beachside pool with swim-up bar. Excellent breakfast buffet Location on pristine Chaweng Noi beach

NetherlandsThe breakfast was not really tasteful and lacked some quality. A specific annoyance was the amount of guests “reserving” all best sun beds early in the morning by putting a towel on it, while using it hours later. And a piece of advice to the resort, please make the kids pool less slippery (especially at the water slides). Many kids slipped very badly.
Very green/lush and quite resort, sufficient distance from the buzzing street. Attractive accommodations with a wide variety of choices. Nice pool and direct acces to a nice beach. Great for families with young kids, especially because of the pool with multiple water slides.

ThailandUnfortunately, the hotel does not provide fannels, toothpaste, or toothbrushes, which I found extremely strange. Certain walkways could have been lit better as walking back to the cabin rooms late at night, many points you are in pitch black darkness. The cocktails and smoothies left a lot to be desired. Although priced well, they lacked taste, and I would not recommend them.
The location of the hotel is brilliant. The pools, fitness centre and beach front are all excellent. The food was also great here and well priced for those who do not fancy venturing out as much. For those like myself who do plan to get put and about, it's a prime stop, situated just around the corner from the main strip if you fancy a walk (the road is very long though) or a taxi ride away. The staff were fantastic and the hotel itself was very pleasant. You can rent bikes easily, order taxis, and there is a 7/11 literally a 2 minute walk to the left of the hotel. The beach front gets a 10 out of 10 rating from me!

FranceIt’s a bit shabby but the hotel does a decent work to keep the facilities in good condition.
Very good deal for the price you pay. The resort is located in a quiet/family-friendly area of Chaweng Noi beach, has a private access to the beach. It’s a big resort surrounded by beautiful garden, has several swimming pools including the one for kids. It’s a very nice and relaxing place, very suitable for families or people who are looking for serenity and a nice beach vacation.

NetherlandsThe pool is a bit rusty and the door to balcony was not properly closing which caused a lot of mosquitos to come into the room.
Good service. They pick you up with a golf cart to the beach, lobby or hotel room. Nice pools and nice beach. Breakfast is also very variated and dinner is also recommended with nice live music near the beach.

United Arab EmiratesI believe that this resort needs a bit of maintenance to keep a fresher look. Specifically, I refer to our room, it smelled a bit of humidity and some walls needed painting. Also, the breakfast could have healthier options.
The location and the jungle nature at the resort are the highlights.

United StatesThe hotel is great but it all comes down to personal preferences. In my experience, this Hotel felt to me too quiet, isolated, and the guests were all mostly mature or for families and "mature vibes". The area/location is not easy at all to walk around, and there's not much to do or see here close to the hotel. I don't like this for myself, as nice as quiet and private sound, I prefer more activity, more people to enjoy the vacation with, and more comfortable/closer places to visit and not just stay inside the hotel. The location is just too isolated, far, and not surrounded by fun places that are easy to visit. Car transport is always needed. I would have been disappointment to stay more days mostly because of this. No complaints at all about the staff, rooms, cleanliness, etc.
Excellent staff and customer service! The staff is wonderful (very professional) and the Hotel itself is pretty impressive and HUGE. It is massive. 8/10 for 3 reasons: Reason #1: The king bed was just two-single beds put together to make 1 bed, and while the beds were comfortable, we did not like that 2 beds had to be pushed together to make 1. Maybe they did this to help us get a room faster (we were there very early and they accommodated us immediately, huge props for that!), but we did not ask or complain as we were staying there just 1 night. Reason #2: I don't understand the real prices for this hotel. I'll say this: We got our room at an amazing discount deal, but, had we payed the original full prices for the rooms, well... I honestly would have been very upset. I don't think it should be that expensive when I compare it to way-less luxury hotels. Reason #3: Overall location (too far & secluded). The hotel and rooms are huge, clean, very pretty, surrounded by nature, and fun to walk around. The pools are also interesting and can be fun. The staff and service was exceptional. They behaved above and beyond to assist. Overall, if you want a private beach in a more secluded and discreet area not close to center of the town nor with a lot of people around to interact with, this place is for you. Personally, I felt isolated and like everything was too far for us. It did not help that the weather was a little aggressive this day making the ocean extremely dangerous and impossible to enjoy. We could not swim in the beach because the waves were extremely powerful and violent. This is not the hotel's fault as I hear this private beach was beautiful with crystal clear water, but unfortunately the weather did not let us see any of that. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you are looking for an isolated, private, discreet, quiet, and more of a "mature-vibe" and family oriented place.
