Perfect Stay at AVA Resort We had an absolutely amazing stay at the AVA Resort! The hotel staff were exceptional—always attentive, incredibly friendly, and super helpful throughout our entire visit. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. One of the most convenient aspects was that the hotel organized scooters and taxis for us, including our ride to the ferry. This made our checkout process incredibly smooth and stress-free. The resort itself is beautifully designed, with lots of attention to detail. Our room was spotless, bright, and had a stunning view of the sea. Since the resort is located on the west coast, we got to enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. It was truly the perfect way to end each day. What we also loved was that the resort is situated just slightly outside the busy areas, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. But if you do want to get into town, it’s only a 5-minute scooter ride to downtown. So you get the best of both worlds—tranquility and easy access to all the local attractions. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we wholeheartedly recommend AVA Resort to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing vacation!

The bathroom wasn't the nicest compared to the quality of the room. The cafe could have also served a bit more and been a bit better equipped for the quality of the hotel and the pool it serves.

The location and the views in the hotel were amazing and as advertised. The pool was great and the staff were lovely, responsive and informative. The overall vibe and small nature of the hotel made it feel special.

Nothing! We absolutely loved it!

We loved the ava hotel! We stayed for 10 days but could have stayed for longer. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are wonderful with the most stunning view and the infinity pool is amazing. It was never busy and often felt like you had the place to yourself. We will definitely be returning! It is close enough to walk into the busyness of sairee beach but equally far enough away to be super quiet.

I wouldn't see a real problem there. The balcony was not swiped but after telling it to the reception it was done very fast.

It was simply amazing. Great welcome at the reception, the room and the view was amazing. It was super comfortable and relaxing to stay there. I would come again.

It was pretty quiet so lacked a bit of atmosphere but the hotel can't be blamed for this- just something to note. A bit more upbeat music around the pool area might have helped as it was quite quiet acoustic music everyday. The hotel doesn't serve any food or alcohol however they are linked really well with the local restaurants so it's really easy to get things delivered, again wasn't a massive problem but just something to be aware of if you like having a pool bar/restaurant on site. They are located about a 20 minute walk to Sairee beach. This was fine walking there in the evenings as it's all downhill but we didn't walk back any of the nights we stayed as it is a really steep hill and no pavement so didn't feel overly safe in the dark.

The hotel is so lovely. The pool area is beautiful and the room was really clean and cool with fantastic views!!! The staff were lovely and really helpful. They have a taxi service they suggest to use which will pick you up if you WhatsApp them and we found they did the best rates (200 Baht for a pick up at Sairee to the hotel). We would definitely stay here again.

The chairs on the balcony we had were horrible so uncomfortable but it wasn’t a big deal maybe better chairs could be used !

This resort was fantastic. The views were amazing and we loved the quality of service in the resort. We were happy to walk down to the town and hire facilities were in walking distance for those who want to hire bikes (as we did). There are plenty of options for food in the main town, which is only a 10 minute walk down the hill. The pool view of the sunset is incredible.

Our favourite accommodation when travelling around Thailand. It’s in the perfect location, 6 min or so ride from the main strip. The staff are so lovely & helpful, beautiful idyllic views from the pool. Everything about AVA Resort is perfect. I’d 100% recommend to stay here if in Koh Tao.

Prior to checking in I spoke with the hotel via their social media page and arranged a taxi from the pier. Very straight forward and the taxi was waiting. From the moment I checked in, I knew I’d made the right choice booking this place. The place is immaculate. The staff are amazing and friendly and the view from the room. Wow! Our room was stunning and super clean. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but you are immediately given the hotel what’s app number and you are sent various menu’s for local restaurants that deliver. I really liked this concept. The hotel what’s app is very responsive and answered any questions I had within minutes. The busy area is around 2-3 minutes on a motorbike. Perfect distance away for us. I will certainly return to this hotel.
