View from the room was not nice. There were not light switchs near the bed. You have to get up and switch off the lights before sleeping. Not good for reader sleepers. Beds can be softer. But these are minor things for me.

Style is great. Location is great. Staff is friendly, helpful. Clean.

Thapae Loft is well located in the old city area of Chiang Mai. The staff were attentive and helpful. They were able to access some well priced, fantastic tours. Staff also called card and taxis for us.

There were 2 funny things: - The power outlets behind the bed didn't work if the lights were out - the temperature in the shower was hard to control

The bathroom floor was a bit greasy but didn’t bother me as I only stayed one night.

It’s is in a quiet area yet right in the center close to the markets and all the temples. Will definitely come back!

Wifi on the 4th floor was often spotty but it seemed to work well elsewhere.

The location is wonderful near the night market and not far from the East Gate (Thapae Gate). The room was spacious, clean and modern, and we loved being able to use the bikes to get around Chiang Mai! The staff was friendly and the pool area refreshing in the hot afternoon.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Very clean, with helpful staff. We loved the security guard at night. We can also really recommend the vegetarian restaurant next door. The hotel provided everything we needed, it’s industrial in style which wasn’t an issue, but just an FYI. The rooms are spacious. The bed is comfortable. The pool area is more of a gesture of a pool but we didn’t mind that as Chiang Mai had so much to offer!

Pool was very chilly!

Location was quiet and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants around… including vegan and organic. The room was cleaned everyday and fresh water and towels if you so wished. No breakfasts at the hotel but it was so easy to find a variety of good eating places within 1-5 minutes walk ( with children!). Decor was austere, dark with ceiling/walls of concrete with piping on show! It had a warehouse/ factory feel but not unpleasant! The staff very very very helpful! The bird used to tap on the window in room 301 every morning at about 7:30! What a wonderful wake up call!! Great lift and AC

Great location. Walking distance to everything but in the quieter part of town . A couple of good restaurants just around the corner . There’s a cute little bar van sitting outside the reception area along with a few outside tables and chairs .

Nothing available to eat when leaving on very early trips. Make sure you get your own food / snacks as there is nothing provided and no shops open close by!

Fantastic location - close to many markets, temples Complimentary bikes to get around town Rooms are cool and have amazing air-conditioning! Nice pool area - towels provided. Absolutely wonderful staff - the reception team were so helpful and friendly. They helped with tours, transportation and were very kind.

I don't think anything could have been better-- the price, location, and experience were great!

The location of the hotel is great--just steps away from coffee shops, restaurants, and the Sunday evening Night Market. My room was spacious, clean, and even though I loved exploring Chiang Mai, I enjoyed being able to come back and lounge in my cozy room after walking around all day. The hotel staff was so helpful and attentive. Such a great experience overall!

Staff is super friendly and facility is very clean. It is right in the heart of town, making it a convenient location, yet still quiet. The pool is always clean.
