GermanyI have the following suggestions for improvement, but these are not negative criticisms: The beach is quite small and freely accessible to other guests on the island. They either use the sandy beach as a sunbathing area or, as observed in one case, one of the hotel's own sun loungers. The sign that these are reserved for hotel guests was ignored and nobody on the staff noticed. Since there are not many sun loungers anyway, either additional ones should be set up and the staff should have an overview of who is lying on the sun lounger. We didn't have a sun lounger for the whole stay as they were always occupied. Another comment would be to expand the breakfast menu. The selection is quite limited and from the third day onwards you would like a bit more variety. These are suggestions for improvement for the future.
Out of over 50 hotel reviews here on Booking so far, today is the first time I'm giving it a 10 and therefore full marks for a review. This extraordinary small hotel with incredibly hard-working and friendly staff gave us a truly dreamlike and unforgettable vacation. Each room is in its own bungalow, all of which have a balcony or terrace with a sea view. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished, but that was more than enough for us, because the big highlight of this resort is the coral reef and white sandy beach right on the doorstep. This beach is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach on the island, quiet and perfect for snorkeling and swimming. A big advantage is that there are no long-tail boats here, so peace and quiet is guaranteed. The hotel's restaurant is excellent with a wide selection of local and international dishes and drinks. It really was a perfect stay and we will be back!

AustraliaIt is located a little away from the main walking street - I suggest getting a tuk tuk back in the evenings as the road winds through some bushland with poor lighting so very dark at night.
Great location, comfy rooms. The resort is located right above two beautiful little beaches. Great meals and drinks from the onsite restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying here.

CanadaThe mattress was hard like a rock so I didn’t sleep very well. Seems to be a common thing in Thailand. If I were to return to Ko Lipe I would only stay at Ten Moons, they had the best location and set up compared to all the other hotels (actually felt like a private beach). The other beaches are filled with long tail boats at the shore.
Best location on the island, welcoming and kind staff, relaxing atmosphere, good restaurant, beautiful little beach. We stayed in bungalow #3 facing the beach it was so peaceful hearing the sound of the waves from our room. Free Rental equipment for snorkelling a huge plus considering you were able to snorkel just off the shore.

MalaysiaThe quality of the pillows and towels was not great. But this did not detract from our stay too much.
First of all the staff are amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Always there to support, guide and cheer you on for your day. Secondly, the food is really great. A good variety on the menu and always high quality. Breakfast is a la carte but no limit and great choices. Thirdly, the location is stunning. About the only place boats are not parked in front on the beach. We stayed in the beach front bungalow and this was perfect. 155 steps to the road though.

Ten Moons is a very special place, on the best beach in Koh Lipe. The staff are wonderful, the breakfasts are outstanding and the Thai curries are superb (all the food/drinks looked top quality). Our room was beautifully designed and decorated, in a mix of traditional materials with modern touches and a spacious balcony with view of the sea. We loved the plastic free fresh water, dedicated fast Wi-Fi along with the combination of air con, ceiling fan and high level extractor fan which cooled the room down really quickly. The bed was very comfortable and the room had lots of storage. While the rest of Koh Lipe is suffering to some extent from overdevelopment, Ten Moons is an oasis. It is hard to fault anything hence the perfect score!
