ANTS!!! Lots and lots and lots of ants everywhere! I understand that this is camping and insects and such are expected but the entire place was just taken over by hundreds of ants crawling everywhere, all over the floor, the coffee table, walls, inside the picture frames, literally everywhere. Big shame because when it came to dinner and breakfast you have to eat it in your room with these ants crawling everywhere and onto your plates. Something really should be done about this to minimise them. The bathroom is really beautiful but if you’re going to put in such a big 2 person bubble bath in there then also make sure that the water pressure is good enough to fill it. It took over an hour to fill it and by the time it was filled the water was just stone cold! No possibility for a nice warm bubble bath. Bear in mind the location is middle of nowhere, you rather need a car or organised transport to get there and especially back. We were lucky to get a ‘grab’ taxi to take us there from the village but when we checked out and wanted to book another grab there was nothing available for our 1 hour of efforts to find one. The staff also informed us that there are no local taxis around here and it was basically on us however we get out of there. So we had to walk for almost 3 hours to the village in the blazing heat with our backpacks.

Like many people mentioned the road is noisy and taints the jungle feeling a little bit. It's also worth knowing that there is not much in walking distance. However, you can book lots of tours through them and order dinner to your tent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

There was nothing we really didn’t like. You should be aware, that it’s really „glamping“ in the nature with all its wildlife. Mosquito repellents are a must and are offered by the resort in a small amount. There are nearly no shops in walkable distance, so you should be prepared. Also it can get a bit noisy. But they have oropax prepared next to the beds. For us, it was a great experience and we enjoyed it.

The tent was perfect for keeping in the luggage and all stuff inside and even had an aircon. The bed was more comfortable than expected. Breakfast was served to the „room“. There was not really any options to choose from, but we liked the surprise very much. You can tell them before if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. We really enjoyed the hot pot in the room the first evening. Best thing was the super friendly and helpful stuff. Also the coffee as well as the other beverages at the cafe were absolutely delicious.

Many people have mentioned this but the road noise, we stayed in the tent nearest the road and it was loud with lorries and trucks however I did not find this a significant issue and my partner used the earplugs provided by the staff :)

The staff at Tanoshi was outstanding!! They were extraordinary in their friendliness and the service, they helped us with last minute transports and an ATV tour and really went out of their way for us. This was the best stay during our Thailand trip. The rooms are amazing and so special! We had an amazing view and our dinner at the room which was delicious. Breakfast was also served in the room. The coffee is also really good! Overall the stay at Tanoshi was a dream come true for a night in nature. The beds were so comfortable and the room was luxurious. The staff however was what will be our favorite thing about the stay. We were actually so sad we had to leave. We will definitely come back next time !

I can understand why people complain about car noises. In Tanoshi hotel, there is 3 glamping houses and we were in the third one (with round bubble bath). We heard very little car noises and it was private and comfortable. But the first house is few meters from the road and you can see and hear the cars very good. And also the first housr is not so private. Third house is perfect!

Definitely most special hotel where i have been in! Japanese dinner was also a great experience. We booked the room with bubble bath and we enjoyed it very much. Loved the sunset!

The road is close by, which actually didn't bother us at all once we got into the space, but as a first impression it was a little worrisome.

Definitely the best breakfast we had in Thailand, maybe ever. Absolutely delicious cinnamon french toast and fruit, plus the view was unbeatable.

Everything was perfect and the staff went above and beyond, they are simply the best. Such a peaceful and beautiful place with an amazing cafe as well. We ordered the hot pot for dinner, which was brought to our room, more than enough for two people. The breakfast is the best breakfast we have had in a long time. There was also snacks left for us in the yurt which were much appreciated. Cannot recommend this place enough and could not complain about anything if I wanted to.

There was no airco, although the description says it it, but we managed perfectly with the fan.

This location is MAGIC. Very friendly staff, good dinner and breakfast and perfect facilities. I would definitely stay here again!

Tanoshi exceeded our expectations completely. The room facilities are like something I've never experienced, the food was top class but most important the staff were amogst some of the kindest and most helpful we came accorss in all of our travels to Thailand. Truly 5 stars!!

As peaceful as the area is, unfortunately we had the tent right next to the big street where there's quite a few cars, motorbikes and trucks passing frequently. The host can't change it of course, but for a perfect stay we'd have wished for more quietness.

We are in love with this place! The host is incredibly nice and offers an amazing variety of coffee (best on our whole trip) and pastry in his cafe just above the sleeping area. Our tent was very comfortable to sleep in, especially with the AC and offered ear plugs. The room was spacious and outside in the living area you'd even have a clothing rack, fridge and a cute living room area. We spent the whole stay just in our tent area, it was cozy and peaceful with a beautiful view over the jungle in Khao Sok. Dinner can be ordered too and a wonderful breakfast is served right to your space. If you can live with the noise from the street, we'd definitely recommend this place for you.

The facilities at the stay were amazing. Bathroom was spacious and clean with all desired toiletries. We had hot pot for dinner, which was fantastic and complementing the evening views from the site. Tents were very cozy and contained little snacks to munch at night. Staff was very polite and cordial, and prompt to attend to us in case of any request or query.

Beautiful view from tent, lounge and bath. Delicious food and a yummy breakfast was included. Perfect spot to do day trips from eg bamboo rafting and elephant bathing. Excellent aircon and fan inside tent portion. Very comfy bed - not rock hard like most we have encountered. Great price. Would recommend to a friend and stay again without doubt.

Very friendly owner, he gave us a lift to the Village when all restaurants near by where closed. Japanese vibe is so visible and nice. Location is on the side but its very quite thanks to that. Breakfast served to the room was very good, especially coffee. Its a shame we had no time to stay longer
