Great location, clean room with comfortable balcony. Lots of small vendors in the streets surrounding and gets busier as you near Khao San road. We had a bus booked to Koh Chang the following day and pick up was literally 3 doors down.

I didn't like the initial single bedroom that I stayed in. It was just not a good room if I wasn't so tired I wouldn't of stayed there Another thing that I noticed is that my room was not cleaned on a daily basis on my third day I had to actually ask for fresh towels and a mat. I also noticed that there was no kettle.

Despite initially having low expectations for the Khao San road area, Tanee Place pleasantly surprised me. The reception area was welcoming with its simple and straightforward layout. Upon entering my room, 204, I noticed that the layout felt a bit cramped and dated, with a single bed to the right, a small fridge directly ahead, and a compact shower and toilet to the left. Although the space seemed superficially clean, the presence of water stains on the walls detracted from its overall appeal, giving it a slightly neglected feel. However, despite these minor issues, I was still able to appreciate the efforts made to maintain cleanliness. After speaking with management I was offered a different room which I accepted at an increased rate. This was a far superior 503 room with a double bed large windows with a balcony allowing natural sunlight to bathe the room. The differences between the two rooms couldn't be more apparent. I feel like this should've been what I walked into initially as opposed to the single room. Would I stay here again? yes however with a caveat I would only stay in a Queen bed room.

If you are 2 people you must order a deluxe. Standard double is only ok for single traveller and even then it’s very very small.

Great location, very cheap private room. Right next to bed station hostel if you want to use the bar there and I meet people. Staff very friendly. Beds are hard but I don’t mind that.
