We absolutely loved our stay at Suntisook. The private resort cabins are immaculate and beautifully designed. The staff is phenomenal. We got to meet different members of the family and each one was delightful. They booked a Hong Island trip with a local guide for us that was fabulous. They have an on-site motorbike and pedal bike rental of good quality bikes. We spent four days exploring the island on motorbikes. It’s definitely the way to see the beauty of the island and find secret beaches, sunsets, massages, and restaurants. The food at the resort was excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and E’s recommendations were delicious. The breakfast was yummy as well. The view of the Bay from the bungalow was gorgeous. There is a beach across the road from the resort. You can only swim there at full tide, however, there are plenty of other good beaches nearby.

Amazing location, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable with a nice balcony space to relax on during the day. Food at the onsite restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The island is also beautiful.

The owners are super nice! The place is cosy and has amazing views! The house we rented was big, super clean and comfortable - I highly recommend this place! You can rent a scooter at the property and there is nice restaurant nearby.

We’ve stayed at Suntisook for the second time and can’t rate it highly enough. The location on Yao Noi with a view of the small islands and rocks of Phang Nha Bay is stunning. The bungalows are decorated tastefully and the spacious verandas are perfect for spending some lazy hours. Super friendly and helpful owner family and very good restaurant. Our recommendations: Massaman curry, mango smoothie and local fried fish. We’d love to come back very much!

The road runs right past the property. Most of the time it is rather quiet, but at certain hours there was quite a bit of traffic.

The staff were attentive and very welcoming. The view from our cottage was great: beautiful sunrise every morning.

There were many jellyfish in the ocean al around Koh Yai Noi.

It is a small property run by a friendly and charming family. All of the cottages are simple but beautiful. The restaurant served delicious Thai food. We rented a scooter from them and explored the whole island.

I stayed 9 nights at this lovely place with my friend while attending a course nearby ( walking distance to Yoga island Center ). So many highlights to mention. The owner - Mr.E - was always positive, super helpful with tips & suggestions about anything we asked. The bungalows are beautifully facing sunrise and the sea with the stunning views is just across the small road. You can also rent motorbike on site. The buffet breakfast was perfect with yummy mango pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee … we LOVED the food here for lunch and dinner too! Fried bananas are a must try - crunchy on the outside and sweet & soft on the inside ). Overall, really good value considering the location, views, the quality of the food and the accommodation. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect. The bungalows are set in beautifully maintained gardens and overlooking the beach. The restaurant was excellent, the food never disappointed. And the staff, especially Mr E were lovely and courteous. It is a family owned and run resort and it really shows. They absolutely care about their guests.

Couldn't fault anything.

Honestly couldn't meet nicer or friendlier owners, it was like seeing friends at the end of the day when sitting down for dinner. The food was as good as any we had on the island. Beautiful cottage and the location was excellent although on the quieter side of the island. Had umm'd and erred about renting a scooter having had little prior experience but was put at ease by E who let us practice on the sand before taking to the road. They also facilitated taxi's/boat trips etc etc so super helpful for a relaxing stay.

Very minor. How to deal with sandy feet from the beach before going into your bungalow? I had some bottles of tap water on hand to rinse the sand off but maybe put a small water butt at the bottom of the stairs to the bungalows to get rid of the sand.

Location: a quiet part of a quiet island with great view of the beach, sea and karst islands, surrounded by nature. Accommodation: bungalow was spacious, clean, had AC, had mosquito net and not crammed together with the neighbours' bungalows. Balcony overlooking the garden/beach/sea was great. Enjoyed breakfast and had several Thai evening meals at the restaurant. Bike hire easy - just grab a bike an go although there are some hills to tackle in places. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted me with all of my inquiries. I looked around at some of the other bungalows on the East side and liked this one the best.

Wonderful place and super nice owners of it. Bungalow was very cozy and clean. Breakfast was tasty and rich. Food in restaurant was really delicious. We will return to this place next time when traveling to Thailand.

This place is wonderful. Run by a fantastic family, very kind people who helped us with everything; we even had a scooter riding lesson. It's a fantastic spot on an incredibly peaceful island. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the cleanliness deserves special recognition. All amenities make you want to spend the entire day on the terrace with this beautiful view. Be sure to try the food at Suntisook Restaurant! It was absolutely phenomenal! We already miss it! Thank you very much for everything!
