No notification about the building work taking place next door - ruined the relaxed pool vibe without earphones and woke us up a little early. We are pragmatic guests so understand that in a growing Ao Nang some construction is likely and it is not entirely the hotels fault, but it would have been nice to have a heads up and perhaps proactive complements to ease concern e.g ear plugs. Perhaps check this before your next stay if this would be a huge problem for you.

Great, modern room with a nice separate space between bathroom / changing area and bedroom - good A/C too. Nice simple pool area with beds. Good location far enough from main strip to have its own quaint little restaurants / bars but close enough if you wanted to walk to it.

Everything about Sugar Marina Hotel CLIFFHANGER Aonan was perfect! Lovely staff, clean hotel, beautiful surroundings, nice swimming pool, amazing location. Upon arrival we got a room upgrade without even asking. The rooms we got were on the 7th floor, very spacious and perfect.

Shower pressure could be better after all day out in the sea.

Rustic feel. Clean. Room is big. We had 1 king bed and single bed. Balcony. Breakfast spread was good. Its halal according to the staff. Nearby mosque, plenty of halal restaurants and food stalls nearby. Laundry and 7-11 just down the hill. (Our room was in new block up the hill) .

After 1st hr of checking in, we ran into some luggage problem, Sugar Marina attended to us and managed to settle efficiently. Being our honeymoon, they gave us a room with the best view of ao nang. Super love!! The staffs were super friendly greeting any patrons at the lobby.

Aircon didnt work upon checking in at 10:30pm. Had to wait until 12 to get things sorted and swapped room. Was not easy after a long journey and was absolutely flat out tired.

I loved staying here, the rooms are lovely, staff are great and very helpful 😊 The pool is amazing, and a beautiful view of the sunset. I would definitely recommend here, and I'd definitely stay again. You can also hire a bike from the hotel. Perfect location and great iced coffee over the road 😋

• The nearly 45° slope to the main lobby, was ridiculously tiring and unexpected. Most of the tuktuk unable to send us up, due to that steep slope. • The room should install more lights, especially in the mid-room as it was quite dim coming to night time & hard time to eat on bed. • Should install brighter lights along the room corridor, it's quite eerie when it comes to night time as it looks dim along the corridors. • Staff can be more professional in the near future.

• The room was surprisingly spacious. Showering & cubicle backsplash made the toilet look spectacular along with the landscape mirror. • The view was breathtaking from our Deluxe Room, Cliff View. • Bed was comfortable, the pillows weren't that firm so it's great to sleep it on.
