Every part of this hotel and our experience was incredible. The hotel, the rooms, the balcony, the garden, the beach view, the pools, the food, the breakfast, the staff- all of it was indescribable. The worst part about this hotel was having to check out at the end of our stay. We will absolutely be back- we can't wait!

Like the Centara Grand live up to is name, it was grand, style full and charismatic. We love the garden pool, it was quite there.

I paid extra for a room with a pool view but my room didn't have the view.

Breakfast was excellent. Lot of choice. Room was clean and overall the hotel was well maintained and beautiful. Location is also good. There are massages and restaurants near the hotel. Night market was a bit too far. Just a short walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and kind.

True hospitality feeling in a historical, yet modern hotel with huge parks Best 5* hotel in Thailand for an amazing price. Very central location, though directly on the beach. Housekeeping passes 4 x per day to prepare for each moment of the day. General manager passes by to get to know you and give visiting tips. Although restaurants are of high quality, very fair pricing. Breakfast plenty of choice and freshly made.

We had 4 rooms in the garden building and the very last of the building, so it was a very long walk to the main building. Almost no electrical outlet in the room. The waitress hosted at the breakfast, was anything but welcoming. At our last breakfast morning the chef on the egg station was hostile and completely rude, and in general the breakfast staff, was unmotivated and redundant.

Close to the centrum, the Garden pool was nice and quiet. The Hotel has a very old charm and still.

It is perfect.

Worth every baht I paid. This is one of the nicest hotels/resorts I have ever stayed in (I've stayed in hundreds for work or leisure). The staff are so friendly and genuine. The resort itself is designed for relaxation, in a stunning colonial style, with a number of secret spots that you may discover during your stay. We stayed in a beautiful pool villa and had Club access, which was a nice extra to enjoy delicious food and drink during our time here. The Spa was lovely and our son - six years old - insisted on two kids massages! Breakfast was exceptional, too. Will definitely return here. Stunning.

We liked everything.. We had a pool villa suite which was great & spacious but the villas are in need of modernisation. I just hope renovation does not take away their charm.

The rooms were a little tiered especially the bathroom with the shower over the bath, we had issues with the lock that had to be fixed and the bed was too hard, we requested a topper that helped somewhat. The aircon needed to have more controls on the aircon as it was to full on when on low.

The location was amazing, I loved the gardens and the colonial feel of the hotel.
