It takes 50 min ride on the bike to all seashore beaches - be prepared for that. Google maps drive you to a bad direction - probably can be fixed by the host

The woman that runs the place is so friendly. She's 70 years old and has the energy of a 20-year-old. I didn't really know what she was talking about but I loved her spirit.

Check in took about 2 hours. It was the only place in Thailand I didn't take my shoes off. It was so laughably dirty. When I asked to clean up, a lady in my presence just waved the broom in the air without touching the floor in a couple of places. It was surreal.

I booked 3 nights at Siray House but unfortunately, I’ve had to check out after 2. This is for various reasons and the language barrier as well as absence from reception when I needed to speak to the host. Night 1, we arrived at the place at the time we had estimated we would arrive, and waited in reception for 25 minutes before we were seen to. The bedsheets were stained and smelt. I think someone had previously been sick and the wash hadn’t removed the evidence. The toilets were badly stained, on the inside and out. Day 1, shower had only cold water, the shower drain is blocked, the bathroom sink waste is leaking. Day 2, shower had hot water but initially had red sandy water before it became clear. We left on day 2 at 10:45. Bearing in mind we had backpacked through Vietnam and Cambodia through to Thailand, this place cost the most and was the least pleasant of the trip.

The location was in the middle of nowhere but the views around were green and lovely.

Location wasn't at all ideal but we should have researched that better prior to booking.

The lady who owns the accommodations is a retired nurse and was so friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately when we booked, we didn't realize how far it was from most activities that we were interested in. We ended up only staying one night and she very graciously refunded the rest of our stay.

Middle of nowhere nothing & I mean nothing to do even if you have a car or bike. Miles from anything for entertainment. So TV not working. If it was working ( whole hotel no TV ) would have been ok but for price not worth the money. Owner refunded 2 of 3 days thankfully but location not great.

It's a long walk to a good restaurant, but you can borrow a bicycle to get around. There's a beach in bicycling distance.

This is the nicest place I've stayed in Thailand, and the cleanest place I've ever stayed after four years of perpetual travel. The owner, Khun Sunee, is a retired nurse, so she keeps everything super clean. She and her husband, Khun Watchala, are kind and generous. One time, a guest forgot his wallet, so they drove a half hour to get it to him so he wouldn't miss his boat. Full disclosure, I lived here for four months before the pandemic, and just stayed here this time with Booking so I could write a review and let you all know how great they are.
