It was all virtually positive. There was some loud noise from the temple a couple of nights but that would have disrupted every accommodation in Thong Sala.

I've never had a more accommodating host. Any small or large request he would address within the hour. This is unheard of in my experience with booking.com. He also let me and my family borrow some high quality bike helmets, gave me an extra bed for the room free of charge and also introduced me to some great people upon my request. I could not recommend Secret garden more. Honestly I felt the rooms were highly undervalued.

The aircon in the room could be a bit more powerful as it was hard to cool down the room.

Nice resort with pool and common areas. Wifi across all the property. We work remotely and we had no issues at all with the connection. Nice pool area (also with WIFI) open all day. Really quiet surroundings and property in general (was expecting more noise, was a positive surprise) Nice kitchen with everything needed for a short stay (from stove to boiler and fridge, as well as a kitchen table with 4 chairs)

Location is great, close to the pier and food markets. Really quiet area at night. Room was super clean and Charlie was an amazing host, greeted us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. He arranged for a moped to be delivered so it was very convenient and also sorted taxis for us.

It was a bit far from most of the activities, and places to visit. Bathroom didn't have soap or shampoo, no bath curtain. Room wasn't cleaned daily

Great bungalow, spacious, clean, quiet, owner was very helpful and kind. He helped me wity renting a scooter and made sure it was waiting for me until i got there. Very recommended.

I had a very nice, spacy, solid build, elevated on pilar sitting Bungalow. it was shaded under trees, all the days I never had to open AirCon. There is even a small kitchen room attached where you could prepare your breakfast. For any questions and assistance, the hotel owner is not always on site, but he is always available by WhatsApp Chat. Further the friendly couple who runs the restaurant (open ~10:00am to evening) share useful infos and tipps. I could really recommend this resort for anybody (singles, couples and families with small kids) who likes a quiet, clean, well managed place. For Restaurants and Taxis you need to walk about 400 m to the main road.

Secret garden was an **exceptional** stay for what it was in price and facilities compared to many other places in Thailand!! Lots of space and room, nice pool, and great neighbours and people. The room I had was stocked with a kitchen, massive bed, massive fridge and great aircon. This isn't a party place or anything - it's super chill vibes with lots of gardens, a pool, pool table, etc. It's close to Thong Sala, and a great spot to land and find your way to other parts close by and on the island. Charlie the owner/host was awesome - super helpful and friendly guy, and I really got to know him and the other guests whilst staying. Really grateful I landed here - thanks mate :)

My bungalow happened to be near an elementary school, so I was awoken fairly early on most weekdays, but I think most of the other bungalows would be quieter.

My bungalow was quite spacious and had a sort of classic wooden interior, which I liked, and it was great to have a kitchen inside. The manager was very helpful with answering all my questions and assisting me in renting a motorbike, and he let me check out late on the day I was leaving. The property is conveniently located within walking distance of Thong Sala, while the food at the restaurant inside the resort is tasty.

Charlie was an outstanding host! He couldn’t do enough for me and my friend…. He helped us rent motorbikes, gave brilliant recommendations for the island which we really enjoyed. He even added a special touch for my friends birthday which really added to our stay. At checkout he came to make sure everything was okay, this place has everything you need and is only a short walk away from the nightlife of the street. The pool was also great and we enjoyed swimming in it!

I liked it. What I expected. Clean cozy swimmingpool with good area for relax. Every room is like a hut within a jungle.. still gated and safe. 5-10 minute walk to the area where the saturday nighmarket is and restaurants.

It’s a shame the restaurant on site was closed for the duration of our stay, a moped is needed to get around due to location of the accommodation, lots of ants nests around the apartment.

We absolutely loved our stay in Secret Garden, and are so glad we came across this gem for our stay in Koh Phangan. The property is well located in Thong Sala, within walking distance from all of the main shops, cafes and restaurants. The owner Charlie is super friendly and helpful, and helped to organise a birthday surprise for my girlfriend during our stay at a local seaside restaurant with balloons, candles and cake all organised by Charlie who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Charlie also was kind enough to give us a lesson on how to drive a scooter/bike for free and then organised the hire and return for us. He made everything extremely easy during our stay and was always on hand to help. Nit’s Restaurant is located within Secret Garden and serves delicious food for a great price. Nit is extremely friendly and kind and we were so glad to have such a great restaurant nearby where we had both breakfast and dinner. Overall, couldn’t have been happier with our stay, and will definitely return in the future and recommend Secret Garden to all friends and family. Best place for the price on the island, go for it!

it was quiet and away from the main strip but only 5 min walk. so peaceful and the pool was stunning. Charlie was amazing and answered all our questions and booked our transport.

I stayed in Secret Garden for 5 days and it definitely worths it. The place is a small heaven filled with little birds singing in the morning. Most of all the owner is great, not only he will arrange everything for you to enjoy your stay (moped rental, taxi, one day trip, you name it) but he is also very friendly. Finally, the restaurant offers tasty and affordable meals and Nit, the cook, is also lovely. I highly recommend!
