    Nothing. Everything was great!

The property was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. It had great air conditioning and wifi. The staff were super nice and friendly. Breakfast was basic but served with love each morning. Clothes were washed, dried and ironed for a very reasonable price.

there is a only cash guarantee of 300 bhat for the key, which is not mentioned anywhere on the website or the booking. that by itself is not an issue but i would prefer to know it (esp. since after checking out was my last day in Thailand). you have to pick a breakfast time and what to eat the previous day, which is kind of limiting, albet understandable for the size of the hotel. the pool looks okay, but seems very packed in between the reception and rooms, did not use it.

very affordable hotel in the edge of the old city (you can walk everywhere). quite new facilities in the rooms. water bottles available. wifi very fast. breakfast okay. staff is nice and work hard, which feels better than impersonal hotels.

The walls are so thin, you can hear absolutely everything in the rooms beside you. The rooms are also quite small & the pool wasn’t open one day we were there.

The beds were so comfortable & the pool was really nice! Good location & reception offered to book absolutely everything for us!

The inside-courtyard facing rooms don't have much of a view and can get dark. The room vibe is important to me as a solo traveller spending time alone. I refused the previous room, and then got a better one.

The rooms facing the outside are really good. The breakfast spread was lovely and thoughtful. The staff at the front desk is sweet and accommodating.

The only thing - if you have blonde hair be careful of the pool! The pool water turned both of our hair green after the first swim.

We felt like we were treated as if we were royalty. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. The kind staff members made sure we were happy at all times and even requested we book activities through sathu hotel which meant we would get free transportation to the event. Our room was made up every day - beds made, bathroom cleaned, fresh free waters and bins cleared. Our laundry was able to be washed, dryed, and ironed (most times handed to us the same day) - smelling so clean and fragrant!! The location was perfectly situated in the old town. There are bikes for hire at sathu hotel this was probably one of our best choices as it makes sight seeing a lot more fun - we felt safe at all times on the road. Having a pool at our accommodation really helped a lot as it was super hot especially after the temple visits.

Nice hotel in convenient location. I spent one night here as I decided to stay in Chiang Mai an extra day. The hotel is a short walk from the main restaurants/bars. The location feels safe and it is set back slightly so nice and quiet at night. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The second room we stayed in the shower didn't drain very well but only a minor issue.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Helped us book a cooking class which was amazing. Let us leave our bags at the hotel after check out before our night train left. We were so pleased with the stay that we booked another night after a one night trip to Chiang Mai.

Super happy to have stayed here. The location is perfect, it's close to most places in Chiang Mai but at the same time, it has no noise because it's in a small street. Very relaxing atmosphere, the recepcionist was nice and they have a useful laundry service. The room is good, not huge but cozy and clean. And the best thing about the hotel for us was the swimming pool, being able to swim in such a relaxing atmosphere was marvelous. 10/10 would recommend, especially for couples.

My only confusion was locating the hotel due to Google maps not pinpointing the exact location.

The owner went out of their way to make us feel warm and welcoming. The pool was just the right size and it was lovely to relax and listen to some quiet and peaceful music whilst drinking a very reasonably priced beer. Meeting some lovely guests also. Laundry service was same day and also very reasonably priced. Thank you for making our stay feel great.

The walls are quite thin so we could hear other guests. The rooms are tiny so you a couple may struggle if they have a lot of luggage. The pool was an added bonus but the water was very very cold.

This property is in a great location in the centre of Chiang Mai so everything is very close by. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was basic but delicious and was great to included each morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly also.

Already mentioned in other reviews. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations. You have to throw all toilet paper in the trash and not in the toilet. This didn’t bother me, because I have lived in countries where this was normal. However, wanted to highlight case you have never done that before. Wet wipes (cotton Elle or something like that are the way to go). We did not have our rooms cleaned every day, but did get our trash emptied. Otherwise, rooms are small and not much in the way of place to put away clothes. Made it work. But a stack of drawers on the bottom shelf inside the room would be great! And a second night stand so both sides had a table to set water bottles, phones, meds, etc… on.

Cute boutique hotel in great location. Lovely lounge pool area. Also on second floor above the pool it has tables and bean bags to lounge in. It was a great quiet area with a fan that allows me space to work on my writing for grad school. The instant coffee is free, and 30bht for the fresh ground coffee. Super nice and helpful staff! L’ai dry is super cheap at 50bht per kilogram! I think they have a few places they partner with for different tour services. Loved the cooking school they recommended. Smiles organic farm and cooking school. Julie there was fantastic! However, we used our own driver that we met who was a local and great, Nikai Kanti, for our tour of Chiang Rai. Also, found Patara elephant sanctuary for our Elephant encounter. Ethical breeding sanctuary for Elephants, which means they can rescue abandoned baby elephants because they have nursing mothers!:) So we not only got to play with the grown ups but the babies too!
