Magnificent architecture. Extremely well organised! I mentioned my bed was very firm and before I got back to my room the bed had a nice mattress topper. It was wet season and our suitcases were given their own raincoats for the speedboat trip.

Given that the property is located on a hill & that there is a shuttle service from the beach/lobby to the rooms, it’s just really annoying that the shuttle service does not carry you all the way. It just didn’t make sense for the shuttle to stop mid way and not carry the guests all the way to the room. Even though the hike is short, it’s just annoying because it is just an extra 30 seconds by shuttle instead of having to hike up for 3 minutes after a long day. When we requested the shuttle to go all the way up, some of the drivers got annoyed and would drive recklessly. I also feel like more can be done by the resort to control some of the bugs on the balconies of the room. Even though they are completely harmless & understandably the resort is in a tropical island, the geckos on the balconies can be unwelcoming for some people.

The property is located on a hill directly facing the Andaman Sea and offers a very unique and spectacular view. The speedboat transfer process to the resort is seamless and the staff is very helpful. I cannot emphasize enough how phenomenal it is that the entire resort is made out of teak wood, even the outer casings of the fans around the property are made out of wood, it is incredible. The rooms are very spacious and look exactly as presented in the photos on booking. There is a nearby village that has many shops including a mini market, laundry shop & a clinic. The infinity pool in hotel 5 is fantastic & the view from there is unforgettable. Breakfast selection was good and food was fresh every day. Strongly recommend if you’re looking for a piece of paradise.

The food is okay, but not great. The variety and quality could be better. There are surcharges everywhere.

Beautiful room. We loved the spa. The staff was great, and the hotel was absolutely beautiful. The pool and beach were great, with magnificent views over breakfast and from the room. Breakfast had everything. We had a wonderful time.

The smell of wet wood in the room and for me the bed was nor so comfortable.

This is our second stay in santhiya resort. First was on kho phangan 12 years ago on our honeymoon,now we came with our children and friends. All was amazing ,the location , the facililities and the stuff were great!

Two minor things really, first thing to get the breakfast sent to the room which is included in the package anyways we had to pay 800 BHT and what was sent was only eggs while their breakfast menu in the restaurant was wide and amazing Second thing we faced an issue with geckos which i know part of the nature yet they were unable to handle it inside the room and they asked us to downgrade to a normal room instead of our villa. They took a complimentary picture in the last day and they promised will send it over the email but they havent yet and it has been like 15 days

Beautiful resort and rooms. The pools and beach facilities are amazing. Great free daily yoga class and free paddle board rentals at the beach.

The hotel is so huge you have to go from your room to every point in hotel with buggy cars. Take a little bit time.

İt was not a room it was an amazong house . You feel like in a chinese palas :) pool was amazing. Spa was good just a little bit expensive.

Cons: 1- A lot of kids. The noise will ruin some of the peacefulness. 2 - Chinese tourists. 3 - Tours and transfers are expensive. 4- Food could be better. However I will still rate it 10/10

The buffet dinner was the only thing which was way below my expectation especially regarding the choice of foods.

Everything looks even nuch more luxurious and breathtakingly beautiful, than I expected from the photos.

This is very minor….. Dinner a la Carte menu could be a bit more expansive, but otherwise the food is good.

Our 2nd time to stay here and there’s a reason we came back after 8 years. Beautiful resort, relaxing, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Breakfast is great with a wide choice for every taste. Every room/Villa has an amazing view of the Andaman Sea.
