The breakfast can be vastly improved. So can the selection of fruits. The location of the hotel is not the best. The sea is full of jelly bottles so you can’t swim at all. The hotel should be adding a net to keep them out.

The compulsory speedboat could be included in the price because there's no other way to get to the hotel, but you have to pay that separately. Wi-Fi is not so stable so maybe not the best for remote work. You need to get a tuk tuk to travel from hotel area to the reception and it's rather steep. It wasn't a problem for us but it might be if you're a bit older or have mobility issues. Also, they use a LOT of plastic to be an eco-friendly hotel. I think this is something they could truly improve at. Finally, beware that it can get extremely hot in Thailand- so the pools are not really refreshing at all. But this has nothing to do with the hotel- just something to keep in mind.

Going to this hotel was one of the best decisions we've ever taken. We really loved it. The view was breathtaking, the room was super comfortable, all the decoration is done with so much taste and attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with so many great options for all diets. (Lunch and dinner are less exciting and definitely way too western- not very Thai, leave the hotel if you want thai food!). Their staff works non-stop to make sure your stay is pleasant- they have a huge infrastructure and you always find someone to talk to if you need anything. It's absolutely a magical place and I would 100% recommend it.

The pools were very hot - like being in a hot bath - seriously! the food wasn't great TBH (except breakfast)

Amazing amazing amazing - really loved all the wood work. Breakfast was superb and the views are to die for. Very relaxing. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet - except for some stomping guests above us (wood floors). I would really love to come back. Our room was huge and I'd say great value for money. Off topic - We ate at the Anantara also - this was pretty great.

For a resort which is trying to be eco-friendly, there are a lot of plastics being used - plastic water bottles in the room and at dinner, lunch on one day trip was served in disposable plastic packing, plastic straws in abundance.

Incredible location, loads of wildlife to enjoy (we could see sea eagles, hornbills, macaques, so many beautiful fish even without leaving the resort), Buffy (Buffalo) the hotel 4 kitten also a major highlight of the stay. Good breakfast buffet. Food at dinner was nice, though not spectacular, with plenty of veggie options. Rooms were beautiful and well air conditioned. Regular (non-chemical) mosquito fogging was a good touch. Spa facilities were lovely and staff there were exceptional. We stayed at the end of May when the resort was quieter, but all facilities stayed open. Good variety of trips on offer.

the food for dinner was a little bit on the pricey side but for the view it’s worth it. there’s lots of mosquitos so make sure u have mozzie spray. only can stay here for a few nights as besides relaxing and the great views there is not much else to do.

There was not much outside the property but saying that this island is to relax and staying in this resort you don’t really need much. The staff was very friendly but we were surprised that when we requested to extend our stay for another day, reception advised to book online rather than help us internally. We did book online and were made to change the room. Also little things like power adaptors/phone chargers were not available at the reception as they are in other hotels. We were told to go outside the resort to purchase one in a local store which we did. The next day I visited the resort shop and realised I could have purchased it there. So as I said little things that could be improved but did not ruin our beautiful stay.

Everything! The place is breathtaking. When we first arrived we could not believe how incredible and different the resort was. True Thai style accomodation. Everything that you need: restaurants, peace, fun, free yoga, free kayaks and paddle boards, 4 restaurants, 2 amazing pools, spa. The website (although very good) does not do this place justice. Also we could not believe how huge the resort was. You need to travel by tuk tuk from restaurant/reception to other parts of the resort which is not a problem as staff is always there for you to organise it. And what’s also very handy, as you check in the team makes you join their WhatsApp so you can ask any questions during your stay instead of calling the reception from your room.

The only thing we were unfortunate with was there were loads of jellyfish so we didn't swim in the sea, but this is out of the resorts control and the staff were even clearing and jellyfish that has washed up so we have no complaints here, as we can't (and wouldn't want to) change nature.

Everything was exceptional, the hotel is stunning and spotless. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious, beach and pool areas were wonderful. We were there to celebrate my birthday and the hotel went above and beyond and decorated the bed and provided a cake too! I had the best birthday!

You could say that the beach in front of the hotel is bit rocky or having a lot of stones but whom to blame for that!? What really bothered me a bit was that the first 2 dishes we were having weren’t really good. (incl. Thai food!) the internal transportation system throughout the resort could be better as well. despite that we have enjoyed being there a lot.

I mean it’s a small Island in Thailand, there’s not much what can go wrong from a “is it nice?” point of view. the rooms are just a dream and the staff is very nice and friendly.

The on-site shuttle service route could have catered better for guests in the hotel blocks furthest away from the reception. We were ok with the steep walk to the collection point but other guests clearly struggled with this & had to request golf carts to take them the final distance. This should perhaps have been offered without any additional request being required. This was one of the few occasions that you got the sense there was a 2 tier service in place at the resport as the shuttles ran to all the pool villas but only up to the start of the hotel blocks with guests staying in those required to walk the final distances themselves. To achieve a truly exceptional service standard, this really shouldn't be something any guest would notice. A tip for anyone looking to stay here but not in one of the pool villas would be to request a room in hotel 4 or 5. Hotel 4 is nearest the shuttle drop off point, next is the breakfast/small pool restaurant block, then hotel 5 & finally hotel 6. If the resort put you in hotel 6, ask for a discount for the extra steps you'll have to walk! Also, the views are the same but you clear jungle canopy higher up so request a room higher up. Regarding food, I've seen this mentioned elsewhere but while the food was really well prepared, there wasn't much on the menu that was authentically Thai. There was a lot of safe Western food & the prices weren't too expensive for a resort but there could have been a bit more there for people who come to Thailand to try the local cuisine. Also, I'm not that surprised but the cocktails were a little bit light on the alcohol measures so we had to go out of the resort & along the beach to find another bar & get some decent drinks made up. The smaller pool up by the breakfast restaurant seemed to be just as popular as the larger one near the beach but got far too crowded due to a lack of space & beds around his pool area.

It might seem a trivial detail but the transfer to the resort was handled really well. We were collected from the airport by an MPV shuttle & taken to a marina around 25mins drive away. After a quick check-in there, we were put on a speedboat ferry & then dropped directly at the hotel's own jetty after a 20min boat trip. A really lovely way to arrive at our first holiday location! Our luggage was taken & handled by the shuttle, boat & hotel staff so we didn't need to worry about any of it until we arrived at our room. The views anywhere at the resort are spectacular & the view from our room lived up to all our expectations with a view of a bay, a small island & Phuket just on the horizon with not a single building in sight. The sunsets were amazing on all 4 nights. Check-in was really easy. The shuttles around the resort site were pretty efficient & waiting times weren't too long although I thought they should have extended the shuttle route up to hotel blocks 5 & 6 & the restaurant nearby at the top of the site, especially as this restaurant was the main restaurant that served breakfast. Breakfast was offered with a complimentary massage upon arrival at the restaurant. There were always plenty of tables & we had a choice of tables/views on each of the 4 days we breakfasted there. There was a good choice of 3 more bars/restaurants down by the beach & all of the tables plus every single lounger or seating location at the resort had a QR code to access the resort's full food & drinks menu so that we didn't have to wait to order in whatever location we were in. Another nice touch was being invited to a WhatsApp messenger group where a concierge service was available to help with any problems or organise an activity for us.

This is the second time I've been to the resort. The view from my room this time wasn't as good as the first time. We were allocated to the hotel right at the end of the resort, hence it was a little inconvenient for my parents .
