The property is so beautiful and intentionally built. The pool is incredible, the view is stunning and the layout and design of the hotel is really a marvel! Check out the Marine park fast boat tour and elephant sanctuary nearby. We only wish we stayed longer… Thanks to all the wonderful caring staff and the owner Robert for this unforgettable stay🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 We hope to be back soon!

Location is difficult to get to if driving or wanting to go for a walk. Very steep hills with 40 degree gradiants and the car I rented struggled very bad with getting up the hill to the resort. Best to get the resort to transfer you with their own 4x4.

We were staying in Villa Jumpee. Everything is great, especially if you are looking for quiet and private accommodation, where you are away from the hustle and bustle. Fantastic large private pool with beautiful views of Chaweng. Those who want to spend beautiful moments of relaxation will find them here, and those who look for faults will also find them. That depends on everyone. I appreciate the great idea: communicating with the reception, for example, about cleaning via Whatsapp.

Nothing, it was perfect

We booked into the gardenia room for 1 night on our honeymoon. The room is very comfortable with a spa bath and relaxation area. We also used the communal pool which has a spectacular view over the sea. Someone in the grand ocean view pool villa cancelled last minute so we upgraded. The staff were exceptionally helpful arranging this for us. The villa blew us away. Huge rooms with a very well designed and outfitted kitchen. Private infinity pool with views across the bay. The staff were amazing. They encouraged us to order room service to make the most of our stay which we did. It was very simple - just send them a message on whatsapp and they brought the food straight up. There is a spa bath with light and bluetooth! it was a magical stay.

Everything! The swimming pool and view was incredible. The room was extremely comfortable with lots of nice touches like elephant slippers, a first kit, and mosquito coils, and the whole room was extremely clean and spacious with different areas to enjoy. Although it was too hot to walk to the beach, free transport was provided.

The whole villa was super spacious and comfortable. The view from the pool area was amazing. The service team was very efficient and responsive. All you need to do is drop your request on their whatsapp and they would get it done immediately. Also they helped us in booking tours directly from the hotel and the prices were at par with the market prices. Overall a memorable stay. Would definitely visit again.

Superb location up on the side of a hill with views over the bay. The villa had an infinity pool which overlooked the bay below and Chaweng. Villa was huge and bedrooms were a great size. My room had floor to ceiling windows across the length of the room. Lovely relaxing stay there.

The steep access road is a bit intimidating but that's the price to pay for those awesome views. A car or scooter is a must unless one plans to spend most of the time in the villa, which can be fun too.

I have not been as happy as at the Sandalwood Villas in any other hotel. All around a wonderful experience! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the villa stunningly beautiful, the views from the villa are out of this world...

Where to start?! The view as you enter will blow your mind, the attention to detail of the entire place is impressive - clean, beautiful, well cared for. The staff welcome you like family and are happy to help you in any way they can - whether that's arranging a private car to take you where you want to go, providing last minute items, or giving detailed advice about the island. And THE FOOD! We had eaten exceptionally well all across Thailand but Blue Ginger was a highlight - definitely try the lemongrass shrimp 🦐! Sandlewood lived up to every area it promised. I can't wait to be back soon...

The view at the resort is top notch with the swimming pool on a hilltop facing the sea. Transportation is provided to navigate to the beaches (Coral Cove and Crystal Bay). Jacuzzi facility is also available in our villa. Great and friendly staffs.
