The property is full of lizards as its full of trees and the fact that showers and toilets are outside makes it not so easy for someone who doesn’t like insects and lizards to go at the night to use them. Doors dont close fully meaning lizards do come inside the room. However staff again will come and help you if you are not happy. They changed our room to a better one. They really did everything they can to make us happy and were very thoughtful

Resort should do something about the irritating mosquitoes and flies

This is our second stay with the same resort. The last time we came was 10yrs ago. The place is still as nice and cosy as ever. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to especially mentioned the beach staff and the staff who mend the morning breakfast, Noch, Pen and the rest of the ladies. When I told them that I need to get some bread for our sea outing, they immediately gave us a takeout box and we managed to pick a couple of bread. Service is excellent! Keep up the great job! Hope to see the resort around again during our next visit.

I have stayed at Sala Hotel many times. The hotel always maintains its standards. Almost flawless But this time I didn't feel as happy as before. The hotel is still good in everything. Maybe it's just my expectation.

Great location, awesome pools, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Best restaurant with fresh well priced meals which is close to resort is Bay Leaf Restaurant & Bar. We went there 4 times it was that good! If you're up for some adventure, do the boat/kayak/mountain trek to the Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park. If you're looking for something different, the 4-hour cooking class run by Island Organics Thai Cooking Class was lots of fun and the food was delicious. A highlight from our trip.

The resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Perfect spot for a honeymoon, extremely romantic and the service is great. The location of Cheongmon was perfect for a honeymoon as it was more quiet and private than the busy main area of Chaweng. I loved the turn down service, so many lovely little touches to make the stay even better :)

SALA was an incredible experience. The property is very tastefully done and the two swimming pools are fantastic. It is also great to be right on the beach in a nice part of the island. The staff are all wonderful and we enjoyed touches like the happy hour and private dining at night on the beach. The room was big, stylishly decorated and we really liked the way it felt connected with the natural environment. We would certainly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat.

If I really have to mention one thing: for bathroom use during the night it was a bit inconvenient to have an outside bathroom/ toilet as you could only open the door to the bathroom after fully opening the curtains - but apart from that we still loved the outside bathroom!

Beautiful rooms in lovely green garden with a large terrace with daybed. Outside bathroom also very nice. Two wonderful pools on very nice beach. Exceptional service, wonderful breakfast and excellent location outside of the busy parts of Koh Samui but still with a some nice shops and restaurants nearby. Beach is very nice, also to eat on during the evening. The French Toast and Thai Lime Ice Tea at breakfast was delicious!

The Spa treatments were ok, not great, and given the high price compared to other places outside of the hotel it didn't justify the high price.

We loved everything about the hotel, the staff was amazing and helped us with everything we needed, the service was wonderful, the food was great and the hotel facilities as well, we will definitely come back again :)

The hotel is truly wonderful, the rooms are nice with lots of detail and effort put into them. The hotel gardens are very relaxing, and the pool area is large, with two nice pools and there is always sufficient room for all guests. The breakfast buffet is amazing with so many options, but for us what truly stood out is the service. The people at the hotel were fantastic, really nice, always ready to help, they made all the possible accommodations for us and our baby to make us have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. You call and in one second someone replies and in even less time they have already solved your issue, incredible! Kudos to the manager.

We had a balcony room, which in itself was very nice, but it was a flight of steps up. Not an issue for us, just be aware if any mobility issues in your party. Staff carried our suitcases so that was good.

Food was exceptional - we breakfasted on 4 days, lunched on 2 and had dinner on 1...all fab! Also used room service for in-room dining - food also good and arrived hot. The staff were amazingly attentive....and happy. Even the gardeners would say Hello. No problem delivering an ironing board etc. The location right on the beachfront was amazing. And only 15 mins from airport.

The sea just in front of the resort was a bit unclear, full of algae, but just 50 meters away it was just clear

Impossible to open the door to the bathroom when the curtain is drawn because it swings open (design error). Means we had to go through the terrace to use the toilet at night... New Year's Eve Dinner was a letdown. Buffet was super limited and entertainment quite tacky - we were expecting more considering the cost (our most expensive meal in Thailand).

We loved our stay at Sala Samui! Service was some of the best we've ever had, attentive yet unobtrusive. They continuously went above and beyond. Special shoutout to the guys working at the pool. The room terrace was incredibly relaxing and the outdoor bathroom provided a unique experience. Breakfast was also absolutely delicious, with an amazing selection.

Wonderful beach, excellent staff. Loved the daily events planned by the hotel like movie on the beach, fire shows and dining on beach! One doesn’t really need to step out of the property at all!

Breakfast was good however I think dinner could have been better. I ended up going out to Fisherman’s Village (would highly recommend) for dinner two nights.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I was upgraded to a garden suite so I had my own pool which was just dreamy! Would 100% recommend.
