The beds and pillows were way too hard. I extended my stay in Ao Nang but moved to another hotel because my back & neck were sore from the bed. The flooring was also lifting & I kicked my foot on it, so I lay my exercise mat over it to stop me hurting my feet. This place would be 10/10 otherwise.

The downside is that they don’t have a lift so if you have a heavy luggage you will need to carry it upstairs or get someone to help you with the luggage during check in as there are many stairs even to rooms on lower floors. The night receptionist was very kind to help with the luggage when we checked out but the day receptionist wouldn’t do it during check in. Another thing is that there is a lack of storage to put your clothes in case you are staying longer as there is only a clothes rail.

The hotel location is great, only a few minutes walk to the beach on a main road full of shops and restaurants. The rooms could be improved by doing some maintenance perhaps but were overall clean. We were first checked in a room on the first floor facing the pool which had a patch of damp on the bathroom ceiling and was not very clean but the night receptionist was able to move us to another room on the top floor which was very good. The hotel is very quiet even though the hotel is on the main road. The small pool is enough to relax and cool down in. The staff are ready to help with any request you might have. The rooms can be cleaned daily by request so you can have fresh clean towels everyday, also the communal areas are kept very clean. The air conditioning is very good and welcome!

Steal at twice the price. I would say top things was that it was CLEAN, very clean. Felt like brand new construction. Beds and rooms were well decorated and super comfortable. Just felt like home the moment arrived. Would absolutely stay here again - for the price it was unbeatable

The bathroom always had a pretty weird smell to it but I’m not sure there is much the hotel can do about that. The mattresses were pretty hard but that is how it is in Thailand.

I stayed in a dorm room but since this Hotel is not primarily booked as a Hostel, it was only 2 of us in the 4 person dorm. Decent sized room with plenty of storage and even a safe per bed. The pool was small but refreshing and never busy.

I paid for a hostel price but my stay is comparable to being in a hotel. Location is just off of the main street. The pool area is perfect in size compared to the number of hotel guests they can accommodate. There is enough sunbeds for everyone and the area itself has a great view and is pretty cool thanks to the layout and surrounding plants.

A room on the fourth floor, means you have to walk a lot of stairs. If you have mobility problems, ask for a room on the first floor.

We stayed at the Sabai Hotel for 4 nights. The staff is very friendly, and they helped with every request we had. The rooms were very beautiful, clean, comfortable (especially the bed) and a powerful airconditioning. The swimming pool is very clean. Good location, close to the supermarket and beach. One of the best hotels for sure.

We stayed here twice on either side of a trip to Tonsai. The first time we were able to check in early which was amazing. The second time we arrived at 12 and asked if we could check in early, they said we couldn’t until 2 (no problem as this is the check in time) so we came back at 1.55. They then said we had to wait until 2.30 and it wasn’t until 2.45 that we got access to our room. Not a huge deal but we were desperate to get to our room and relax after tiring days climbing in Tonsai. The reception has no a/c so not a great place to wait.

Nice accommodation with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and clean rooms. Wooden floor was a little damaged and we felt like we might catch our feet on it and get a splinter. Balcony was nice with a view over the pool. Pool was lovely although the bridge area is pretty weird and the water under it seems to accumulate and looked kind of stale. Location was good, near to lots of food and easy to get dropped off and picked up by taxi.

Bad smells from the drains whenever anyone had a shower or used the sink. Mattress was quite firm. Otherwise no complaints and these issues weren’t major anyway.
