Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt was a little run down but it was getting refurbished. I was there in low season so it was the best time to decorate etc. the gym could do with some better equipment and the yoga teacher isn’t a qualified teacher. The breakfast/menus in general could do with vegan options.
I’ve never stayed at a resort like this before and I truly thought it was breathtaking on arrival. My room overlooked the private beach, the bath tub with that view is such a beautiful touch. It was large, comfortable, and the staff were lovely.

United KingdomReceptionists in person felt a bit awkward. On the last day we felt like they just want us to leave. No smiles from them. VAT is added on all your bills so if you are having a meal from different menus then you will have to pay VAT twice. Also, drinks will be on a separate bill and you will have to pay another VAT for that. Super weird and I saw many people complaining about that in the restaurant. This needs to be addressed.
We stayed 3 nights during our honeymoon trip in Thailand. We booked sunset villa with private swimming pool and and an amazing time there. It was everything we imagined and more. The villa had two separate houses - one living room and one bedroom with bathroom, separate toilet, bath and dressing room. Everything was very clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. The views were to die for and you definitely pay for that. They have decent hairdryer which is super really rare for hotels. Cleaners were coming in every day and if we were asleep they waited until we leave. The hotel is a bit secluded and although you can go out to eat for much cheaper outside we wanted to have a full experience and ate at the hotel. The food was decent and so were the drinks. We went during low season so it was kind of empty which we enjoyed since we actually came for some peace and quiet. Staff seemed a bit bored and we were not sure whether they were genuinely friendly towards us but we would like to say big thank you to Mee who we unfortunately met on our last night. He seemed sincerely interested in us and was really nice and genuine. He came to us during the breakfast on the last day as well and we just really enjoyed talking with him! All the drivers were ok, but there was one that we loved, unfortunately, we didn’t get his name. He picked us up once and we told him that the monkeys have visited us - he was very friendly and explaind what we need to do in this case. We saw him couple of times after but we didn’t think about getting his name. I hope the management will be able to identify him and let him know that he is doing a great job. The reception was very good and swift and sorting all our issues/requests efficiently. Also meet & greet and transfer were fantastic and no issues with that at all

SpainThe beach isn’t the best for swimming or relaxing on, it’s best to explore others on the island.
We had a wonderful birthday stay at the Rawi Warin hotel, all of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an extra special stay. A mention for our friend at the pool bar who made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived and had great fun with our son, however all of the staff were brilliant! The breakfast service is excellent, with so much choice (our favourites were the pastries and eggs Benedict), they also provided special plates and cups for kids. We stay in a villa, which was a generous size, well equipped and beautifully decorated. There was a bit of a hill up to the room, however the hotel provided a shuttle service, for when you weren’t feeling so energetic. The grounds were beautifully kept and the pools and spa were great. I had a massage and facial and the lady was very attentive. Our son loved the kids room, which was kept cool and clean. The restaurant served excellent Thai and western dishes for dinner. Outside of the hotel there are some good local restaurants, small shops, and places to book excursions.

AustraliaEverything about our stay was first class, the only disappointing thing for us is that we went during the wet season and a lot of restaurant were closed . But we cant fault the hotel for that. Breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from

SingaporeNothing. There is a reason we keep coming back during the rainy/low season.
We like the ozone pool, and the well kelt grounds. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. As an example, once they knew I preferred decaf cappuccino, every morning they would make sure I had a fresh cup of decaf cappuccino at breakfast time. We also love the greenery, the onsite spa and how relaxed the environment is. Note that Koh Lanta is not much of a party island, but we cherish the relaxed Island atmosphere and the Rawi Warin resort is excellent value for money.

Our third visit here, it's a great location to get away from everything, yet easy enough to go to more popular places and restaurants.

IrelandThe rooms are hilly so be aware of this when you are booking although the hotel does offer a free shuttle service from your room. I would request a lower down room in future!
Really nice pool area, pool bar & private beach area on a quiet stretch of the island. The setting is kind of jungle like and lots of nature around which is lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

IndiaI was there for my honeymoon and the sunset pool villa did not disappoint. Situated on the quaint island of Koh Lanta, Rawi Warin is the best property on the island. The best private beach, clean and with amazing sunset views. Their private restaurant had good food even though you can get better food on the island at a much cheaper prices. Our room had an infinity pool with 3 different sections and it was amazing enough to keep ourselves there the entire day

United KingdomBit disappointed by the free bike service as it’s only for use on site. We thought we’d be able to explore the island a bit with them so this scuppered our plans a bit.
Big resort with lots of facilities and a lovely quiet beach. We did some snorkelling there which was great. Pool is fantastic as were all the staff who were super friendly as well as accommodating. Lovely grounds though some of it is very hilly so check your rooms carefully. We booked a Pond Room which was very close to the Pool Bar and pool which suited us. We didn’t have to climb too many steep stairs to get to our room, however you can ask for the hotel buggy to drive you anywhere you wish on the site. Otherwise a great overall stay.

United KingdomNothing about this hotel however Koh Lanta itself has very little, and this hotel is too far to walk to the only really shopping area.
What a lovely place!! Our stay here was very "spur of the moment" due to our previous choice not meeting our expectations so we checked out within 12 hrs of arriving, and we're so glad we changed! This hotel has been very sympathetically built into the terrain so feels feels very natural with lots of trees and plants, yet has all the facilities you would expect from a resort of this standard. It also is direct access to the beach, with lots of loungers, if you prefer this to the substantial pool. Food wise, the breakfast is very impressive and has pretty much all the food choices you could desire, for lunch & dinner there are several places to choose from so you could easily not leave the resort for a week and you would be fine! The only "negative" i would say is that because it is built into the hills there are some steep incline / steps, so if walking is an issue mayb you would struggle with these. The distances are not far it is simply the graditiant but i suppose this is the price you pay for being amongst the natural environment.

MacaoThe Kidsclub is the only thing that didn't meet my expectations. It was a dark room with toys and didn't had any staff inside to play or promote activities with the kids. There were some activities outside (most of them paid), like Kickboxing, or Scuba diving which are not for young children. Compared with other resorts in Thailand, this Kidsclub is very disappointing. The drinks in the restaurants and pool bar are on the pricey side, like 7USD for a canned beer. The beach has limited areas you can swim due to the large amount of rocks.
The breakfast was very good, with all you can expect from a 5 star quality hotel and in general all the food in the resort restaurants is delicious. The Swimming pool is treated with Ozone instead of Chloride, which is much better, allowing the kids to spend lot's of time on the water without skin and eyes reaction. The rooms are spacious and pleasant.
