The breakfast was average, nothing wrong just ok. Just a little out dating but nothing horrible, just comparing to the price I expected a tad better.

The room was big, clean, air conditioning was good. Wish their second pool was open but they did warn us a few times on the website and reservation so it wasn’t a disappointment when we got here.

was charged for two chocolate bars that we never ate or took. I believe they were not there in the first place and when it came to checkout they refused to believe it could have been an error on their side.

There was no hot water...it was very hot so did not mind it in the end, but family wanted warm water (was like that for 3 days). We used a lot of heating water for the baths 😀😀

They were accomodating that we could use the pool while we waited for ferry after check out. I trust after upgrades the place will be amazing again.

Breakfast selection not as good as other hotels, but it's a minor thing really. e.g. only white bread available and weak coffee, but you can purchase good coffee in the coffee bar. Like everywhere else, the beds are hard, but this place had the worst pillows as well... comfortable in every other aspect but sleeping wasn't :(

Overall a comfortable hotel, handy to pier and village. While there is some renovation going on, it didn't impact our stay. In fact we stayed an extra night because it was better than our previous accommodation that was more expensive but crap. This place is clean and spacious with updated room facilities.

The food was average. I got a chicken burger the chips were undercooked and the burger had no sauce it was very plain. Breakfast the following day was equally disappointing, the egg station was nice but everything else was average. I enjoyed the hotel however I did not enjoy the food. The room was very moist . We could feel damp/ wet on our bed. The floor was extremely stickey and the shower was wet hours later.

There was a bit of construction around the pool and the grounds. I'm told this has been going on for some time. While it didn't prevent using the pool, but was a little awkward at times to get around.

The hotel is very comfortable and has a convenient location just off the Railay East pier. The breakfast was quite good, rooms are large and comfortable. The pool is roof top with a good view of the bay and sunrise.

The pool water was very warm and not very refreshing. Our shower only had cold water. There was quite a bit of construction within the property and beware of monkeys around

The rooftop pool was beautiful with views of the ocean and mountains. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were given a welcome drink and cold towel when we arrived. The AC worked very well. The location of the hotel was secluded.

-the shower water is very salty. we informed the staff they said it's normal for hotel in Railey, However i stayed at others hotel in Railey as well but it's not very salty like this . Staff provided us a bottle of water to brush teeth and clean our face

The location is right next to the pier to go to Ao nam mao and only a short walk to main street. The room is clean but outdated

Shower was cold even on the hot setting, although temp outside was high, we still like a warm+ shower. Booked a trip from the "tourist" desk (just outside the restaurant)- this was a rip off, cannot really blame the hotel, but they seem to be associated - significantly more than we could get on walking street (2 mins around the corner).

Staff very helpful. Excellent location next to the east pier, good room. There are back entrances which shorten the walk to the beach which unfortunately we didn't find until the last day.

It would of been helpful to say sowhere on the website or on Booking that the only available trasportation way to Railay beach is by boat! That was nowhere said so we were caught by surprise when we booked our taxi drive from the airport. Railay is a secluded beach that you can only access by boat, which means for any sort of party night outs or city/town vibes to the closer area (Ao Nang) you have to get a boat - which after 6pm do not have standard times so it is a hustle if you want to come back late from a night out. One of the things that really striked me was the water - it smelled so bad I couldn't even brush my teeth with it and never felt clean after a shower - I suppose this is not a hotel problem but it really through me off on the first night. Apparently there is a problem with sewing and rubbish which produces a very bad smell especially because of the heat, which just makes the whole experience really spoiled. That was a turn-off for me as taking the route from the hotel to the beach - where it smelled the most - was always a hustle. If I knew, I'd rather have stayed elsewhere. Re the cleanliness of my room, it was always clean but I understand I stayed in the older building (with the view) that would be renovated next year. So the room per se had an old furnishing so didn't give the impression of new and hence, clean room. But it was cleaned daily. Also, one of the reasons we stayed in this hotel was of its spa. Unfortunately, we found out that the spa was closed due to renovation on the day we arrived, but the staff recommended to use the spa facilities of the next door hotel, belonging to the same chain. That was ok but I'd rather knew this in prior. Food was good and breakfast was nice but nothing special.

When we talk about hospitality, people at the Railay Princess are the actual definition of it. So quick to accommodate us, super polite and always with a smile on their face! They knew who my friend and I were as I loved the grape juice the offered us once we arrived and kept asking for it every day (I offered to buy some but they told me they couldn't help me with this!) - they were so lovely every time they saw us they were offering us the juice! I loved the hotel as it was, it was clean, tidy and quiet - exactly what we were looking for. Staff was always around, polite ( I was exchanging good morning with the lovely gardener everyday!) and honestly, I have so much appreciation for Thai people after my experience there.
