Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaNo one at the bar during happy hour had to go and find someone to serve us a drink.
Lovely clean spacious rooms. Nice pool with a swim-up bar. Happy hour cocktails. Breakfast is good. You can have eggs cooked to your liking and a selection of Asian dishes, fruit and pastries. Close to beach, restaurants, bar and massage. Very close to the markets.

AustraliaBreakfast needs improving, not many choices to choose from, cappuccino and americano was trash from hotel coffee machine it’s like drinking black coffee, definitely needs improving. Hotel needs to offer taxi services, we asked for taxi to Burger King and they said to download grab, would have rather hotel calling a taxi. Few Mosquitoes, hotel should offer insect spray or mozzie plug in as other hotels place in rooms.Overall nice and cheap for an overnight stay.
Beautiful greenery around the hotel, close to airport three minute ride.

AustraliaThe air conditioner in room 507 was a little noisy. The tap to change the shower head (there are two) did not work, and the showerhead that was working did not spray down on the person but on the wall instead. (Maintenance in room 507 is needed.) The fridge is tiny and cannot make ice. Sometimes, there was no one at the pool bar to serve.
Good size room and bathroom with bath. Seating area (window seat). Robes, slippers, tea & coffee, safe, small fridge, AC and flat-screen TV, hairdryer. Nice pool, swim-up bar. Good location close to markets, shops and massage. A 5-minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from beach restaurants, massage, bar, etc. There are 7/11s, currency exchanges, and pharmacies all nearby—only 5 minutes from the airport. The bed is firm but comfortable, with many pillows and cushions, power points near the bed, and bedside tables and lamps. The resort grounds are lush and pleasant. There are free bicycles to use. Breakfast is good. There is an egg station where you can get freshly cooked eggs Benedict (minus the bacon or ham), omelettes, scrambled eggs, or fried eggs. They have boiled eggs and fried eggs already prepared. They have a selection of other food, usually rice, a meat stirfry or similar, chicken sausage and chicken ham, creamy spinach or pasta. Chicken congee and a spicy soup. A selection of pastries, including croissants. Fruit and yogurt, cereal and bread/toast. A coffee machine. Nice pool with a swim-up bar and happy hour cocktails between 14:00 - 16:00.

AustraliaIt's a tiny fridge with no capacity to make ice. Our room didn't get service because we hadn't put the sign on the door... we didn't have a sign to put on the door.

United KingdomYou cannot check in until 3pm no matter what (no welcome drink on arrival, other guests did), then we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for our luggage to arrive 2000thb on arrival (therefore we had £50 to get rid of as this was our last day) Breakfast was reasonable, cold fried eggs that had stood for some time Air conditioning too cold no instructions how to use it, therefore we had to remove the key card No hotel information, other than a list of items you had to pay for either lost or damaged down to a tea spoon We asked for a late check out (obviously willing to pay) the hotel said no, therefore we booked another hotel 10 minutes walk to Phuket Airport
The room was spacious, with a good size bathroom and dressing room Smallest fridge I have ever seen travelling around Thailand for 6 weeks Balcony too hot to sit out and enjoy, no pool view unless you hand over the balcony to the pools below which you didn't have access to

GermanyWe had some problems with the air condition, we couldn't set it up to work properly. At the checkout, we had to wait a bit in the reception area for them to let us know all is good with our room.
The access to the private pool was really worth it! It was nice to spend a night here before our flight back. The hotel area is really lush and green and well taken care of. The room was very spacious and clean.

SwitzerlandThe breakfast options could be more, but i guess that was OK for a 4 star hotel. The kids club was a small room, but OK for a 4-star hotel.
The room was great. Book the superior with pool access on the second floor. It's really worth it. The insude of the room was clean and you could see that they pay attention to the details. The pool was nice (unfortunately the pool bar was not open). The breakfast was good, but could be improved. Generally, the hotel is an upper 4-star hotel.

Hong KongThe breakfast was rather ordinary. A posh coffee maker in the room, rather than instant with powdered milk, z would have been nice (first-world problem, I know).
The junior, pool access, suite was excellent: Bright, spacious, well equipped and with open access to a well-maintained semi-private pool - good price for lovely room. Great staff, Preaw in particular.

SingaporeCeiling and walls are thin so can hear noises, especially at night. Aircon in room 304 is a little noisy, hotel should fix it. Can hear door closing quite loudly. Suggest hotel to place a note on the door to inform guests to close door softly. Would be good to have a sliding partition between bed and bathroom for more privacy and to block the noise from corridors.
It's a 10 to 15min stroll to the beach area where there are many shops and restaurants. The area near the hotel is relatively quiet and there are a few massage places, eateries and a 7-11. Room is spacious and all equipment are in working condition. Nice lounge area in the room plus outdoor balcony. Bed is comfy with a few pillows and cushions. Pool area is great for swimming and relaxation (when don't have noisy guests or kids).
