No information given about the resort. It would have been nice to have information in the room. There is no plan or picture of resort grounds. No guide to pools or where to get towels. No information about local shops or transport to other places.

I was concerned about negative reviews, but people complain about the smallest things. We had a lovely time at Princess Kamala.Traditional furniture. Big room. Huge bed. Bathtub. Big balcony. Great pool. Clean. There are a few tiles missing, but obvious repairs and updates are happening. Across road from beach. Central to all shops. Short drive to patong. Staff lovely. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay here again.

There is a dirty channel between the beach and the hotel, which is thought to be a mosquito infestation, and as the hotel restaurant is located on the road, I was bitten by mosquitoes several times just eating breakfast.

Originally, kamala beach is one of the quieter areas of Phuket, but this hotel was even quieter. It is also less than 100 metres across the road to the beach, and at the southern end where the waves are quieter. There is also a convenience store and a currency exchange with a good exchange rate nearby, which was very convenient. There is a large pool directly in front of the room and when the sea waves are high you can spend all day by the pool.

Location is good it’s not directly on the beach but just across the road. Rooms are a bit tired and probably not worth the money but it did look like they were doing renovations. The pool area is very big and nice but the bar is quite expensive for Thailand.

They were working on re-tiling while we stayed so the drilling noise was rather piercing/annoying.

Great location being across the road from food markets and close to the beach and other shops. Fantastic facilities with multiple pool areas and a gym. Reception staff were very helpful when my friend left his ID card behind.

I would say this is more of a 3 star resort. The standing shower is not fit for purpose. The water hits the door and leaks under the door and floods the bathroom. The only way to avoid this is to take the shower head off and hold it.

Just over the road from the beach, friendly staff, big clean room, plenty of coffee shops, and restaurants near by.

a lot of walking... they put us in the furthest room, so had to walk a lot. Might be worth booking the poolside apartment, because these are nearby the entrance

No shade for pools so they were way too warm and not suitable for daytime swimming. Property not as tidy as it could be. Same towels sat on a chair in a heap for 3 days. Breakfast location not air conditioned so very hot. Rooms don't have microwave to be self contained. Small shower. Renovations going on so a bit noisy at times. Maybe this should be disclosed prior to booking seeing as it was non- refundable?

Excellent location, rooms a great size. Huge king size plus bed. Quiet even though it is close to the road - rooms are at the back. Beautiful property with a lovely lily pond at the back. Great air con in the rooms. Good breakfast with lots of variety.

We loved our stay! The location was great with the beach across the road and close to lots of restaurants. Our bungalow at the back of the property was lovely overlooking the pond. It was quiet, clean, and we enjoyed having a deck to enjoy morning coffee while listening to the birds and looking at all the plants/trees.

Some of the facilities were a little unclean. The property is also not beachfront (but that didn’t bother me much). The most annoying thing was that there was no info about the hotel in the room or anywhere else. We specifically asked for it and they said they’d get it for us but never did and they also refused to let us hang onto a room service menu in our room? It was a bit weird.

It was very relaxed and the pool and swim up bar were nice!

The deep end of one of the pools is right in front of the lift, no pool fencing, so be careful with little children.

Swimming pools were good, breakfast was great value with a good selection. The room was comfortable.

It’s not beachfront. You have to walk over the street.

Nice resort for a good price but breakfast should be included for the price. Nice pool. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.
