Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe TV reception was not sharp and there were no cable channels. The notices regarding forbidden activities such as washing clothes in the basin or paying for damaging items in the room were a bit of a downer, with 5000 baht fines being the punishment for infringements. Laundry charges are expensive - 40 baht for instance for a pair of underpants. There was a safe which an attendant arrived to reset, but despite showing me how to use it, two errors then an alarm dissuaded me from using it. The chair by the window had no arms and was not comfortable for long sits. The shower tiles are already being attacked by black mould in places, something which a diligent management should try to nip in the bud.
The hotel is located next door to a park and about 800 meters from Victory Monument. The room I was in disappointed me as it had no view or access to a balcony. I had to keep the shading curtains closed due to having rooms from the adjoining building a very short distance away. The room was clean, the bed spacious and comfortable and there was a buffet breakfast which was kind of dull but filling. There were large Chinese and then Indian tour groups staying there so the sizeable buffet room was busy in the morning. The staff were pleasant enough without being particularly friendly - the very busy lobby and tour groups worked against a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel seems fairly modern. The air-conditioning was effective and reasonably quiet. The hotel was fully booked the 2nd night, so it's obviously popular. If lucky enough to score a room overlooking the park next door, the stay would be more pleasant. It's the sort of hotel where you'd be wanting to spend the majority of time exploring the area rather than relaxing in your room.

AustraliaOne of our rooms had an electrical problem - power went out when showering a number of times. Hotel didn't fix the issue during our stay other than resetting the tripped fuse each time it happened.
Location is excellent, close to Skytrain and easy to get around. Reasonable price, reasonable hotel.

Romaniabed mattress too hard, room not looking so well, some cracks in the wall's painting, cracked paintings, little dirty walls, some lights fall down, but still hang on the ceiling, I got scared a little. no mobile shower, no bath robe, no slippers, no small towels, maybe because of the standard room. can hear national anthem from school nearby.
good location, lot of street food around, 10 minutes walk to the train or big shops/malls, nearby park. 2 glasses for the bathroom sink. big shower cabin for 2 people. valet to carry your luggage and take you to your room.

QatarThere’s no much extra things like bathrobe, silppers, toothbrush and toothpaste, just 1 pillow per person/bed but you can request for additional. The hot shower is not that hot.
The location was superb for our itinerary and there’s lots of places to eat nearby!

United Arab EmiratesNo slippers were provided. We requested several times to no avail. Same for the bed, we requested to combine the twin bed as they don't have available beds for a family but we're left on our own.
The staff from the reception and the restaurant were friendly and courteous. Good hotel for family, great location and clean rooms.

PhilippinesNothing much to dislike about the hotel. Just a small thing, they did forget to give us hotel slippers. The hot water in the bathroom needs improvements. Location is ok although you have to walk a few blocks to get to the BTS train station. More ammenities I hope. :)
The stay itself is very pleasant & relaxing. Plus points for budget friendly!! Staffs are very accomodating. Surely was a great stay. They cleaned up our room, there's always new drinking water/coffee and they changed bathroom towels everyday too! Will definitely be back!!

United KingdomI look for the good in all hotels, I am a traveller and don't expect to find a hotel that is like my home. For the money I paid I feel I had brilliant value. I love this hotel for all the positives, I do not look for, or feel this hotel has any negatives worth mentioning.
The location was perfect for me. Near some lovely restaurants and shopping areas. Also the BTS was only a short walk away. My room overlooked the park which gave me a feeling of being away from the city. The breakfast was and always is to me, exceptional. The staff are always friendly and so helpful. It has brilliant parking, the hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Great value for money.

PhilippinesIts not the properties fault that we booked 2 days prior our stay so we got higher price without breakfast. our reservation from another hotel was cancelled almost zero hour so we had to immediately look for a new place to stay and glad picnic still has available room for us. but still, we paid higher.
first time staying outside of pratunam area and it did not disappoint. our room size and bed is comfortable. room view is the park beside it so its more relaxing while having coffee and breakfast. There is a 7-11 store across the street and actually a few more on both sides of the road. There is a mini mall down the corner going to BTS Victory Monument for dining options and eateries along the way. Central World is within 10-15mins and SIAM Paragon just behind it via Ratchaprasong Walk.

MalaysiaThe bathroom of my sons' room has no glass door inside. Water splashes everywhere when shower, thus making the whole floor wet.
Garden view rooms were not allocated upon check in. However, check in staff managed to get one for me on the 3rd floor. Reasonably large bedroom. Food is easily available near the hotel. BTS Victory Monument is about 10 minutes' walk. Boat Noodles Alley near a canal is about 5 minutes from the BTS station.
