The breakfast had a lot of flies around and on the food - the food needs covering better and the juice out of the sun as it was boiling hot.

The staff were so friendly and the view was incredible. We made use of the shuttle tuk tuk which was handy when we didn't want to walk down to the main part, they also offer a pick up service to help with getting up the hill. It was nice that the hotel decorated our bed for our honeymoon. I would definitely recommend paying a bit more as the grand Seaview room was worth it.

Unfortunately we only got to stay just one night as we had to fly home due to a family emergency. But what we experienced during that day & night was enough to make us want to come back. Railay is a stunning spot & this hotel is located high up to enjoy beautiful views of the area. Rooms are spacious with everything you need. The staff were so kind & attentive & so helpful in getting us back to Krabi airport too. Thanks so much for all your help. We'll be back again for a longer trip.

The only two small complaints are that the shower dispenser barely puts out any shampoo/gel and that it is hard to grab fruits during breakfast because of the bees swarming it. Minor inconviniences.

Great resort with very friendly and accomodating staff. Everything is in walking distance and they also offer free tuktuk shuttle. The view from the pool is amazing. Would come here again.

Everything was perfect

Everything!!! You must come here. Was my favorite place in all Thailand. Having the mountain bear is beautiful and the pool and bar is amazing. Staff VERY friendly and nice. All I can say is I have the most magical stay in my whole life. Breakfast with a lot of variety of things and the beach is just 6 minutes walking .

Nothing to complain about. It’s a bit of a walk up to the resort, but unless you’re a bit of an invalid, it’s a nice walk. It’s mostly quite well lit at night.

The pool was beautiful and the place was quiet, being up a long path from the town. The buffet breakfast, and the view from breakfast, was really wonderful. The staff were helpful and there is a large double tuk tuk to take you to, and from, town. There are lots of small, thoughtful touches…room slippers, large umbrellas and welcoming drinks and cookies. Probably THE best place to stay in Railay.

If i really need to give a small comment or recommendation, then please have a good look at the amazing pool. some swimming pool tiles need to be replaced.

What a great service! upon arrival there was a tractor waiting for us the bring us with our suitcases to the accommodation. So much appreciated. The staff is really friendly and helpful. from the reception to the pool bar and the cleaning staff

The place is absolutely and utterly amazing. It sets on the hill overlooking the ocean and a beautiful backdrop of the mountain. I commend all the staff as they are very polite and accommodating. Never a dull moment from Phutawan resort. The moment you checked in, you are welcomed with warm smiles from the reception. The food is fantastic too.

Mosquitos! I am personally quite a magnet for mosquitos at the best of times and it is safe to say they definitely feasted on me here, but this would be typical no matter where you are in Railay because of the lush landscape. We had a massage in the hotel, and whilst the masseuse was very skilled and friendly, it was not the right setting. The area for massage is open air next to the entrance road to the hotel so you get all the noise of passing tuktuks and people coming and going. Also there is no privacy as everyone can see you. The music in the massage area is fab music but most definitely better suited to a poolside happy hour and not exactly conducive to a relaxing massage especially given the volume too haha. Instead of relaxing I felt like I should be getting ready for a girls night out! The massage area would be so so much better in an indoor location with air conditioning and some relaxing background music.

Absolutely beautiful property set in the hills of Railay beach with views to die for. The hotel was beautifully clean and had everything you could want including a fantastic happy hour on cocktails mid afternoon!! The rooms were really beautiful, spotless, and had very comfortable mattress and pillows, with lovely touches like welcome drink and biscuits, beach bag for guest use and robe and slippers. We ate twice in the hotel restaurant and it was the best food we had in Railay beach and Krabi as a whole, very tasty and reasonably priced. I have to give a special mention to John who works at the pool bar and restaurant, such a beautifully kind and generous man and really took care of us and our young children. If I was to return to Railay I would rebook here without hesitation, now knowing the area I would not want any other hotel, to my knowledge this is the only hotel with an elevated position and it avoids all the noise and fumes from the long tail tourist boats that come and go all day long. I can imagine staying in one of the hotels on the beach front it must be quite noisy. Dont worry about the walk to get to the entrance as they have a shuttle tuktuk on call when you need it.

It is at the top of a VERY steep hill and it is very poorly signposted which made arriving quite difficult. We would recommend arranging a shuttle to pick you up from the pier as it was hellish with our heavy bags.

Superb view and so relaxing to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. All the staff were lovely!

It was a very muddy and about 20minute walk to the Railay walking street, and coming back to the resort was quite the uphill. They do offer a shuttle but only every couple of hours. But, it's the price you pay for a view of the hills! I also found the bar to be a bit overpriced.

The pool is situated so beautifully with an absolutely gorgeous view of the cliffs, hills, and oceans. The entire place is very well taken care of, the landscaper deserves a raise! This place is such good value.

Its really inconvenient to reach the property , especially if you have travelled from ao nang. Its literally a kilometer walk with your baggage as the hotel doesnt have any service to help you if you are coming from the western railay beach .
