the best place to stay in Koh Lanta!

The house is nice. The room is comfortable. The location is far from all facilities so you definetly need a bike. Also there are a lot, really a lot of moscitos. They are huge! Every day we killed aroud 20 of them! They were everywhere in the room, but we didnt open the door. I dont know how did they get incide. Also there is no every day cleaning. They clean rooms only when you check out.

Everything we loved here: Nice, cleaned, beautiful relaxing view on the jungle, quiet because not close to the main town and we loved it (easy with motorbike), beautiful garden and very nice staff!For us amazing! Thanks for the very nice staff there!

Unfortunately we found that finding anyone that worked there rather tricky. We stayed for a week and had to ask, twice for our room could be cleaned - mainly due to the sand from the beach.. We were told it’d be cleaned at 10am, so we left for the day and returned that evening to find it hadn’t been cleaned. The next day we asked again and the same thing almost happened but thankfully we stuck around to make sure. We weren’t provided with soap in the room, or hand towels, and we kept having to ask for toilet roll. When it came to asking, we could never find anyone.. I think it’s just something for the owners to work on. I’ve stayed in a range of places across Thailand and at the very least it’s easy to get in touch with the owners and they usually restock toiletries - or stock them in the first place.

When we first entered the room we were blown away. It was spacious, airy and had a nice kitchenette and good air conditioning. The bathroom was a great size too! The location is out of the way of Khlong Nin, the closest ‘main area’ so you will certainly need a scooter, which the hotel can provide. The nature around you is absolutely stunning and tranquil. There’s a very friendly, well groomed cat that likes to come say hello too! There is a restaurant on site but it’s not actually the hotels - rather we used the one just outside the lane entrance to the hotel and that was lovely.

You need a scooter as it is a bit far out of everything. Far from beaches, but doesn’t take long on the scooter!

It was such an amazing stay at the Phara Thuringia Resort. The bungalow is very comfy & new. Everything is clean. If you need room service you can always ask the staff and they will do it. The staff in total is super nice and very helpful. You can rent a scooter direct at the place. There is not much around and that’s what I loved about the location- there are two restaurants very near the accommodation. I really would recommend to stay here!

Just a minor detail, the air conditioning has a screen with a bright light - a little annoying if you’re sensitive to lights while sleeping. The property is a bit far from the beach and restaurants (but I knew it before).

Building and forniture was new and impeccably clean, very comfortable bed and pillows, good shower, beautiful surroundings, it feels like being in the jungle. I loved sitting on the balcony to enjoy the tranquillity of the nature around. Very kind and helpful staff.

I’m aware this is a personal preference, so take it as that when I say if you’re staying for over a week, I for one think the place should at least offer cleaning (even just to empty the trash) It would also have been wonderful if they provided drinking water I was also unlucky to have a cockroach living in my bathroom, so got jump scared a few times when opening the door before it hid away (so it took me days before I was able to catch and release it) however this may be more back luck than a negative on the property itself, just beware that because you’re in the jungle, there will be critters both inside and outside The roof was some kind of metal, so when it rained, it was extremely loud in the bungalow, not a huge problem, but maybe take note of it if you’re a light sleeper I added a lot under negatives but all minor things

Beautiful garden in a very quiet area, beautiful to wake up and sit on the little balcony with the a cup of coffee Note that you’ll need to have your own means of transportation if you want to avoid paying an arm and a leg for taxis, eg renting a motorbike (I rented one from the place) The staff was super friendly, just beware that due to lack of English, you sometimes had to call the owner via WhatsApp to sort out things like transfer, which to be fair got sorted fairly quickly after speaking to her I had a nice stay there, but there’s the potential to make stays amazing with a few minor adjustments

You need to have a scooter if you want to go around by yourself, as it’s a few minutes away from the “main street”, but it was a plus to me :)

The bungalows are spacious, new and clean, with an amazing view on the garden filled with tropical flowers and plants. It was very relaxing and just ten minutes (by scooter) away from nice beaches and restaurants. Perfect if you want to have a relaxing vacation!

The area is super quite and the bungalows are amazing! Super comfortable and well equipped. You will need a motorbike because it is a bit outside but thats completely worth it.

We 100% recommend staying here. We have been there for more than a week with my partner and everything has been more than perfect. Great location, just in the heart of the Island, close to everything by bike. Very relaxing place with an amazing garden. Good communication and kindness of the host. The bungalow is incredibly comfortable, beautiful, super clean, and equipped with everything you could need. It has exceeded our expectations! We would definitely stay here again.

Literally everything. The location is a bit secluded, but that was exactly what I was looking for. The place is quite new, meaning everything is very well maintained. The surrounding was like a little paradise with all the trees and the little river around. The owner was incredibly friendly, you could grab coffee in the morning and next door is a place opening for breakfast soon. Nothing more to ask for, great value for money :)

The hosts were very lovely and met our every need. We had to change rooms on arrival due to non working lock but it was not a big deal and as an apology we received a fruit plate next morning, which was a nice gesture. The place is a wonderful little paradise, the bungalows are located middle in the forest. We rented a scooter from the hosts for very fair price. We had a flat tyre the first evening but the host took care of everything and the scooter was ready next morning. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful and lovely place in the nature. The owners was the kindest people and the bungalow was clean, new and fresh. the bed was amazing. i loved to sit on my terrece and chill. And every morning was so nice to sit together with the owners and others and just joking and have fun. I already miss it.

Very nice bungalows in a quiet and remote place surrounded by nature. Beautiful garden with exotic trees and an open air bamboo shower where the only sounds you can hear are birds and other animals. Near the accommodation there is a small restaurant with good and cheap local food and you can also have a massage only 5 minutes walking distance. This place is not at the beach so it is away from the crowds which makes it perfect to chill out at the terrace or to enjoy the nature (there is also a cave 10 minutes walk). The owners and staff are also very kind and helpful and let us even check out a few hours later. The communication in English was also very good.

We fell in love with this place. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, as well as an equipped kitchen, hot showers and air conditioning. Faria and Prakob are two wonderful hosts who made our stay here unforgettable. They were always on call when we needed help and were kind and friendly to us. They helped us arrange a scooter, laundry service and even a barbecue in the garden. The garden is a little paradise. We loved sitting on the terrace of our bungalow and admiring the view. We think this place is perfect for those who love nature but also appreciate comfort. And those who like a good night's sleep will definitely enjoy this resort because it is located in a quiet and beautiful area.
