Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThe location is very much for someone who doesnt want to spend too much time in Phi Phi centre. You need to get taxi boats to and from the centre, and at night if you stayed in the centre past 8PM it was difficult and expensive to get back. We paid €25 for a taxi boat home one night because it was midnight and there was just the two of us. This was half the cost of 1 night in the hotel. We also had to get dropped over the other side and walk in the dark as the tide wasnt suited to being dropped home in a boat late at night. We walked to Phi Phi one day and this was 40 mins. If you dont plan to spend much time at the bars/restaurants etc in the centre then this is a great choice, if you want to be close to the island's amenities and be able to go for food & drinks, this isnt the best choice.
This hotel is located on a gorgeous beach that gets lots of sun. It was on the nicest beach in Phi Phi. The staff were really helpful and the food in the restaurant was really good. It was quiet and you couldnt hear the noise from the centre of Phi Phi so there were no disruptions.

United StatesThere were ants in the bed but when we told them they came and changed our sheets and sprayed bug spray. After that there were no ants or other issues! Thank you :)
On a gorgeous beach, not crowded at all, and the breakfast is pretty good! Even vegan friendly. this resort is on Long Beach island, which is a 10 minute boat ride from the pier. You won’t hear any loud bars or parties throughout the night because there isn’t really much on this little island. There are a few restaurants and a convenience store but that’s it. If you want to go shopping, go to karaoke bar or a dancing spot, get your hair done or anything like that, you need to pay 100-150 baht (depending on time of day) each way to go on a boat back to the main island. This resort has affordable tours that will take you to each island for snorkeling, beach fun, monkey sightings, etc. The staff is super helpful and nice. There’s butterflies all throughout the property that give it this magical majestic vibe… I would stay here again with my family. Maybe if I wanted to party I would stay on a resort on the main island of the pier.

ArgentinaVibes at the restaurant and bar are not as good as they should be to be called a RESORT but nothing terrible considering that you can take advantage of this to relax.
The beach is stunning and literally in front of shark point. Room is super confy. Restaurant menu is good and also has Vegetarian menu, pool is small but is enough… you have the clear sea water to swim come on.

Canada- When asked about tours, the hotel recommends this guy who has a bar - Let's Sea Bar - and a taxi/tour side business right on the side of the resort (I imagine they rent that property from the resort). DON'T DO IT!! I asked some information about the tours, but didn't feel very welcome. I was reading reviews online about the place and saw so many bad comments that I gave up booking with them. I asked for another option and they told me to check the hotel nearby (Phi Phi Long Beach Resort and Villa). I spoke with a gentle woman who booked for me a private longtail boat for a 4h tour (2.500 baths). - I was looking for a very calm place by the beach and that's exactly what this place is. I just want to warn you in case you are looking for a busy place with lots of restaurants and bars, this is the Center of Ko Phi Phi Don, not Long Beach. To arrive at Long Beach you will need a longtail boat (from 100-300 baths) and depend on having a group of people to share the boat. So if you want to stay until late in the Center, it's possible, but just plan it accordingly. The boat takes 10 minutes from the Center to Long Island.
This place is paradise! I am so glad I decided to pay a little extra and choose this resort in Long Beach. There are a few other options on this beach, but they are not as nice and in the best part of the beach. I was in a room very high on the property (number 424) with an amazing sea view (even though I booked a room with a partial sea view). I could walk down to the beach and restaurant easily 5 min in their beautiful property and see all the amazing trees and animals. The room is simple but the windows have an amazing view. There is a nice balcony. They picked me up from Phi Phi Don center (on the main pier) and provided a free longtail boat from and to the pier for check-in and check-out. The resort is right at the Long Beach, with nice chairs and umbrellas so you can rest all day watching the amazing view of Ko Phi Le island right in front of you. The beach has a nice snorkeling area where you can easily see several fish that stay (especially in the morning) in the stones. It is also just a few meters from the Shark Point (but unless you are a great swimmer I suggest to go on a long tail boat). Breakfast is really good. I also made all the meals in the resort. They have good food and decent prices for Ko Phi Phi Islands. I definitely recommend this place! **For private longtail boat tours! Just ask the hotel nearby (Phi Phi Long Beach Resort and Villa), 2 min walk. I spoke with a gentle woman, Noii, who booked for me a private longtail boat for a 4h tour (2.500 bath). The tour was amazing and I recommend it! I left to Maya Bay to avoid the crowds at 6:30AM and it was perfect. I enjoyed it so much that I booked another two snorkeling tours. I went on the boat Suradech, from Captain Chen. He knows all the great spots for snorkeling! **

Cleanliness just exceptional, room cleaned daily as well as complimentary fizzy drinks, orange juice and water! We had a birthday and they made the room up whilst we were out and it was beautiful! Location perfect, private beach, exceptional breakfast, friendly staff. Fire show each night just an added bonus, nice to see a family of brothers putting on a show together! Very talented.
