Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe place is under constructions (everyday until 17:00) and we didn't know about it. We asked to leave earlier because of the noise (and the distance from to centre) and they didn't let us.this was really disappointing
Nice rooms with options to air-Conditioner. Good food at the restaurant

United StatesNo AC although it does indicate in the listing. Would be nice to have in the future . Long distance between hotel and port then have to pay extra
Beach was nice and secluded away from main town . So felt very private

AustraliaNo aircon in the room, new rooms getting built with aircon.
A great location and really lived up to the name, the reef to the left was full of life, however the business is building more accommodation and needs to present better on the other side. All staff were amazing.

Right on the beach. Not too busy or touristy. Great food in the restaurant that sits right on the water. Friendly service and great day tours. Awesome sunsets and best mojitos! Very relaxing would definitely stay here again.

We'd travelled around quite alot and really needed somewhere to chill for few days and unwind. Came across this place and it was perfect. It was Private, quite white sandy beachs with clear sea good food and staff. Could hire snorkels for the day for pennies. Did a trip to see sharks but unfortunately never seen them but they didnt charge us full price alos did a half day your exploring phi phi stayed at maya beach absolutely beautiful went to some really good snorkeling spots was really good half day trip. Overall really enjoyed and would recommend.

New ZealandProbably advertised as more of a resort than it really is - no AC in rooms makes it hard to sleep at night. You can’t open the door either as monkeys or more bugs will get in. The shower pressure was weak and smells like rotten eggs with the water on. During our stay each day there was controlled burning with smoke blowing over the bungalows. Understand this may be necessary but didn’t help with the overall ambience. Be aware you will need to pay 150 baht per person to get to and from the resort each trip (check in, check out, day trips) Not a biggie but does add up.
Very friendly and helpful staff, food at the restaurant is decent. Great to have breakfast included which had a range of options. Beach was lovely.

PortugalWe did not enjoy at all the continuos loud motor noise that was almost constant from 06:00 to sometimes after 21:00. It kills the relax part of the Phi Phi Relax resort name.
We liked a lot the bungalows, the great beach in front of the resort, the fire show on the full moon night and the food at the restaurant.

TurkeyThere was no air conditioning in the rooms, only a fan and it was inadequate. There was no refrigerator in the rooms also. You have to go to the cafe and pay additional money for cold water. This was not enjoyable in the middle of the night. Going from phi phi pier to hotel also costs an additional fee.
Location is excellent, very calm and peaceful place.

AustraliaThe internet did not work consistently which wax frustrating. Prefer no internet to the expectation that it might work
The location, food and serving staff were excellent. It was well worth upgrading to a beachfront bungalow as the sunset from the balcony was fantastic. The swimming and snorkelling was lovely too, clean and just the right temperature.

United StatesDid not like that the property is too far from everything . The water taxi to and from the resort is expensive . The rooms are too hot and stuffy due to no AC . The fans in the room do not cool off enough. The water in the shower smells and barely any water pressure . The stairs up to the rooms are not very safe at night due to lack of lighting .
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The beach was very nice and clean. The property grounds were clean and well kept . Service overall was great

United KingdomI didn’t like the room, it was very outdated and the water in the toilet smelled so bad. I know that this is obvious if you are in a jungle but now one actually informed us of how much wild life there is. There was a swarm of monkeys when we checked in and it was super scary especially if you don’t have the right vaccines. There is also lots of bats, lizards and bugs. The room also had no AC so were boiling hot but couldn’t open the windows in case something comes in.
This property was beautiful. It was a resort on a remote island and it was surrounded by jungle a beautiful beach. Snorkelling, kayaking fishing and so much more available for everyone to do. They had a really good massage place as well. The staff members in this place were just exceptional. Everyone was so kind and helpful and they were always with a smile on their face.

United KingdomOnly very minor - but rather a rushed check in on arrival at reception compared to other places and a big list of rules at front of info booklet
Situated on a beautiful beach with vey good easily accessible snorkelling Right on the beach Restaurant staff were excellent making it a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere Even though it’s the only place there the prices for food and drinks were in line with other areas Can pay by card Very good instructions for getting the boat to the property

United KingdomIn order to get to the property you need to get their private transfer boat which only runs at certain times and costs 300 Bhat per person. So you need to time this with getting off ferry and any tours you do. We booked a tour that got back at 7.30pm and we would have had to pay >1700 bhat to get a private boat back to our hotel, so we could only stay one night there due to this. There were lots of sea urchins in the sea outside so bring shoes to wear in the water. No AC in bungalow so it got very hot however they provided two fans
This place was a haven away from the chaos of Phi Phi. It is a 20 minute boat ride away from the pier and the hotel staff were waiting at the boat terminal to greet you. It is located on the beach and the views from breakfast are lovely. The staff were wonderful there! Breakfast was included and was so tasty and the onsite restaurant and bar had so many options to choose from. Food was very good price and tasty. It is quite isolated from the rest of phi phi but they provide their own tours - we did not know this before arrival so had booked our own. Sunrise was lovely from the beach

Hong KongIt was quite hot & humid and our room didn't have AC. With the 2 fans we were good enough to sleep but AC would have been amazing.

United KingdomIf you want to be in the action you shouldn’t stay here, longboat service is 150 bhat per person, you have to pay this to get to the resort which we thought was a bit ridiculous! Understand when taking it for exploring but to actually reach the resort we thought it was a bit cheeky.
Beautiful resort. Great place to come if you want to switch off for a couple of days, regular boat services, the staff were very very accommodating (As-Ma looked after us SO well). We were lucky to get a room with AC which was amazing. Food was very good.
