The beach is too shallow to actually swim in unless you walk out 1km or so, wish we knew that! I also need to mention that while the management and service staff were amazing, the cleaning staff were very much not… Cleaning the room consisted of them folding 1 of the 2 blankets in the room and refilling our water. I had dirty towels on the floor that were just picked up and rehung…. Ewww. I complained to the front desk, and the cleaning staff came back and replaced one towel and left the other dirty one on the ground, didn’t empty the garbage or anything even after that! Very gross. And side note next time we will book a hotel on the west side of the island for a better sunset.

The private bungalows were cute, absolutely stunning to be beachfront when you wake up. The English breakfast was amazing, and we just loved a lot of the food there. The carbonara, the fruit… and that is a local cat that would hang out with us, very sweet boy.

The bathroom is a bit strange (there are stairs and shower head in strange location) also Bungalow with sea view was not in the first row of cabins.

Beautiful beach, good internet connection, quite calm place, good location to go everywhere by rented scooter. Delicious food at the restaurant as well.

Nice to be on the beach, but not a great swimming beach, especially afternoon and evening due to low tide. And was hoping sound of waves would lull me to sleep. Barely heard even thought bungalow was closest to the beach.

Good location although a bit out of the town. Motorbike helped. Very friendly staff.

Our bungalow was very small and getting to the bathroom for someone over 180cm in the middle of the night was a chalenge. As u need to step down thru not very high door frame...

Fabulous view. Friendly staff. Specially the gentleman in the bar was good laugh!! Beach was cleaned every day. The whole resort is beautifly set in a green gardens.

Our aircon leaked every night we were there onto my husbands legs. We were unlucky and had bad rain one night and woke up to our room being flooded as the water came under our front door. Luckily we caught it before it got to our luggage but had to use the towels to dry the floor and mop up the water.

Great location, walking distance to lots of things. Lovely room right on the beach which was so clean and looked after well. Staff were lovely and food was really nice.

We had problems with air conditioning, they tried to fix those problems but they didn't manage to fix them. Bathrooms should be renovated.

I did not like that there was no option to put a tag on my door to say do not disturb, as they cleaned my room without my knowing.

The Air conditioning in our room only seemed to do really cold and the shower head could do with changing as it was pretty poor.

The location is excellent, right on the beach with a great sunset view! The staff are super polite and extremely attentive and were probably the highlight of the stay. Rooms were decent and the food was good, could organise pretty much anything we wanted through reception such as scooters and taxis.

The housekeeping could do an upgrade. We stayed for 3N/4D in the sea view bunglows and the sheets were not changed even once during our stay. The room was not sweeped properly, the packets and left overs from last night was still lying on the floor after the daily housekeeping was done. The bathroom had a pungent smell when the lights were switched on because the switch for lights and exhaust were same, and as soon as the exhaust was on, it pulled in a very weired and pungent smell. The could also install intercoms within the room for any room service etc.

The View is to DIE FOR!!! Not to mention the amazing sunset you get to see sipping cocktails from the cabana right outside your villa! This resort is all about the white sandy beach PRIVATE becah exclusively for it guests only! The upkeep of the beach is quite good, the staff cleans the private becah area of the resort multiple times in a day. The front office staff is polite, I tried a few dishes and breakfast days at property, the food is nice too! They have 2 cabanas and 4-5 hammocks across the resort's common area, all of which has a great view for sunset!❤️ Food is priced decently, but sometimes you can skip and enjoy the local cafes in the vicinity. The location is good is terms of access, 15mins away from Pier and 25mins away from haad rin party beach (we rented the scooty/motor bike via hotel because it's safe).

Nice property, Direct at a wonderfull beach. funny little cabins, no luxery. the restaurant provides good food for desent prices. Breakfast is a la carte, in case you care for.

The reason we gave it a 9 are the following: - The beach is very rocky and has many broken sea shells. This makes it very difficult and dangerous to go in unless you have watersheds or proper sandles. Even with these, you do run the risk of cuts. - The room was great for what we needed. It did have two flaws. The bathroom was small and had the shower in it with no separation, and everything got soaked. Make sure to remove toilet paper before showering. - The bathroom has no insulation and is not completely sealed to the outdoor elements. With this being said, make sure you are OK with the occasional gecko visiting your bathroom and sometimes even your room. Think of it as glamping. Being beachfront, there is a risk of ants if you leave any food open in your room. The staff do a great job of advising you of this. There is an option of a deluxe bungalow, which we understand is a bit more closed off, but we didn't take a look at it. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time while we visited. Thank you to the team for a great stay.

This resort has great location, amazing food, and gorgeous views. We stayed in a wooden bungalow with beach access. The views were incredible and just steps away from the beach. The food and service exceeded our expectations. Everything we ordered was made fresh and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend the pad thai 👌. Nice pool and beachfront bar to enjoy the sunsets. Located near 7/11 and various restaurants and massage locations. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time while we visited. Thank you to the team for a great stay.

Great location, the property is very well cared for and spotlessly clean. Rooms and bathrooms have been very carefully thought out as to what a tourist wants and cleverly designed. Views and beach are perfect.

The accommodation has a beautiful location by the sea, close to various restaurants and shops. But the best thing about this resort is the staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They really made our stay here a success. This is one of the reasons why it is highly recommended by me!

Far from full moon party and any other major places so need to spend a lot of money on taxis or rent a scooter. There was no AC in our room and it was horrible it got so warm. I asked staff for room upgrade or an extra tan but they ran out of fans and villas. We only had a small fan which blew hot air back at us and it got very hot we had to sit outside and cool down in 30 degrees heat. f

The bar and restaurant at the hotel were great as well as the staff working at it. The location was good if you have a scooter or get a taxi as around 15 minute drive to the full moon party. The rooms were clean.

Loved the location, the staff, the rooms, they range from basic to more luxurious but whichever you choose they are clean and very well cared for as are the grounds… a Seaview bungalow was our only option when we booked, it had aircon plus a fridge and was more than adequate for a short stay & good value considering what we paid. We were told we’d get the best full English breakfast here which was quite true so if you’re craving English food I’d highly recommend the restaurant.

I didn't sleep very well. I've stayed in rooms in Thailand that have fans as opposed to AC and they haven't felt quite as hot as tbe bungalow did. But I think they offer AC accomodation and I'd whole-heartedly recommend it. Even with a lack of sleep, I would stay here again haha! There's a few adjustments could be made. Something like a small desk, table and/or chair in the corner of the bungalow would be nice to fill the gap. There were so many ants by the pool that could be taken care of. And though I loved the quirkiness of the bungalow, there were many hazards; rounding the corner of the stairs in the bathroom for example, would be a great amendment. All small things that don't take away from a great place!

I looooved Phangan beach resort and think it made my stay on Phangan. I loved the island and the resort well represents the laid-back, beauty of Phangan. I loved the bungalows and the facilities available outside, from the restaurant selling both Thai and Western food at decent prices, to the pool, hammocks and loungers, it felt very luxurious and good value for money.
