Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BangladeshI booked through booking.com and had a request for late checkout between 15:00 to 16:00. I got late checkout conformation mail from booking.com. Unfortunately Petals Inn manager not accept that approval mail which I received from booking.com. Be careful on it!!!!!!!!!

I like that the hotel is near Nana plaza, and easily accesses 7-11 convenient store, a lot of street food outside the hotels, the toilet also cleans, and clean our room everyday.

With Petals you know what you are getting. It is a pretty basic budget hotel in a good location which has everything you need. Everything is on your doorstep and the staff are very friendly, and rooms good. It is not luxury but its good for what you need and I would stay here again

The taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel as the sign was not obvious after dark, we got dumped on the street by the taxi after he made a several attempts...it took us 45 mins found the hotel, never again after 10 hours flight with large luggage! Had best massage from P's massage by no.9 - Dang and Yummy street food near by made up for it, we had dinner at the Irish pub on the same street were delicious. Room lights were way too dim and watch out for the sharp coner of the bed base! Overall the location was good & ok with the budget.

AustraliaTiles in room..bathroom and shower were cracked and loose in floor...room continually smelled like poo and area near lift in reception was also smelling of poo so must have issues with sewage plumbing throughout hotel ... area in reception and to the lift has low roof and anyone over 180cms tall will have to duck their heads to walk through these areas
