You have to stay in the first 4, 5 bungalows. Further back the generator is too loud, the lights from the staff guarters are too bright.

Tide goes out so far, it makes it difficult to get to deeper water, if one wanted to swim.

Quiet out of the way spot with about 20 bungalows. We had a stand alone unit with a beach view. It wasn't too busy, so at times it was just us on the beach, or at the tables on the sand having a drink. The restaurant food was better than I expected. Prices are a little higher that town. Everything needs to be trucked in, about a 30 minute trip, and this likely adds to the cost. No hot water first thing in the morning, but plenty for the rest of the day as the weather heats up. There was a nice breeze for most of the time we were there. Did a little beach combing. Lots of soldier crabs and star fish in the shallows. Very relaxing stay!

It was cash only which we didn’t realise, no card machines for miles & we didn’t have transport so had to be careful with the little cash we had. We booked our pick up with them & it wasn’t at the airport to collect us, we had to get help from a stranger.

Beautiful beach & views. The food was lovely & the smoothies were awesome. It was super quiet & not many people at all.

Very shallow sea, not for bathing. So many mosquitos after sunset. Having a rented motorbike is a must here.

Great place to be remote, be alone, very few people, no kids, everybody respecting the pieceful spirit of this place. Lovely coconut welcome drink. Great staff.

Made arrangements for speedboat to Phuket plus transfer through the hotel but the taxi was nearly an hour late causing others already on the speedboat having to wait for us. Arrange it yourself would be my advice.

The cabins are great - very comfy, clean and everything you need. Staff are friendly but not overly attentive (hard to get refills without having to go up to the bar yourself. The breakfast is simple but good and fresh. The only major drawback is the beach, which is not good for swimming. It looks great in pics but you can walk out more than 500m and water still not up to your waist! The water is also a bit murky. The resort is very peaceful and relaxing and isolated from the hoards of tourists elsewhere.

It’s not the best if you want to use it as a base for day trips. We used a scooter but at night the road is long and dark and it’s quite far on a scooter to get around. They are building new bungalows so the views from the room aren’t very pretty like we hoped unless you’re closest to the ocean in most expensive rooms.

Very clean bungalows. The beds are big and really comfortable. The beach has a lovely view. Staff made everything easy. Good breakfasts! Handy free shuttle to Ao Nang.

The place is 15 min drive from Ao Nang and it is advisable to rent a scooter or have a car, although they have a shuttle to downtown.

The property was quite far out of the way, we knew this when booking and this is what drew us to the property. However, it is too far out of the way for grabs or taxis to agree to come and pick you up. The hotel staff were sooo helpful in arranging lifts for us off the staff and their driver but we needed some really early morning lifts and felt really bad asking for this, but like I say, the staff were so helpful!!!

The property was lovely, new bungalows fully furnished and cleaned to a high standard. The staff were so helpful and the food at the hotel was delightful.

The beach is not that far from the entrance to the little touristic harbour, so in the morning, it can be a bit loud with all the boats going in and out. Pan Beach aims to be a sustainable place, so it works with generators, therefore no hot water. Tbh is not a big issue as the water for the shower, tends to be lukewarm till the evening; however, be informed that if you arrive late at night it may not be ideal and get ready to a cold ish shower (the staff happily and very attentively boiled some hot water for us though)

The setting is perfect for relaxing and is clear from moment one that there is a common understanding that this is a quiet, relaxing and sustainable holiday place. The pleasure of living on the beach with easy access to your bungalow and you can forget about wearing your shoes! Bring a book, enjoy the lovely atmosphere, food, healthy drinks and the lovely staff who would walk the extramile to make you happy. The bed was super comfy, the bungalow and the common areas very clean and well looked after. Perfect for couples, not too far away from Ao Nang with a taxi ride or motorbike, for a more lively night. The beach is private but just expect to walk a bit to reach the sea if the tide is low.

Loud discomusic every evening from 8 p.m till morning from Ao Nang Island, boats sound all day long, coz pier is near by, on the beach plastic bottles and other trash.

Staff are amazing, clean bungalows, and no people on the beach.

There is no fridge in the room diesel generator kicked in after 6 o’clock in the evening so there was some noise of the engine running all night

Sometimes there were ants in the bathroom but its ok - rooms are in the nature.

We liked the silence, restaurant and beach garden. You can rent motorbikes 300B/day.
