The water pressure of the shower is really bad. It takes a lot of time to shower because of that. Also, I think when someone downstairs uses the water, we get even less water on the shower. It would be a great thing to fix that.

Owners were super friendly and had a lot of great suggestions! Rooms were also very clean. I stayed in the female dorm and found everyone super respectful, quiet, clean and friendly. Also love the entrance to do some work. One of my favorite hostels I encountered in Thailand.

The location was superb and the facilities were faultless. The rooms were ideal and the beds were really comfy, very good value for money. The staff were all so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, going out of their way to know my travel plans and how to best help me make the most out of my time.

This was my first time in Chiang Mai, and I am so glad I chose Pakping Hostel. The room was very clean and cozy, and the host couple were incredibly nice. Their baby was also super adorable. I had a truly unforgettable week here and made many wonderful friends.

This was a great place to stay!

This was a really lovely hostel! Paul and his wife are super friendly and helpful, and I felt right at home. I especially appreciate that Paul helped figure out alternative activities (and made calls to confirm whether tours were running) when my tour cancelled last minute. The dorm beds felt really private and also had two lockers (one beneath the bed, and a small one on the side of the bed). There is a nice common area, and because of the setup, it was really easy to socialize with other guests. There is filtered water to refill your bottle with. Location was great: on a quiet street but within short walking distance of most destinations in the Old City. A few excellent coffee shops nearby (which the hostel staff provides recommendations via WhatsApp on check-in). Overall, I'm glad I stayed here, and I'll definitely stay here again the next time I am in Chiang Mai.

Best hostel in Chiangmai, the owners Koki and Paul are super lovely and genuine people that take great care of their guests and go the extra mile. They really pour their heart into their small business. Rooms and facilities are very clean, the mattresses get steam cleaned and in the two weeks I stayed here the bedding has been changed several times, fresh towels provided, the beds are spotless. Staff is very kind too and breakfast is provided. Fresh cold/hot water, coffee, tea and sweets are free around the clock. No cooking facilities but microwave and big fridge. It’s very quiet even in the shared accommodation yet super central and great cafes, shops, launderette, restaurants, park, massage, yoga studios, temples at your doorstep or in walking distance. This place attracts good people, no party place, it’s social yet quiet, met very friendly travelers here, good WiFi got a lot of work done and it’s great to chill in the common areas and read a book etc. Early and late check ins possible and smooth, good advice on tours or things to do in the area if you’re interested. Communication is easy and swift they speak perfect English and are well traveled themselves. Highly recommend.

Water pressure is super weak so I couldn't properly wash my hair. The AC was spitting droplets of water :( making the dorm very humid.

Breakfast is actually included, with toasts, peanut butter, jam, cereals and fresh fruits along with tea coffee and milk. Very comfy female dorm, the beds are big enough and private. The private bathroom was cleaned daily and the trash bins emptied several times a day. Zee Zee and Koki are so nice and helpful! Very clean place and I love the mezzanine level with the bean bags!

Very cute and homely hostel - everything was perfect! It was relatively quiet but still social and I enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning which always had some fruit options. There were big lockers in the room where you could store your bags, the beds were really comfy and very little light coming through the curtain

Great location, small social yet quiet no party hostel, met lovely people here. Very good value for money, good aircon, clean, clean bathroom and bedding, very pleasant atmosphere and common area to relax, study, read, work..very helpful and kind hosts. There is a small spa just at the corner run by a sweet lady who also does laundry at a very good price, very convenient. Felt very safe here and slept really well in the female dorm. Locker keys and fresh towel are provided at 300 Baht deposit. I’ll be back.
