We stayed here for two nights. The staff, rooms and resort are fantastic! We were originally going to stay for 4 nights but decided to change our plans on short notice. The owner was very accommodating and let us change our booking, despite it originally being non-refundable. Great customer service!

Beware that depending on the location of your bungalow you might have to climb more or less stairs, so if accessibility is something important for you, this might not be the best place to stay. The bathroom does not have a separation between shower and WC, which is quite common for this sort of architecture. We were fine with it as the floor dried up quite quickly after each shower. Other than that, very top accommodation for the price-performance ratio.

The staff were super welcoming and hospitable at all times. They really worked hard to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, helping us booking a taxi to the pier, and renting a car, which in Koh Phangan can be a bit of a challenge. The breakfast was superb. It is not the standard breakfast buffet you would find at other accommodations. Instead they had a menu with different dishes you could choose from and as much as you wanted, so great if you are into brunching. Breakfast is open from 9 am to 5 pm. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, so the only thing you can really hear is the sound of bird chirping and some house cats walking around with their bells. The sea view was breathtaking even from a partial sea view bungalow.

Breakfast is served until 5pm! What a great idea! They don't do buffet style, you order off the menu so it's all fresh. Room service is free, too! You just get charged menu prices. They also give you 6 bottles of water a day - not the usual 2. And laundry is charged at the same price as if you used the local laundry service. All these touches mean we will book again next year. It's a shame other hotels don't do the same. The rooms are big and are very bright. The ones with sea view and partial sea view are brilliant. The service is excellent - every member of staff is lovely.

Pool area could do with some new sun beds. Lots of stairs the closer you get to the sea, so if you want a beach view, be prepared for a walk to your room.

Air conditioning should be moved in other position, the fan from it should not be blowing straight into your head. Should consider lower and softer pillows.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is AWESOME. You should definitely try the yoghurt with muesli. Very close to Zen Beach & Coco Loco. Room very clean, good mattress. Helped us renting a scooter. Amazing view, great sunset view.

Nothing. A small drawback was only the sea area adjacent to the hotel is isolated by rock cliffs, and no immediate beach is there. Not possible to walk to the near beach by the sea, have to walk (2-3 min, so no much problem) on the street before reaching a good walkable area leading to the beach.

Excellent place. The room (bungalow) was very clean and comfortable, and the airconditioner was quiet, which is not always the case in other hotels. We stayed in 5 hotels overall in Thailand and here was the best room experience: the bed, furniture, overall design, outside views to the sea the terrace. Nice swimmingpool. Staff friendly and caring. Tasty drinks at the bar. Location is conveniently close to 2 beaches and the city, and overall good for walks (but it takes ~200 m on the road before you reach a way to turn from the road and there is no immeadiate beach to start walking right from the hotel).

Creaky doors on the bedrooms you can hear your neighbours going in and out of their room. The hotel is built on a hillside , the rooms have two levels with steep steps taking you down to the bedroom area, not a bad thing just something to be aware of, steep steps down to a rocky part of the beach

Beautifully decorated and relaxed vibe , hippy feel about it, they have small stingrays and fish in the water next to reception you can watch just glide, rooms and beds are a good size , shampoo conditioner and shower gel all provided, great pool and amazing views of sea and sandy beaches, you can watch the sunset

Pool area has so much potential but looked a bit run down. Not a negative point but it's worth mentioning that the hotel doesn't really have it's own beach (it's quite rocky and not accessible during low tide).

We really enjoyed our stay at Zama. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly & helpful. The location is great for exploring the island even without hiring a scooter (we didn't feel comfortable with a 4 year old). You can easily get a taxi to many amazing beaches (Haad Yao, Mae Haad, Zen for sunsets), while Secret Beach and Koh Raham is a short 15 min walk away. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, some of the best we had on Koh Phangan.

We loved our stay at Zama. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent! Amazing beaches like Secret Beach very close, Zen Beach for Sun Set, Salad Beach and Ko Ma for snorkeling and relaxing close with a scooter. Thank you Zama for our amazing time!

Pool area in need of some repair, but this is overshadowed by the amazing sunset location. Main road can be busy and not so great to walk on at night, although you can access the beach from the other side of the hotel.

Very helpful staff. Nice sunset location. Can walk to small beaches and bars/cafes in 5-10 mins. Very good food. Apart from breakfast, we ate at the restaurant twice in the evening. Bungalows seem quiet at night. Easy to arrange scooter hire. Good yoga spot 2 mins walk. Plenty going on in area.

The furniture in the room was a little tired but added to the charm of the resort for us. There’s quite a lot of stairs throughout the resort but this didn’t bother us, could be an issue if you have mobility issues but I’m sure you could request a room closer to the main area
