Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesFisherman’s Village is a 7min walk in deep sand down the beach. Not too bad, but not fun either. And I am very fit. Besides the Village, there is nothing else around the hotel on the main road that’s appealing just a convenience store. The resort is better for couples. Next time I might consider one of the hotels located closer to Fishermans Village.
Great Bungalows and very private. This really is a fantastic resort, but it’s better for couples than for singles. It’s quiet and relaxing.

United KingdomAlthough the beach is good, clean with plenty of sunbeds and not too busy, the sea floor does drop off quite steeply and the water is not the clearest with coarse rather than the powdery sand which you get on most of the other beaches.
Lovely location and accomodation. Rooms were large and spacious and beach location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were good. An easywalk along the beach to Fishermans Village for a large selection of restaurants and bars in the evening.

CanadaDon't know if it was just the time that we were there but there were quite a few children on the resort. Obviously, i know it is not adults only but if kids aren't what you're looking for, maybe check elsewhere
The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and made for an amazing stay. Breakfast was also very good, something for everyone and tasty. Pool was great, we always found sun loungers but did notice it could be difficult for some in the afternoon when it was busiest. Beach was nice with paddleboards and kayaks to use for free. Restaurant had happy hour but is pricier than other bars and restaurants in the area.

Lovely luxury details at this hotel, decorated beautifully and the staff were all so polite and friendly. Great location along distance from fisherman’s village and lovely beach, though the sand is a little rough, free paddle boards and kayaks which was nice!

United StatesEvery morning people marked their pool chairs by breakfast time. Many times towels laid on chairs for hours with no owners nearby. Just be sure to get your towel and mark your spot early.
The resort was great, they even had gluten free pancakes, bread, and muffins at breakfast, you just need to ask. It was quiet and a short walk to the night market at fishermans village. Staff were excellent, friendly, and always helpful. We felt relaxed with our 9 month old baby.

AustraliaBeach did slope quite steeply, not very ideal for little ones. Steps too the beach quite steep. Could have a few more sunbeds available around the pool as sometimes difficult to find a spot to sit and relax. The meals in restaurant were bit expensive if you ate there every day compared to local restaurants. One of the public ladies toilet by the pool area often not working. The room was great, great hanging rail but not too many hangers. A cupboard or drawers would be a bonus if staying for extended time.
Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Main pool was good, great facilities for little ones with a shallow splash pool and play area. Staff member Patrick was very good, very attentive friendly and welcoming was always so busy. Happy hour from 3-5pm was very good.. cool towels provided complimentary on a few of the very hot days which was very welcome. All staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was compact but modern clean and lots of attention to detail.

AustraliaThe restaurant on the beach is fabulous, great food and the decor is beautiful, a feature for families is the option to sit not on the beach but on the other side closer to children’s play area so they can play on the lawns while you’re in the restaurant. Beautiful pool and well laid out.

United StatesBreakfast didn't meet expectations; for example, the coffee machines were consistently out of coffee, the milk for the cereal was room temperature at best - usually warm. We ate breakfast there and only one other meal due to the food just not being that good. Also, the pool towels were consistently not available.
Location, facilities and staff were are great. We specifically like the fitness center and game room, however, disappointed it closed so early at 8 pm.

GermanyThere is not enough staff in the breakfast restaurants and in the pool area, espcially for cleaning the tables, sun beds and other things. Here, we were disappointed, given the higher prices than in the past. Also, the beach is ok but not cleaned every day. Towels are often used to save the best sun beds, unfortunatetly ignored by the management. Happy hour is from 3 to 5, which is unsusal, it should be 5 to 7 and include more choices.
We have been often in the Peace Resort and still like this place very much - the calm and relaxed atmosphere, the great bungalows, the beautiful tropical garden, the beach with the clean water and the palm trees, the massages and more. It has become a bit pricy but still a good value. Bungalows are well equipped and very clean. Breaksfat offers many choices, including Thai and Chinese food, great! Fishermens village is a short walk and offers all sort of entertainment and dining options.

United KingdomNothing I can think of.
Rooms very comfortable and cleaned every day . The location was perfect - secluded and quiet location on a private beach but just 10 min walk into centre of Fisherman’s Village, which was packed full of classy restaurants, bars with live sports or music, lots of choice of boutique type shops etc. The grounds are kept immaculate and cleaned constantly. The breakfast is great with lots of choice and the hot buffet breakfast menu is changed around each day for variety.
