There was some maintenance work going on round the pool bar which would have been nice to be notified about but it never put us off!

The property and facilities were amazing! We had our own little detached villa and it felt like a home away from home! The place was spotless and well maintained. We were greeted by the most welcoming staff. Once checked in we were whisked from reception to our villa on a golf cart! The villas were well spaced out and never felt like we were on top of another. We were a couple minutes from everything; reception, pool, beach, breakfast. The food and drinks were well priced for a hotel too! The pad krapow from the pool bar menu was great! The views you get from the pool bar is just stunning too! We are already looking to come back and stay for longer next time! Would highly recommend this to anyone!

there was some ongoing construction work at the resort. Brekafast spread was a it limited in choices could do with a bit more variety

Staff was very nice and courteous and went out of their way to help us especially in booking the activities that we desired. They were also more than willing to accomodate our request for late checkout as we had a late evening flight.

    We loved everything

This was my wife and I first time in Thailand. Peace Resort was an experience we will never forget...the atmosphere, the ambiance was totally unforgettable.. We can not say enough about the staff. From our room service to the restaurant and bar staff. Waiter Sing was the most prompt, generous, and gracious waiter we have ever have...hands down the best. I would recommend Peace Resort and Sing if you want a wonderful and lasting experience in Samui. We will definitely be coming back

Nothing bad to say. Everything was perfect.

I had my wedding at Peace Resort in September with a party of 12. We stayed at the resort for 1 week 4th-11th September in a range of room types. Everything was absolutely perfect: the rooms, the friendly staff, the food and especially the wedding service offered at the resort. 3 members of my party had allergies/intolerances (nuts, gluten, dairy) and I was concerned about how well this would translate, however they were catered to at every point with no issue whatsoever. Organising the wedding was simple and costs were completely transparent upfront. I selected the package, whatever add-ons I wanted and then made some minor decisions like cake flavour, flowers, music and arch. It was so easy, I appreciated the stress-free experience. I went with both the photographer and videographer options and the everything came out so beautiful and professional. The day went smoothly and we were taken care of throughout. So much delicious food and cocktails! For the rest of the stay: the rooms were clean and spacious, my husband and I were even offered a free upgrade for the week! The location is perfect (quiet but in close proximity to the Fisherman’s Village so lots going on). There’s a spa onsite with plenty of on-the-day availability (at least when we visited in September), I’ve never felt so pampered in my life. We will absolutely be returning for our anniversary in the future.

AC in gym wasn't very effective. The sea was quite murky when we visited. I think it's better on other beaches. I think this is just due to it's position and the composition of the seabed. We had a terrace room on the first floor. The rooms were quite dark as they have a large covered balcony beyond the room. Also the wood is dark in the rooms but that's just the thai style.

This is a wonderfully serene resort with amazing staff. The rooms and grounds are kept beautifully clean. All the staff are kind and friendly. The breakfast was really good, it catered for a wide range of needs. You could have everything from a chicken curry with rice to an English style cooked breakfast to fruit and yogurt...and freshly cooked eggs of your choice. Really outstanding. I also loved how eco friendly the hotel was. Reusable glass yogurt pots at breakfast, washable slippers in the rooms, minimum use of plastic. The resort is ideally placed to walk into fishermans village and the vibrant market. Pool could get busy so we tended to use the hotel's sunbeds on the beach. I would recommend.

Breakfast had good variety like eggs, yogurt and hot food but the quality is short of what one gets at a 5 star chain hotel.

Great resort with facilities like swimming pool, restaurant, games room, massage and nail salon on site. We enjoyed the pool, the view from the restaurant, and the massage on site. Rooms are well sized and clean.

The only suggested change is a very minor one. The pillows on the bed were a little thicker than either of us were accustomed to sleeping on, so we had to swap out to other pillows, which were already in the room. Maybe the sheets could have been a little softer too. However, that did not in anyway change our feeling about the wonderful stay we had. Oh, and I should mention that the pool is also just perfect! The temperature, setting, chairs, and service. Excellent!

The resort is really just perfect - super clean, great cozy villas with the right amount of amenities, and the location (close to Fisherman's Village) is fantastic.

If the cost of drinks and evening meals were a bit less expensive then the resort maybe a bit more popular in the evenings. I guess that's why it's called...Peace.

Great location just close enough to walk to all the local restaurants and evening Market (Street food, shopping and entertainment). "Peace"is an accurate and well chosen name for this resort. The breakfast is exceptional and facilities perfect for a base on a great Thai island. If you want a relaxing break its quiet enough for a proper relaxing holiday.

The drinks menu is quite pricy, the happy hour between 3pm & 5pm with buy one get one free was reasonable value but outside of the a bit of a rip-off..... Sorry!

The resort is in an excellent location on the beach. It is a short walk by road or beach to Fisherman's Village. Facilities are top class and the staff are excellent.

Although not dirty there were little things that could have been dealt with like tears in the net curtains, better fitting doors and window frames to keep the pesky mosquitos out!

It was pleasant enough. Villa rooms were good size. Air conditioning excellent! Restaurant good and all staff were charming and attentive and polite.

Pool temp was a bit too hot (32/33 degrees celsius), staff frowned upon feeding the kittens that were usually there, and service was a bit slow during happy hour. Also, the pillows in the bedroom were way too high and firm, I started sleeping with one of the decorative pillows to avoid a stiff neck.

Lovely bungalows, enjoyed the breakfast with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Some people tried to do the usual "I'll leave a towel on the sunbeds to save them for later" and I loved that the staff regularly went around picking up towels!

The 2 bedroom villa we booked was not clearly advertised as 2 separate, unconnected buildings. Though they were next to each other and sharing the pool, we thought they were attached. This would not be good for families with young children but worked out okay for us and our teens. Also, the pool closes way too early. If quiet hours start at 10pm, why not have it open until at least 9pm? We did not eat any meals at the restaurant as we thought the prices were a bit steep, but there are plenty of delicious, well-priced restaurants to easily walk to close by.

Breakfast was amazing and left us full until dinner. The pool was clean but warm and large for everyone to enjoy. There wasn't a detail left out and staff were amazingly attentive and so happy. Our room was cozy, clean and welcoming. The 2 bedroom villas were a splurge for us and the space and luxury they provided was exactly what we were looking for after 10 days of busy Thailand travel.

The restaurant is definitely on the expensive side when it comes to food in Thailand. For us, the convenience was worth it, as we only stayed for one night and had an early flight the next day. At other hotels, we had gotten used to being very close to a 7-11 where you can buy all kinds of fun and interesting Thai snacks. We didn't make it to the 7-11 or the Fisherman's Village, because the resort had everything we needed for a day and we had heard the walk was a little annoying, being down a main road busy with traffic.

We absolutely loved staying at Peace Resort. It was really the details that made the experience special. We booked a car from the pier with them and were greeted upon our arrival at the hotel with cold fruit juice and cold perfumed towels to refresh ourselves. We arrived early in the morning and staff whisked our luggage away to a safe spot, encouraged us to enjoy the pool, restaurant, and beach, and even let us check in hours earlier than we expected. Large, fresh towels are provided at the pool and beach sections. In the room, they provided cookies and fruit for our arrival and a natural citronella bug repellent spray that we used liberally. The room had a lovely little candle or incense (not sure which) already burning when we arrived. Each little villa has a little porch area with a laundry rack where you can hang your swimsuit up to dry. We missed the complimentary breakfast as we had an early flight, but the front desk made sure to offer us breakfast boxes, with a fruit option and a ham and cheese sandwich option. For lunch and dinner, we found the restaurant to be very good, if a little expensive. They have a pretty wide selection of different styles of food to choose from, including both Thai classics and Western fare. I can't speak to the Western fare, but the Thai food was very good, and didn't skimp on the fun ingredients we like to see in Thailand, like fresh chilli, fresh herbs, green peppercorn, etc. My companion found the Thai tea wasn't sweet enough for her, but it was just perfect for me (and I imagine they might have been able to make it sweeter upon request.) We loved having easy access to the beach and spent most of the day lying in beach chairs or floating in the water! There's also a nail salon and massage parlor at the resort (not included in the room cost, for an extra charge.) We got Thai massages with oil and found them very relaxing, and the masseuses very precise and skilled.
