Quite many blackouts due to the wind in the area. Our AC went down for all night and morning however, staff fixed it in the morning.

Beautiful room with a seaview. Very kind and helpful staff. Free transfer from and to the pier worked well. Snorkeling gear were good.

Beautiful traditional family Seaview room but had a lot of steps down to the apartment and then more steps down to Shark Bay. Had lovely experience with staff and food there but struggled withe uneven steps. Suited to younger mote agile people but beautiful views over Shark Bay n Sewan viewpoint just up the road.. Its an uphill walk back from 711 so bring supplies in with you

Would have been helpful to know info about hiring bike at check in. No one at reception from 8pm and no bar or restaurant after 8pm. Not easy to walk to nearest place for food and shop. Offering tea and coffee in rooms would be helpful, alongside the kettle and cups.

Location was superb for snorkelling - loved seeing the turtles. Good view sea bungalow was amazing, view beautiful. Lots of steps tho!

Be aware that its many steps to the best view rooms, in my case I had pain at one of my feet so wasn't easy to go up and down. Plus don't expect sandy beach at the bottom of the hotel it is only rocks and direct sea access. Needs renovation in the rooms and bathroom.

The location is exceptional, we had the rooms with the closest access to the sea and sunrise were amazing. We loved how helpful the staff was and the additional service such as kayak, snokerl, etc. The rooms romantic sea view was nice although it misses a bit of renovation.

If you have mobility issues, the stairs may be challenging to get around. Not an issue for the young and fit though.

We had a lovely stay for 7 nights total at Taatoh Seaview Resort. The location is amazing with gorgeous views from the bungalows. You can access the water for snorkelling right from the resort. We spent 2 nights in the Romantic Seaview Bungalow and the large deck at the sea front was so magical at all times of the day! The main stay in the Sea view bungalow was also great and very functional and comfortable, with a nice deck and view over Shark Bay. The bungalows are all unique and a bit rustic and quirky. This place is great if you like a more authentic and traditional style Thai experience. The staff in this family-run business were very kind, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is also superb - maybe my favourite restaurant in Thailand! The thai food at the restaurant was fantastic, also nice drinks available. The restaurant view is also second to none! There is a good paved road and the resort is easy to access on a scooter (not super steep or windy like some areas of Koh Tao)

There were some dust falling from the ceiling to our bed and in the bathroom. It wasn’t a big deal but it was a bit unpleasant to see it on the bed.

The view was amazing. The staff was lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is right at shark bay.

A waterrefill place would be nice as the next supermarket is not really close if you have to walk.

Our family bungalow was really cute. The terrace with the amazing seaview was great. The stuff is gorgious. The little beach is lovely, but really small and it's hard to get into the water when it is low tide. There is s free shuttle to and from the pier.

The stairs.... too many expecially for the good seaview bungalows. The bathrooms would need some updating.

The staff was really really nice, helpful and sweet. We had two bungalows one had a big issue with the ac of the neighbour bungalow and they did everything they could to solve the issue. The seaview bungalows are really nice with a beautiful view over the shark bay. Wouldn't recommend good seaview at the sea front. Good snorkeling with turtles in front of the hotel.

Be aware that the bungalows are not very accessible if you have trouble with stairs! We had a fair few stairs to get to our bungalow and being nearly 8 months pregnant, it definitely took me awhile to get up and down every day.

The view from our room was beautiful and our balcony overlooked Shark Bay. Staff were super lovely and always available to answer our questions and help us with anything we needed such as transport to other parts of the island, etc. Food at the restaurant was delicious! And location was great, close enough to walk to Chalok baan kao bay which was the best beach we visited on our trip to Thailand!
