The room was clean and spacious. There is a separate living area to the bedroom and bathroom, which works well. The bed was large, comfortable and the aircon was good. There were very few people in the hotel, so they opened the restaurant up for us. The food was decent, there's no alternatives around unless you have a scooter. Its a little way out of town. The hotel is cheap and considering what you get for your money, it's great value.

I can not recommend the food in their restaurant - worst Thai food I have eaten in 30 years. For the price I expected a better standard of finish in the rooms. The unit was split into two rooms, but the lounge room was unusable space as there was no aircon & it got super hot during the day. It's a bit far from anything but I could not get a Grab or Bolt to pick me up to take me to the town near the train station to get food elsewhere.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The pool & bar area were a nice place to hang out.

We were only there as a transition to Koh Samui to catch the ferry. Accommodation had a great bar and also restaurant. However we didn't use as we went down the street and found an amazing place to eat. No English, but with Google translater managed to order food and it was fantastic. We spent just one night, and we choose it for its convenient position and distance to the railway station. The hotel is very nice, rooms are big and clean. We tried the restaurant, and it was good. They also have an interesting choice of beers. Breakfast has a sweet option, and is good. Staff is nice and helpful. We didn't try the pool, but the pool area is nice and inviting

The only slight wrinkle was I found the bed a little firm but this was soon remedied by sleeping on top of the quilt!

This is an absolute gem! We stopped here for 2 nights after a very long train journey from Bangkok to Surat Thani (9 hours plus) before pushing on to Koh Samui. It has a lovely pool, attentive (but not overbearing) staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It also has a coffee shop and restaurant on site. The rooms were large, with a separate lounge area with a big fridge. The staff arranged pick up and drop off to the train station, which is only 5 - 10 minutes away. Overall, everything was smooth and relaxing! If you want to break your journey to and from Bangkok and Surat Thani, this is the place to go!

My family of 4 stayed here for one night as a stopover for our trip to Elephant Hills and also we stopped on our way back from Koh Phangnan to get our flight to Bangkok the next morning. It exceeded our expectations for a stopover because we really weren't expecting a lot because the price was great. We stayed in the Riverside apartment which was really good, lovely view of the river, fantastic to hear the sounds of nature at night. Our boys loved that it had an upstairs bedroom and bathroom on both floors. Really clean, water in the fridge, mini bar, brilliant pool, lovely poolside bar with great food and drinks. Staff were so lovely and friendly too. We arranged a collection to and from the airport direct with the hotel which worked really well. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a stopover on the way to the islands or Bangkok. You wont be disappointed.

No air con in the lobby area of bungalow - which was a bit confusing but didn't cause any major problems. Otherwise no complaints - the hotel was as described and we had a great stay.

1 night stay for family of 4 whilst travelling to Elephant Hills resort. Well located and maintained resort with small bunglalows and a nice pool and restaurant. Hotel arranged transfer from train station. Family bungalow with 2 ensuite rooms divided by a small lobby area. Well priced mini bar and good air conditioning. Good breakfast. Overall this was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay after a long train journey. The family running the resort are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Price was great and our cheapest night in Thailand.

We spent three nights here at Neenlawat Riverside and had a really wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially ‘John,’ who took care of everything with great care. The pool is a perfect place to relax while enjoying some delicious smoothies. Overall, everything is very well-maintained. We even received an upgrade, and John made sure we got to the train station in the middle of the night to catch our night train. Thank you so much for that! We'll definitely come back!

We arrived very late with the train, after Midnight, due to a delay. The Hotel did arrange for a smooth transfer, the driver was waiting for us at the train station, despite a three hours train delay. Thank you! An amazing hotel nestled beside the river in Surat Thani en route to Koh Samui. It is run by a lovely family, who make sure you have a delightful stay with their first rate and genuine service. Nicely spacious and comfortable rooms, great pool, fabulous homemade cooking in the restaurant by Auntie, friendly and informative transfers with Cherngharn close and afar, and much more. Well worth the visit!

The people who work there are so friendly. It was a warm welcome and they work with compassion. Lots of choices of wine and beer and good food. Pool was great and we enjoyed our stay. The next time we want to stay longer than one night. And a perfect quiet location if you like to relax in nature.
