We loved our stay in the Bougainvillia villa. It's clean, comfortable and had everything we needed (including a pool with a perfect view). Plus we were very well looked after by Muhammad and Steve. We enjoyed the journeys to and from the villa with Steve, and it was great to have his help visiting beautiful Koh Tao..

Everything, the property, the location, the staff were all fantastic. The location is very peaceful in jungle surrounding and has the best views on the island. Driver Steve is incredibly helpful and knows the best snorkelling spots and restaurants.

Bedrooms have air conditioning but the rest of the living space only has fans and will get hot but spending time on the beautiful terrace & in the amazing pool with a nice breeze more than compensated.

We are a family of 5, with 3 kids (15, 15, 18) and spent a wonderful week at the Monkey Flower Villa. It is located up in the green hills, overlooking Sairee Beach, in a private & peaceful setting, with breathtaking views from the terrace and master bedroom. The large eternity pool is amazing and an absolute highlight!! One end is 3 meters deep offering the possibility to jump into it from the roof of the villa (ca 3 meters height and there is a bridge to go up), which the kids loved!! The villa has 2 levels, with the lower floor being a separate, apartment, including a bedroom, a large living room and a super cool open plan bathroom. It also has a fridge and coffee making facilities. Our boys loved their own “kingdom” and did not mind sharing the big king sized bed. To get to the upper floor, you have to walk up some steep steps, which is not ideal for people with limited mobility as there are no handrails but luckily no issue for us. The upper floor is the main floor with access to the terrace and pool. It has a large living / dining space (with fridge and coffee making facilities), 2 bedrooms (including master), a bathroom and access to the kitchen (which is downstairs). I must add, that we did not use the kitchen because we either went out for food or ordered in as it is great value for money and super convenient. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, with very comfortable king beds. The other spaces only have fans and get hot but we did not mind as we spent most of our time on the terrace and in the pool. Obviously expect some wildlife on a tropical island. There are geckos, squirrels, bats, frogs etc. They mostly stay out of the house unless you keep the doors / mosquito nets open for too long. Daily housekeeping is included, so whenever we came back from a day out, everything was beautifully clean, we had fresh towels (for bath & beach), coffee beans were filled up and the dishes were washed.

We stayed in the smaller villa of the three and it felt so homely but with plenty of space for our baby and toddler to play. The pool and views were spectacular. Real paradise. Loved Steve and the 24/7 car service and I mean 24/7. We had friends staying in the other two villas and made it so much easier getting around especially with lots of kids in the group.

Spacious villa with beautiful views over Sairee Beach. Mohammad the villa manager was on call for every need as was Steve our villa driver who would take us anywhere we wanted at anytime of the night. This service was exceptional.

Not a lot of stuff for cooking if you want to do that but there is a charcoal bbq (staff will set it up for you if needed) and Muhammad was quick to find us a sharp knife when we needed one. There’s so much delicious food around; I’m assuming most ppl don’t cook much anyway.

Beautiful property with stunning views. Staff is amazing and helpful, helped us organize everything throughout the week, drove our silly asses up and down the hill whenever we needed to go anywhere. Pool was lovely.

The only downfall was the power outages that we experienced during our stay

Very clean! Each room was very tidy and contained all the essentials. Kitchen was also well equipped. The pool was clean and well maintained. Overall was a very nice villa! Mo, the manager of the villas, was so amazing and helpful. He drove us around to all of the best beaches, restaurants, and shops and also helped with any questions we had! Mo his entire staff made our stay 10x better!

The view from the villa was spectacular. Everything was superb! We really enjoyed our stay here. Muhammad & Steve are really helpful and they are great! Muhammad helped us by taking us to the shops to buy some groceries since there is only one halal restaurant in Koh Tao. Both Muhammad and Steve are experienced with the jeep that taking us to town and back to villa.

Monkey Flower Villas is an impressive villa in a beautiful setting. It is extremely spacious with huge rooms and patio area. Lovely design features and the landscaping of the gardens are beautiful. The lit pool was fantastic with a great view of Sairee Beach both day and night. The sunsets were stunning. The kitchen was downstairs and basic but we didn’t use it to cook so it was irrelevant. The Villa is a 5 minute drive from Sairee Beach up a very steep , private drive. There is no need to hire a car or scooters as the fabulous Mo is always at hand to drop you off and pick you up anytime and at short notice. He gave great recommendations for beaches, viewpoints, restaurants, bars , dive centres etc and took us anywhere on the island. Plus we loved the cool rides in the jeep, especially when Mo’s dog Sausage came along for the ride. A great guy and a real asset to the Villa. The cleaning ladies also did a thorough job daily.

If it hadn’t been for the fantastic service provided by Muhammad and the team and willingness to ferry us around, it would be a remote location and a very steep road up to and down from the villa. However, the service was so good that this was not a problem. It just added to the unique feel of, the location.

Lovely and unusual design. Fantastic location with a superb view of the bay. Surrounded by the vegetation and wildlife of the island. The swimming pool is fantastic.

Everything was great! One thing that couldn't be controlled however were the geckos 🥲 but that's part of the nature aspect of the place I guess haha.

The 24hr taxi service provided was amazing. Our driver - Muhammad (mainly) and Steve was super friendly and accommodating to our requests!!

Our friends had one of their best stays ever! The view, house and staff were all perfect, and we believe it's due to good management and professionalism. Mohammed was the coolest and best manager we've ever had on any of our stays (and we travel a lot around the world!). We will definitely come back again for a longer stay. And if you don't know much about the island and need anything, Mohammed is your best buddy!

Beautiful location overlooking the beach. The tree house will remain in our memories for some picturesque sunsets. Mo is top host ! Booked us a fishing trip and helped us bbq the fish. Took us anywhere we needed at very short notice. Thanks Mo 🙏
