Located within 10 minutes from the airport. Beautiful hotel on a small beach. The beach was very clean and calm waters. Not many people selling stuff like on Chaweng beach. But the area is a lot more quiet than Chaweng so does depend on what you like. The hotel most likely the best in this area and in close walking distance to small shops, restaurants and massage places (all within 5 minutes of walking). The staff are all extremely friendly and helpfull with anything that is needed and any time.

The room is well equipped, clean and beautiful. The hotel staff is very kind and provides the best service.

Didn’t expect to have to deposit 2000 baht per night, spa facilities are a rip off, especially the sauna costing near £30 for 30 mins of use.

Melia is a great place to stay, facilities are top notch and always kept clean and inviting. Staff are very helpful.

Food and drink prices. Sat at the main pool most days and was b=never asked if I would like a drink or food around the pool. An opportunity!

Pool around the property was incredible, gardens and atmosphere amazing. Breakfast had a good selection but needed to be more regularly serviced and topped up. Room was excellent. We stayed at 4 places in KS this time, and staff were ok here- just not overly friendly like most Thais. Lastly, food and drinks were over priced compared to other resorts- thus most people ate elsewhere.

Nothing not to like.

Beautiful tropical gardens and well appointed rooms, swimming pool was clean and warm, staff were attentive everyone was keen to help you . Location was in a small village with a few shops a but added to the chilled out vibe.. Chaweng about 15 mins by taxi if you want more hustle bustle. Beach was clean and quiet.

- No smart TV in any of the rooms. Why?! - Oceab View Boat suites very expensive with very small windows and a terrace with crazy hot wooden floor. If you chose a boat suite, we highly recommend choosing a „normal“ one and not the sea view one!

Despite the rather high price, we cannot recommend this hotel enough - it was the best hotel and overall experience we have ever had. We payed a little bit more but will always remember our great stay here! We stayed with a 1-year old in two different rooms during our stay: Ocean View Boat and Pool Access Room (both with Level Access). We highly recommend the „regular“ pool access rooms! + Loop Pool is amazing and like a tourist attraction on its own + Water/maritime theme is awesome, there is water everywhere and you can walk through shallow water on your way through the hotel area + The Level is really nice even though we also tried the regular breakfast buffet and it is great as well + Great beach for kids, especially during low tide + Great for kids in general (two different kids rooms for different ages, pool/water play area, kids program) + Several beach restaurants nearby + Really good hotel spa/massage service (even though quite expensive) + Even though it was close to fully booked during our stay, it never felt crowded because the hotel layout is so well thought through

A 10-minute drive from Chaweng Street

Amazing hotel! I recommend taking a room on the water so that you have access to the luxurious lounge throughout your vacation. We will definitely return to this hotel. A big thank you to the reception representative Van and all the hotel employees who were lovely and helped us with everything!

Nothing negative, all good. If at all, the restaurant at the beach could offer mor variety in the evening, possibly including more Thai food. Much appreciated the Thai food night, which could be offered multiple times per week.

The employees are very helpful, courteous and very efficient, from reception, to breakfast room, to beach restaurant, to cleaners, to general staff. Often they approached us asking whether we needed any help or water. The room is very spacious, very nice and always kept very clean. We liked very much the pool, the access to the beach, the ice cream shop. The breakfast offers a lot of choice and caters for any kind of taste or need. As a possible improvement, the restaurant at the beach could offer mor variety in the evening, possibly including more Thai food. Much appreciated the Thai food night, which could be offered multiple times per week. The overall experience exceeded our expectations and helped creating a memorable vacation. Thanks to all Staff from Switzerland.

I love this hotel every time I come here. Best hotel pool in the world. Lovely staff. A bit removed from central Koh Samui but plenty things around to do for food and activities should you want to leave. The staff are so attentive! Pharaoh was lovely every time we walked through the lobby. White lotus vibes (but without the bad stuff)
