Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Great location, beautifully surrounding, most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, answered all our questions and always willing to help. (Thank you Mari, you’re a legend!) They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Food was delicious, great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was very clean, well equipped and comfortable with lots of space in it. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Thank you!

I think the food was a bit underwhelming. Some of it was great, but some of it was not up to par with a 5 star hotel. Especially the pizza on pizza night wasn’t good. And if you’ll add a treadmill it’ll be great 👍🏻

The highlight of my trip for sure! The room was huge, and had a spectacular view to the ocean. The pool is incredible, and the spa and gym as well. Even though it’s located up on a mountain, it is quite close the fisherman’s village so it’s not too bad. However you do rely on taxis

Welcoming, smiling, hospitality at its best Colour, nationality, ethnicity all treated with the utmost appreciation and mutual respect. We agreed that the hotel employees seemed to be very happy to work at the hotel! TLDR: YES YES YES, do not hesitate to book your stay at Mantra Samui Resort! Nothing but smiles and happiness. Ocean view Rooms are definitely worth the upgrade! Rooms are clean, spacious and cooled. The hotels makes a great effort on sustainability and it shows, so big bravo on your efforts :) On day of checkout we were able to enjoy the pool and the hotel even provides a ‘shower room’ to get ready for departure!! They offer some events throughout the week (theme nights, daily golden hours for drinks at reduced rates, gym classes, etc) Very fairly priced food and drinks in the bar + have I mentioned the great view? Excellent breakfast options + a la carte menu (included in rate), Offer shuttle service to nearby hotspots Hotel/guest relations does a great job in working on customer/guest feedback. Great WiFi strength/ bandwidth, never had any issues! Currently great weather even though it is rain season, so definitely should not hold you back from visiting! Located nicely, surrounded by jungle forest. Offering a great view of the surrounding area and lookout on to the bay. Offers shuttle service to/from the airport at a good rate. Definitely worth booking a scooter/ motor bike for a few days to get around. Hotel offers them at a great rate, via 3rd party, and does not require your tourist visa. Anecdote: a snake crawled on to the powerlines outside of the resort which resulted in a shortcircuit. The staff/technicians had the temporary electricity up and running in less than 10 minutes. Great memories made, we would love to visit again!

The minibar was empty and was never filled. We didnt enjoy the cooking. Some of the a la carte breakfast meals were super small, the taste of most of them wasnt the best. The menu wasnt accurate about the ingredients (for example baked pineapple with rice didnt state there was meat in it - i am a vegetarian and i didnt appreciate picking out the meat pieces off my meal). Our burgers were completely dry, there was no sauce inside.

Perfect location, nice views. We got a free upgrade to ocean view room which we appreciated. Room was spacy and very clean. Staff kept offering a buggy rides up the hill, even tho we lived in the first third of the path. Infinity pool was beautiful. We got an early check in for free (cca around 11) and we got a coupon for free tea / coffee to enjoy before the room was ready. Buffet breakfast was great, wide variety of foods, never left with empty stomach.

Slightly far away from the beach and the walk down/back up the the hotel is incredibly steep. However I wasn't too worried about this. And the hotel also offers a free shuttle throughout the day to anyone who wants to explore

The views from the rooms are beautiful and they are finished to a very high standard. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was great. Everywhere was spotless. Very good value for money. They even were able to assist with booking tours and transfers at a really good price. I cannot wait to come back.

The wine offering is a bit basic. I would expect some higher quality wines to be available also on their wine list.

We booked different type of accommodations during our 3 weeks stay in Thailand but this was our favourite. Our room/apartment was wonderful. The view from the restaurant and by the pool is just mesmerizing. The staff members were always kind and helpful. They have a really good menu offering and we were highly satisfied with all the dishes what we tried.

The restaurant crew were a bit clumsy at times (getting our orders wrong/late multiple time) but they were very nice and polite. The property is on a steep hill which might be uncomfortable at times for some, but the staff gives rides within the facility.

The place is beautiful, staff is amazing very amiable and helpful with everything you need and very reasonable. Great view and a place to lay back and enjoy yourself.

The sun loungers by the pool and also the pool towels could probably do with a bit of an upgrade. Everything else felt luxurious but these felt like they had seen better days.

Right from check in it felt luxurious with the staff super friendly and accomodating. The room was huge with a private balcony and sun loungers. The bathroom was also huge. The staff are always happy to help and drive you around in the carts to the pool/restaurant if needed (very steep hill). The breakfast was great with lots of variety in the buffet and cooked options from a menu. The location was very serene, however I would not book here if you expect to be able to walk to the beach/shops.

The location is up a hill, so isn’t the best place if you want walk (we recommend getting a car or a scooter if you are used to hilly terrain)

Beautiful location and stunning views from the restaurant. The staff were absolutely faultless and very accommodating - nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a genuinely lovely time on Koh Samui, and this hotel played a very big part in that! Would 100% recommend and hopefully will return one day!

Old tv doesn't had ability to stream from phone. Hotel is a bit far from main road and local attractions, although it offers free ride to main road.

The only improvement could be for the Wow apartment front doors, as these were a little difficult to lock and may require maintenance.

It was, as you can expect, quite expensive to dine at the restaurant. The hotel is also a bit far from the main road and beach so you need to take a taxi or drive yourself to get anywhere. We felt a bit isolated in the hotel.

Beautiful resort with huge rooms and a lovely pool and restaurant area. Staff was really helpful. Decent gym if you want to work out. Some great views from the spacious balcony. We loved our stay here.
